Pomimo wieku niemowlaka w stosunku do tuzów (rok założenia 1981) nic im nie ustępuje, a nawet w niektórych rodzajach (białe wytrawne porto) przewyższa.

Прекрасная атмосфера. Несмотря на высокий ценник вин, есть дегустации с очень демократичной ценой. В винодельне есть гид Татьяна, говорящая по-русски, которая провела отличную и очень познавательную дегустацию. С удовольствием вернусь сюда.

A real treat. The basic taster menu is brilliant and very affordable; tastes of the more expensive options confirm that they are still a very reasonably priced indulgence. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and engaged. No tour necessary to access the tastings. A lovely experience.

יקב מקסים ומהמם. מקום מיוחד לאוהבי היין. יש סיורים במרתפי היקב עם הסברים, חביות היין המדהימות ביופיין.. וכמובן טעימות בסוף. לכל חובב יין ממליצה מאוד.

Had a really great time here. We did the port tasting and tour. It was like 7 euro per person for the tasting. All of the staff was really friendly and made a great experience. I ended up having 6 bottles shipped back to the US which was not a problem we just had to fill out a 1 page piece of paper. Highly recommended and would definitely return

Don't turn up without a booking or they will look at you like you squatted in a barrel of lbv and took a big dump. Even if the place is empty.

Bardzo smaczne, wytrawne Porto. Najtańsza wycieczka połączona z degustacją trzech win 7,5€. Załapaliśmy się na wycieczkę po angielsku o godzinie 16, Pani przewodniczka była bardzo miła i z pasją opowiadała o hodowli winogron, różnych sposobach produkcji i rozlewania win. Polecam

Très beau et bon moment ! Un accueil très prévenant et dégustation avec explications en français ! Après la dégustation : petite visite commentée (possible en français sur réservation). Arrivés à l'improviste nous l'avons suivie en anglais et malgré notre niveau moyen nous avons parfaitement compris. Cette maison, dernière née en 1981, est très mature dans l'élaboration de ses assemblages et propose des vins plus secs que ce que nous avons l'habitude de trouver en France : une vraie découverte et un ravissement à la dégustation !

We hebben een rondleiding gehad bij Churchill's. Deze was vrij kort (23/7/18) omdat we ergens niet mochten kijken vanwege een barst in de muur. Verder wel goede en aardige vrouw die veel wist over het bedrijf. De proeverij was erg leuk en lekker.

Fui hoje tentar conhecer o vosso jardim e o novo bar , para meu espanto quando lá cheguei (sexta feira 12 de Junho 17 h) estava fechado, o que contraria a imformação sobre os dias e horários do funcionamento do espaço.

호텔주인이 추천해준대로 케이블카를 타고 내려서 언덕으로 한참 걸어올라갔어요. 술을 많이 마시지 않는편이라 클래식 7.5유로 코스(3잔 시음) 로 주문했어요.
5시가 마지막 투어라고해서 전화로 예약했고, 5시 10분 전에 도착해서 두잔마시고 와이너리투어하고 마저한잔 마셨어요. 안주는 크래커 주었고 다들 친절하셔서 즐거운 시간보냈습니다. 애들은 술못마시므로 무료~투어는 같이했네요

예약을 하지 않으면 안된다는 리뷰가 있었지만 워낙 리뷰가 좋아 가 보았다. 들어가서는 예약을 안했는데 투어가 가능할지 물어보았고 직원이 잠깐 기다려보라고 한 후 다른 팀과 합류가 가능한지 확인 후 바로 들어오라고 했다.
다른 와이너리에 비해 비교적 역사는 짧고 규모는 작지만 투어와 시음만큼은 친절하고 열정적이었다. 가성비는 최고일 듯 싶다.
세 잔에 7.5유로 포트와인 시음을 선택한 후 바로 투어시작, 포트와인을 만드는 과정과 와이너리의 역사에 대해 들었다. 질문이 많았는데 하나 하나 친절한 답을 들을 수 있었다. 투어가 끝나고 바로 시음을 시작했는데 맛있는 크래커도 서비스로 제공받았다.
알차고 유익한 시간이었다. 와인의 세계에 살짝 입문한 기분..^^ 선물용 와인을 들고 기분좋게 나왔다.

Picked this one because it was a bit off the tourists track and was highly rated. Glad we did. The four of us got a tour all to ourselves with Nuno who gave us a great tour and answered a whole lot of questions. Great times.

Second time we visited for port tasting during our time in Porto. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the port making our visit memorable. We even were able to get a quick visit to the cellar. Can not recommend this place highly enough.

Magnifique endroit, certainement la plus belle cave de tout Gaïa. Le porto est excellent et met en avant l'investissement de toute une famille pour faire perdurer la marque. Incontournable.

Wer dem Touristen-Trubbel entgehen will und eine sehr ausführliche fast familiäre Portweinverkostung genießen möchte, ist bei Churchill's genau richtig! Sehr nettes Personal, die Erklärungen und Verkostung an jedem Tisch einzeln, keine Massenabvertigung, die Führung durch die Weinkeller mit gerade mal 10 Personen....und die Portweine eine Wucht. Absolute Empfehlung, kein Vergleich zu Calmar o.ä. Kosten: für uns kostenlos als Kunden der Duro Marina, sonst 7,50 € p.P. (3 Weine)

What an amazing experience. I have done other port wine tours in Porto but Churchill's was definitely the best one so far. Everyone at the winery is super nice and knowledgeable. The winery is a bit of a walk from the touristy area but totally worth it!

