David, the owner, is one of the most knowledgeable professionals in the wine /Porto industry I have ever met. His shop is stocked with carefully selected wines and Portos which show how much he really cares. With price ranges for all budgets, this should be in your "bucket list" of places to visit while in Porto.

I had a Porto tasting at Touriga’s during my holiday time in Porto. David was very nice, explained me all I needed to know about Porto region and wines. Very easy going, very careful, great wine selection - as far as I know. Definitely worth a visit!

Oggi sono entrato per comprare del vino verde. Ne ho provati un paio e ho comprato un Loureiro che m'é piaciuto molto. Poi Davide m'ha invitato a fare una degustazione di vino di porto di piccoli produttori ed é stata molto interessante. Consiglio di entrare per conoscere il vino portoghese.

Great selection of wines, they are from small local producers and there's also the opportunity to some Porto wine tasting for really low prices. You can have the wines shipped to all over the world, with great courier prices for Europe. Highly recommended.

Très bon caviste qui propose de déguster des Portos qui changent des grandes maisons connues. Les explications qui accompagnent les vins sont données dans un français parfait par le patron (Davide) et sont très intéressantes ; on ressent sa passion pour les produits de qualités. Les 6 Portos que nous avons goûté (blancs et rouges de 10 à 40 ans), étaient tous très différents et excellents !

very cold welcome in this shop, didn't like the atmosphere much. Wine tasting was okay, but nö Services in buying something. Therefore: left the Location and will not return.

Small winery with a great selection. Personnel is very knowledgeable and happy to guide you through their bottles to meet your requirements. You can even taste a few of their bottles. As opposed to other wineries downtown, they do not seem to carry many main stream port brands, which is definitely a plus.

We stopped in Tourism after a food tour with Taste Porto. David (the owner of Touriga), was very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped select several wines and Ports and does have the ability to ship to the US. Highly recommended.

What a lovely find! Great little shop. The owner is a lovely chap, always happy to chat to you to help you find the best wine or just to learn about your taste. We had already decided on a pricey wine (around 20 euros) when he came over and suggested we try the cheapest bottle of the same grape variety. Most business owners wouldn't do that as they'd rather make more money. Not true in this case. Really refreshing to see so much passion. We ended up buying both bottles. Will be back next time we're in Porto!

Le gérant parle français, vous donne de très bons conseils sur le choix de portos par exemple, vous permet de goutter plusieurs choix et ne vous pousse pas à la vente. Si vous souhaitez ramener un souvenir de vins ou de Portos, cette boutique est géniale et.n'est pas un attrape touriste.

Purtroppo il proprietario non parla moltissimo inglese, difficile farsi raccontare nel dettaglio i mille aspetti del porto. Le degustazioni sono però molto interessanti, in fasce da 3/10/15 € si assaggiamo 3 vini. Consiglio vivamente una degustazione di questo tipo alle solite grosse cantine sul Douro

The right place to buy port in Porto. Forget about port [tasting] tours in big wineries on the Douro river bank. They will tell you about port and in the very end you'll be given an option to try 2 different varieties of their port. Something like very simple "fine" and a bit more interesting "reserve" etc. Here in this place you'll be able to try much more different port types - just as you discuss bottles they will propose you to just try and see if there's a difference for you or not. What's more they have many brands you haven't heard of before and still those are very good. As for me it's much more interesting to bring home something very special compared to what I may get in any store everywhere. Really go and try this one you barely will leave it without a bottle or two :)

Excellent wine shop that was recommended to us by a local. You can taste quite a few of the ports before buying them. The staff is knowledgeable and prices are better than many other shops.

Small and personal wine shop. You can get an excellent wine tasting experience here, with a good explanation of the local wine production (better than at many of the wine cellars). Also, prices are reasonable.
