Alexander is a kind, welcoming, and accommodating host. The vineyard has amazing views and rich with history. I would recommend a reservation for a tastings, but Alexander was very accommodating when we pulled into his beautiful Quinta on a whim. The wine is very light, delicious, and each one has a story to share. Along with the wine tasting, Alexander provided tapas that were exquisite and went further to show his generous hospitality. We will be back when we visit Portugal again.

This is a must if you are in region. Wine is outstanding and owners are very friendly and gracious to show you there estate. The winery has a beautiful view and the tasting area is the best we have been to so far. It is an organic winery and while you are there look at the tile work on residence. I wish them al the best in there endeavour and will be looking for there wines in North America. Thanks

Fantastic tour around the wine estate with very good explanations on wine making in this region on the boarder between two famous wine regions. Highly recommend this winery outside of the most touristic villages. We got a very individual tour for the two of us only. The wines itself also highly recommendable.
