Verstecktes, goldiges Restaurant. Draußen 2 Tische nicht ganz so gemütlich bestuhlt, drinnen umso schöner. Service top, beide Tagesessen mit Suppe und Dessert geschmacklich überragend! PLV klasse, da sehr günstig. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen gemütlichen Abend!

Un rincón especial entre el centro y la ribera del río, a las puertas del tranvia de oporto. Muy buen ambiente, como en casa, tranquilidad, armonía, buena Temperatura.y una comida sencilla y muy muy bien elaborada y con muy buen sabor. Una gran experiencia con la amabilidad de sus propietarios. Además los animales son bienvenidos, algo difícil de encontrar en oporto. Para apuntar en la agenda.

An amazing hidden place that is well worth the visit if you're staying in Porto. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and the price is amazing. The space is used really well.
Me and the misses ate here and we both agreed the food was the right amount. It was delicious and I mean every word of that, the soup was on point. The main dish was served with salad that really went well with it.

Casa da Horta is a very nice, but hidden spot in Porto. We really enjoyed our (vegan) Lunch there! Especially the vegan cake and dessert were worth the visit. So if you are looking for cheap, vegan and delicious food, this is the place for you! It is not your usual restaurant, but you'll really enjoy the atmosphere.

Un antiguo caserón encantador con comida vegana y vino casero a muy buen precio. El lugar es una asociación cultural donde hacen actividades de todo tipo como exposiciones, conciertos, etc. Dentro tienen un calendario mensual con todas sus actividades y puedes hacerte miembro. Los dueños son muy simpáticos.

Really enjoyed our lunch here - bean stew with shiitake mushrooms was delicious! Very good value (5.50 euro for soup, main dish and drink). Feels tucked away and quiet, and is a great community to support.

No es sólo un restaurante vegetariano, sino una asociación que ofrece productos locales y bebidas originales. Organizan actividades durante todo el año (cine, conciertos, exposiciones...) y tienen una pequeña tienda de artesanía, libros y arte. Un equipo humano encantador y un trato agradable. Disponen de terraza y el local está decorado con mucho gusto. Un lugar en el que perderse y dejar volar la imaginación. ¡Muy recomendable!

Excelente comida vegana ecológica y de proximidad. Puedes colaborar haciéndote socia por un euro simbólico, ya que es una asociación. En el mismo centro y ría de Oporto pero sin el agobio del turismo masivo. Un auténtico oasis en medio de la ciudad y con muchas actividades. Muy barato y menú diario. Amabilidad extrema, biblioteca y juegos y agua del grifo buenísima. Es un edificio histórico.

We really loved this place and is one of our favourite in Porto! This is not a restaurant but an association offering meal and lunch some hours every day and you can have a menu with 5.5 plus everything is vegan! We also did the alternative (free admission) city tour and whe enjoyed every last minute of it! Don't let yourself go away from this place without drinking combucha! It will power you up!

Espaço apelativo, mas o atendimento deixa bastante a desejar. Incapacidade quase total de satisfazer o menu apresentado ao cliente. O funcionário que me atendeu tinha graves problemas de visão periférica. Doses ridiculamente escassas para servirem de refeição completa.

Consigliato. Il posto ideale dove vedersi con gli amici a fare due chiacchiere gustando cibo vegano. L'ambiente è informale e tranquillo, con buona musica raggae di sottofondo. Presti onesti, ti permettono pure di ordinare acqua del rubinetto senza rincaro. Il menù a cena propone una zuppa, un primo, un piatto speciale e due dolci. Bisogna ordinare in cassa, dopodiché verrete serviti.
Va sottolineato che non è un ristorante ma un'associazione culturale (ci lavorano anche dei volontari) che propone molte attività collaterali eventi ecc.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant place. Very hearty and tasty vegan food which is freshly made using local ingredients. Soup+drink+main for 6 euros, this is charity. I love their idea of using local ingredients and care for the environment and food waste. I am definitely visiting this place again if I am in Porto.

Nunca sabremos que tal la comida..fuimos varias veces y nunca tuvimos suerte con el horario! No coincide con el horario de google y otra vez tuvimos que salir ya que había una reunión privada..quizas en otra vida!

10 stars! I absolutely love this place and the people who run it! Very very good vegan food for a low price! Fresh made everyday the menu is always different and delicious. Highly recommended. Also, they have clothing donations to score a new sweater or drop your old one off!

I've spent 3 days in Porto and been here twice. Once i've end up doing a language exchange and the second time i've seen a great concert. Food is amazing! I've tried the vegan francesinha and was so yummi! And everything super cheap! Thank you so much to all the volunteers working there giving this place such a nice vibe!

Brilliant place. Good vibes. Simple menu that changes daily with delicious food. Live music Saturday nights. Spend on average 11euros for a 3 course meal and drinks. Stayed in Porto 3 nights and ate here every night.

Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere.

Budget vegan food that's full of flavor.
Menu changes daily with a nice selection of hearty and fresh dishes. There was live music that brought in the crowds of locals. The atmosphere was very calm and friendly. Wine was especially lovely and really good price. Worth a try if in the area !!

