Gaia Surf House è un posto per tutti, adatto alle esigenze sia di chi vuole girare il Portogallo on the road senza dover cambiare più hotels, che per chi vuole visitare Porto in un viaggio low-cost. È una realtà giovane, gestita da persone giovani, pulita e ben attrezzata, molto accogliente e in una posizione strategica: proprio fuori dal cancello si trova la fermata del bus che arriva direttamente nel centro di Porto, sopratutto la zona è molto tranquilla e sicura. Dani, la nostra Host, è un'ottima padrona di casa: sempre attenta alle esigenze dei suoi ospiti, pronta a risolvere qualsiasi problema si possa presentare, minuziosa nelle faccende domestiche e nella cura degli spazi, ottima consigliera (ci ha indicato spiagge incantevoli e zone meravigliose da visitare), ma sopratutto grande amica: è la compagna di viaggio che tutti vorrebbero avere. Ci sono due camerate da sei letti ciascuna, per un totale massimo di 12 ospiti; Gaia Surf House fornisce un piumino leggero per dormire e un cuscino. La location, munita di due posti auto esterni e di altrettanti liberi poco lontani, dista pochissimo sia dall'oceano che da un supermercato. Il bagno, di normali dimensioni, è in comune ed è fornito di una vasca con doccia e di una finestra. La "piccola" famiglia di Bulldog è un raggio di sole nelle fresche sere di fine estate: tre cani dolci e ben addestrati, presenza affettuosa e poco invadente. Un ottimo servizio offerto, oltre alle splendide opere d'arte che Dani crea e dipinge a mano (vi consiglio di comprarne una come ricordo unico), è la possibilità di partecipare a delle Surf-Classes (con possibilità di diversi pacchetti sul loro sito) con George e Andres, veri e propri maestri di quest'arte. È stata un'esperienza fantastica, ci siamo trovati davvero bene, un'ottimo pretesto per tornare e soggiornare a Gaia Surf House, magari, questa volta, incentrando la nostra visita sul Surf. Un forte abbraccio a Dani, senza la quale non sarebbe stata la stessa vacanza. A presto! ♥️ Davide e Chiara

Sind durch Zufall auf diese Surfschule gekommen, haben spontan einen Termin für den nächsten Tag bekommen, sie waren sehr flexibel. Waren zu Zweit mit dem Surflehrer. Andre ist ein sehr erfahrener und guter Surflehrer. Er hat uns alles genau erklärt und wir hatten sehr viel Spaß zusammen. Wir surften zum ersten mal und können diese Surfschule absolut empfehlen. Wirklich top! Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut! Man bekommt die ganze Ausrüstung und den Transfer zum Strand und den Unterricht!

Some of the best surf teachers I have ever had. Jorge and Andre really wanted us to do well and to have fun on the water. We learned a lot and had a great laugh with them on the beach! thank you!

I have been to Gaia Surf House twice. I loved the place, I call it a little paradise. The hosts are kind and friendly and they give surf classes which are very well given ! The House is near the beach and there is a bus in front of the house to go to Porto. I would definitely recommend this place !

Nice house & really good place to chill, too bad the owners arent kind at all. Me and my friends were there for a week, they hardly ever said hello when they passed us and didn't even say goodbye when they dropped us off at the airport.

The House is really amazing, owners are really kind and helpful people I'm happy I met them. Surrounding of the house is best I've ever seen - there is so much stuff to just seat and chill or just spent some active time (boards, bikes, voleyball).
