Makro is a huge superstore but it does not sell directly to the public. In order to buy you have to have a business and apply for a store card. The process is fairly quick but does require you to take all the paperwork they require. The store itself was not one of the biggest I have visited but it was well stocked none the less. You won't find clothing at this store and their appliances section was a bit small. The meat, fish, fruit section was quite big. The other sections are what you would normally see in a supermarket but you will find the the packages they sell are much bigger as they are designed for restaurants and hotels or cleaning companies etc. That said you can still but single products. One thing to watch out for is the prices that are most visible are prices excluding VAT but you will see the small print shows prices including VAT.

Noto sempre que há uma reposição de produtos deficiente, faltam muitas vezes produto, os preços nem sempre estão expostos e a variedade tambem é fraca. O ponto mais positivo é a rapidez das caixas e a simpatia do pessoal de uma maneira geral.

Comprei adega eletrica para vinhos hoje. Anunciado no jornal semanal do Makro: Adega para 28 garrafas, € 179. Era para 18 garrafas. Ao montar falta um pé ( de rosca para regular altura. A caixa havia sinal de já haver sido aberta. Nenhuma instrução para montagem. Vou tentar conseguir o reparo ou devolver.
