For the first time I've seen a living octopus and all the fish is living, amazing and absolutely fresh! Actually there was a fish jumping towards me and shocked me. We bought finally buey del mar (5€/kg) and crabs(3€/kg) and robadello (16€/kg)

Really genuine people, the real Portuguese, open, helpful, happy and direct. You cannot get a better deal wherever you go for real fresh fish, the one that still comes from the sea... Each counter of this market is actually the point of sale of a boat. Small boats that arrive each morning around 07 am and expose their fish directly on the counter. Real fish and still alive is a luxury... And this place makes it affordable

O peixe quando é fresco, é magnífico. Mas a maioria dos vendedores mistura o peixe do dia com o dos dias anteriores. Só confio numa das vendedoras (D.Graça)

Peixe mais fresco é impossivel... os barcos mal atracam e ja esta a ser vendido ainda vivo.