No. Don't go here!!!
We felt very unwelcome and were treated very poorly. When we came in we had to ask if we could be seated, 2 hrs before closing. They had to check. After us we saw others kindly being appointed a seat. The place was half empty.
We had to ask for attention if we could pretty please order. We had 2 tastings, with some cheese: 31 euro.
Then, we already got the 3rd round of Port whilst we were still on our 1st, rushing the experience. The 1st lady explaining about the Port seemed bored and uninterested.
The tasting room is without atmosphere.
When paying to leave (within the hour), we found out it should have included a free tour with the tasting, and we were not invited/ no one told us. The Ukranian lady taking the money laughingly told us "well you havent lost anything". Wow, I guess thats not the attitude the owner wants you to have?
It's sad that we were treated like this because we came to Porto for a tasting, and felt very unwelcome. I do NOT recommend this place because of our experience.

기본적으로 테이스팅이 인당 7.5유로에 3잔입니다.
술을 잘하지 못해서 두 명이 한 명치만의 포트와인만 테이스팅할 수 있는지 물었고 나눠주겠다고 하였습니다.
그런데 도우루와인을 시작으로 포트와인 3잔, 그리고 하이퀄리티의 레드와인까지 서비스로 제공해주셔서;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; 인당 5잔씩이 나왔고 금액은 둘이 합쳐서 총 7.5유로를 받았습니다...심지어 크래커도 그냥 주셨어요 같이 드시라며....뷰도 좋고 남자 서버 분 눈망울이 촉촉하고 속눈썹도 예쁘게 올라가 계십니다 진짜 최고에요 저 울어요
친절하고 맛있고 따뜻한 곳이에요

Woweeee!! I'm still feeling the love from this establishment. We were a party of 3 and ordered classic, tawny and ruby tastings. We got well into the late bottle vintage and vintage selections. Carmen was welcoming, informative and generous. She will convert you to loving ruby. I know, previously I was a tawny fan. Churchill's is a young house but going places. Drier in style vs other houses but with great results. Don't go higher up the hill. Nip in here for a nip and then another nip.

We visited Churchills with two children. The staff could not have been more friendly and treated our children so well, even playing with them while we tasted. The various ports we tasted were delicious and we ended up ordering six, but the basic red/white wine tasting was just okay. Double check when you're told that your tasting will be comped. We were, told our two tastings would be; however, only the very inexpensive table wine tasting was...

Visita increíble, gente muy agradable, te explican toda la historia de la trayectoria de la bodega, una mini ruta por toda la bodega y cata de 5 vinos diferentes. Precios muy asequibles. Nos atendió Catarina, una muchacha con excelente nivel de español, simpática y muy atenta. Inolvidable.

Great place with best value for money port wine tasting. We went for classic option and for 7.5 euro we have tasted 3 really smooth ports. Staff there is really friendly, making sure everyone leaves happy and not empty-handed :)

We tasted wine and ports a few days ago and loved it. It was short and sweet and we were able to learn a lot about port. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly as well as knowledgeable.

Excellent tour. Wine tasting tour starts from $7.50 per person. The tour is comprehensive and provides good introduction to Port wine making. Churchill is a youngest Port wine maker. Whats the difference to other Port wine maker? Their wines are less sweet, has more structure and maturity to its taste.

Super visite avec une guide qui s'y connaissait vraiment. Plus jeune cave et donc plus petite, très interressante à comparer avec les plus commerciales. La visite avec dégustation est vraiment moins chere que les autres ( la moitié du prix des autres caves).

For the youngest port lodge in Oporto, Churchill has great tasting products. The white port is aged in wood and had this amber color similar to an old tawny. The tasting room is quaint and staff are very friendly. Pedro Guimarenz who did the tasting for us was very friendly and informative. Churchill's classic tasting of 3 ports, dry white, reserve and 10-year Tawny is 5€, which is very reasonable. They have other tasting packages from 10€ and up. Their oldest tawny is 30-year old Tawny. Their 2011 Late Bottled Port is a wonderful port and it is unfiltered but unfortunately they're sold out, so, buy it if you find it in a bottle shop.

I attended the English tour and it was wonderful. The staff was very profesional but also really kind and nice. The basic taste (three different wines) was the best value for money in the area (we visited three other cellers). Although It is 5 minuts walking from the river, it deserves the walk. Do not miss it!!!

The tasting was good value for money. The person tending to us was clearly quite knowledgeable. Wasn't impressed with the staff's rudeness. No, I didn't have a reservation but why did I need one? Only 3 tables were taken, a lot of the staff were busy chatting to each other. The lady who eventually let us sit down was so snobbish. Nobody else came while we were there so it's not like they were waiting for a large group. Terrible attitude towards customers.

Interesting tour and great guide, very friendly and service minded. Provided answers to all our questions and had some additional pieces of trivia to add. Tasting itself was great value for money, really enjoyed the dry white.

Tour unavailable without prior reservation. Stuffy tasting room, felt even more oppressive after the uphill walk.
On the plus side tasting options looked interesting and staff seemed friendly.
No point staying with better/more comfortable/open options around.

Visite en français. 5€ par personne pour déguster 3 Porto différents, avec les explications. La cave nous a même offert un verre de 20 ans d'âge pour comparer.
Suivi d'une visite de leur cave.
Nous laisse prendre le temps de la dégustation.

Cave muito agradável e com excelente atendimento. Só peca por não ter acessibilidade (como muitos lugares em Portugal). Eu estava com minha filha dormindo no carrinho e tive que levá-los (minha filha + o carrinho) nos braços, escadas acima.
De qualquer forma, recomendo o local e a degustação dos vinhos.

We were there Apr-28-2016 with a voucher from the Intercontinental Porto-Palacio Das Cardosas. Tasted four different ports including white and reds, accompanied with cheese and crackers. Churchill's staff treated us like royalty, providing detailed information about the history of the winery and the ports we tasted. Our guide was the best!