Dank Google haben wir diese süße kleine vegane Restaurant gefunden. Man kann es sonst leicht übersehen. Draußen sind 2 kleine Tischchen, aber es war uns zu heiss in der Sonne. Unten ist es dann schön kühl. Es gibt ein Tagesmenü mit Suppe und Getränk für 5,50€. Heute Linsencurry mit Reis. Und ein Starter ( Brot und Oliven) für 1,50 € Ich fand es sehr lecker <3
Der Service ist superfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The vegan food was delicious and really tasted fresh-made. The restaurant itself was in the basement/cave, so it was dark and had a mysterious vibe. There were games you could play and books you could read. It was a not a restaurant to go for a fancy dinner, but they served comfort food for a decent price.

Really good experience - vegetarian, healthy and delicious food and lovey atmosphere. The staff is super friendly.
They have a daily menu (changes depends on the day) for the price of 5,50€ and a optional dessert (1,5€-2€) as well as variety of spirits.

Excellent vegetarian food and open, relax and friendly atmosphere. It is by a community of volenteers well runned place, just around corner of the church museum and Bolsa palace, where everyone will feel welcome. We were with our 3 kids and we all ordered the full menu (€ 5,50) and had soup and bulgar with curry, with a drink. We all finished the meal with empty dishes, so tasty it was! The staff is so friendly, who were all speaking perfect english. They also sell Club-Mate Cola drink which is unique in portugal I think.

This place is absolutely amazing and I think my best experience in Porto. It's not a restaurant as you know it, rather a friendly table where you pay a little contribution for the ingredients but not much- they do it because it's what they love to do.
Some people complain about the "plain" taste: I have indeed eaten better tasting dishes in vegetarian restaurants all over the world but none of them has ever made me feel so happy! I couldn't recommend it more!!

Amazing place and friendly staff. We had homemade kombucha, a beet root soup, and a full plate of a vegan burger, salad, and a few other veggies. All for 5.50€! Food was delicious and I loved the atmosphere!

싼 가격에 비건 음식을 만날 수 있음. 내가 방문했을 땐 슾+메인+마실것 해서 5.5 였음. 가게 분위기는 상당히 가정적이고, 직원도 친절하고, 함께하는 사람들끼리 공연이나 언어교류 등 여러 행사도 하는 것 같으니, 오래 머무르고 관심이 있다면 방문해도 괜찮을 것 같다.
맛도 나쁘지 않고 가격도 괜찮지만, 다른 모든 것을 제쳐놓고 도우루 강변에 갔으면 해산물을 먹어야지! 하는 사람은 들어가지 말 것.

Maybe it was just an off night. It was quiet, service was polite but indiferent. There was a tiny menu with soup as starter which we didn't have, and a choice of Tofu and bulghar or Burger (without a bun) and bulghar. We only had the burger which came with salad and ratatouille. The bulghar was great but the burger was the consistency of rubber and even the ratatouille was chewy. It seemed the place lacked passion tonight. I'm giving it 3 stars just for being vego and for being very cheap but for the same money I would go to Marcel and Georges as it is everything this place is not.

This place is great. We got a soup, a big bowl or pasta and a drink for €5.50pp and it was just really nice, simple, cheap, unpretentious food and setting. It should be noted that there is a very small changing menu each day but I think this works really well in this context. I also got a piece of really lovely cake for €1.40. It is lovely. I highly recommend and wish there was more of these types of places.

Amazing vegan place!!!!! One of the best ones I've been so far. It's VERY cheap (6€ for the whole menu with a drink, a zucchini soup, toasts with a tomato/red peppers paste then a meal with seitan/eggplants/potatoes and bulgur salad, and the desert was a cookie)
It's simple but very tasty.
This was my first but definitely not my last time here!!

We were so fortunately to have found this lovely vegan restaurant. I really liked vegetable soup which is not an easy find in my three week trip in Europe. It's not easy to be a vegan while traveling.
The price is quite reasonable compare with everything we have seen. We ordered one beer, one soft drink, two soup, plus two main dishes, and a vegan desert. The bill was under 18 euros. Great value!

Quite nice alternative pub with a feminist, arty touch. Home made food is good and there was a nice live guitar player. We also liked the challenging weekly riddle. Come here if you want a beer or wine in a nice atmosphere with a little bit to eat. Don't come if you look for a great fine dinner.

Casa da Horta is one of those very unique and original places harder and harder to find in such a globalised world ... even in Porto, that had a very extreme "touristic boom".
It s actually a very exciting association and place with a very cool agenda of activities like debates, movie cycles, concerts, jamm sessions, workshops, eco visits, among several others.
It s a non commercial place and so the profit is invested in the associations and in its projects it self.
The food has a very "home-made" style and touch, mostly cooked using local and biological products.
Some of the staff are international volunteers.
What else to say? Well, you have to see it, but specially "feel" it, on yourself. It s really one of those places that you just "can t miss" when in Porto!

Definitely food is not the main topic here - we waited for 1.5 hours and the waiter forgot half of our order... It is not a restaurant, but rather a "cultural association" where like minded vegetarian/libertarian/cosmopolitan people meet, drink and chat - but do not expect any exquisite food there...
