This is a not a place I would recommend. The fried calamari rings did not taste like calamari, perhaps been frozen for tooo long. We set near the bar as the place is very compact, but we could smell the toilet. N had a glimpse of the guy making the sangria. My God. He put so many syrups n coloring. I guess that is a lazy way for making a sangria.

밑에 분 글 보고도 갔는데
밑에 분 말 그대로입니다 얇은 스테이크에 후추 듬뿍..
사진들 보면 맛있어 보이는데 여기 3개월전레 메뉴가 싹 바뀌었다고 점원이 그러네요
아마 주인이 바뀐게 아닐까 합니다
리조또도 없고.. 예전사진들 보고 가지 마세요 전혀 다른 식당입니다

Sehr schönes und gutes Lokal. Die Bedienung war freundlich und sehr bemüht. Der Lachs, so wie auch der Wein nach Empfehlung des Hauses wirklich super!

스테이크는 후추 폭탄이었고 고기 두께는 포를 떠 놓은 것처럼 얇았습니다
같이 나온 볶음밥은 발리 짬뿌르보다 맛이 없었고
대구 요리는 니 맛도 내맛도 아닌 생선 살 맛에 오일에 절여있었습니다
식전 빵이 제일 맛있었습니다
불타는 초리조는 짜고 돈주고 사먹지 않아도 되는 맛
스테이크가 충격적으로 얇아서 더이상 할 말이 없는 곳

Moelas muito saborosas, com um molho delicioso. O Bacalhau à Braga é uma dose bem servida, com o bacalhau crocante e batatas estaladiças, realmente muito bom. Recomendo e certamente voltarei.

Sitio acogedor, con buen ambiente y muy tranquilo. Personal muy atento y cercano. La mujer que nos atendió era un encanto. La comida estaba muy buena, aunque la "francesinha" nos pareció un poco fuerte. Sitio recomendable.

Wir waren zu fünft dort und es hat uns allen sehr, sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war vorzüglich. Die Getränke-Auswahl sehr facettenreich. Beste Qualität zu moderaten Preisen. Unser Kellner war authentisch freundlich. Die Chefin war sehr angenehm und kann stolz auf ihr Team und Restaurant sein. Ich kann es allen nur empfehlen. Wenn wir wieder nach Porto kommen, werden wir dieses Restaurant definitiv besuchen. Klasse!

Schitterende design. Fantastische bediening. Ik vroeg een 7up en die hadden ze niet Maar ze geven een alternatief en mocht die proeven. Het was lekker en toen ik de alternatief nam kreeg ik het drankje er bij. De tomatensoep is heer en zelfgemaakt. De bediening is super aardig en attent. Laten je proeven enzo. Het eten is verder goed. Het interieur is origineel met zwart wit geverfde kratjes als plafond. ZEKER EEN AANRADER ALS JE IN PORTO BENT

Nous nous sommes fiés aux avis avec une note de 4,6 !!!! Vraiment ça ne les vaut pas .... Une affaire plus tapas que restaurant... Une deco très mediocre .... Pareil pour le service ! Un responsable qui sent l'acooll et qui se force a être sympathique ... Bref ! Le vin et porto etaient tres bons sauf pour le reste ... Un filet de poulet pané sauce gorgonzola pas terrible bien que le serveur nous ait garanti que le plat était bien equilibré dans un bon francais ! Je n'y retournerai pas c'est sur ...

Good price to quality ratio. I recommend to try salmon with maracuja sauce - delicious combination. We also had octopus tentacle, which was a bit expensive, but tender and of a good taste.

Pedi um bacalhau há Braga até estava bem servido e bem temperado o senão que tinha era muita espinha para uma posta de bacalhau, também pedimos um bife o mesmo bem servido o problema era carne ser dura para os preços que pratica tem que melhorar nas matérias primas não é só levar o dinheiro e servir produtos sem qualidade, e garrafeira também tem preços muito altos para o que é oferecido pedi um vinho tinto papa figos que valor de mercado varia entre 6€ e 8€ foi me cobrado 17€ mais do dobro.

Going around one night I came across this site, with no humble entrance, no posters or personnel at the door calling your attention. Every night of my stay I returned! When you enter, you become part of the family, you are not just a customer with money .. the treatment is close, warm and respectful of people with charisma. The food is carefully prepared, traditional, with its well-tuned nuances without going over anything ... a great job of the chef (which by the way, they gave me to try a new dish / lid .. that I recommend when I'm in the letter .. nachos with different contrasts and textures of flavors ... a delight) ... desserts more to say that the "lime cake" is a delight ... unique that I tried the times I was ... accompanied always good wine and white port in my case ... I never talk about the price ... all that is worth is to enjoy a good table and more.

Uma sangria de espumante divinal! Tapas maravilhosas!
Pedimos tapas e depois 2 pratos do menu para partilhar. No entanto, recomendo vivamente a optarem apenas por uma variedade de tapas para dividir.
Na nossa opinião, as tapas sem dúvida se sobressaíram em comparação com o naco e o peito de frango recheado com alheira.
Ficamos muito satisfeitos!

Fabulous traditional Portuguese restaurant. Best seafood we've had anywhere. Fresh, hot and very flavourful. Prawns in garlic and Clams tapas were out of this world. Very friendly service and they also check that you are ready for the rest of your meal or would like to wait. We've booked again, which I'd never normally do. Gets busy even early in the week so probably worth popping in and reserving a table.

タコがおっきくて、やわらかくてとても美味しい。おっちゃんもとてもフレンドリー。その他の料理もどれもオススメです。
店内の雰囲気もとてもいいです。地元の方が多いような印象があります。値段もリーズナブルで、男性5人で120ユーロくらいでした。大満足です。

Some of the best tapas I have ever had. The owners were welcoming and attentive, not to mention making great food recommendations. The port tonic is another thing to try! Can get quite busy, so make sure to come early.

Loving atmosphere!! We were here for a family dinner: the waitress was lovely with us; together with the beautiful setting of tables and lights in the restaurant, it all felt very cozy but classy at the same time. Large portions at fair prices. Would definitively recommend!

Restaurante muy pequeño y escondido, muy muy agradable, uno de los mejores descubrimientos culinarios que hicimos en Oporto... Y lo encontramos de pura casualidad mientras íbamos a otro sitio!!!
La calidad de la comida es tan indiscutible como la amabilidad de las personas al cargo, los cuales no solo te atienden con una sonrisa siempre si no que además te aconsejan bien dentro de la carta, tus gustos y el hambre que tengas.
Los precios son también estupendos dado que la calidad es bastante alta y, que si los comparamos con otros restaurantes de la ciudad, nos están dando muy buena comida por poco más del dinero que nos costaría cenar en un bar/tasca.
Y para muestra un botón:
Encaixados:
dos entrantes + cerveza y copa de vino + francesinha = 30€ (y la francesinha no pudimos terminarlo entre dos personas de la cantidad que era)
Bareto/tasca de menú del día
Una ensalada+ cerveza y agua + dos platos principales = 28€
El primer día que fuimos, pedimos ensalada + entrante + dos principales + dos postres + dos bebidas + dos copas de Porto = 49€

My wife and I went on our last night in Porto and this was by far the best meal we had in Porto. The service was amazing, after our meal I wanted to hug our waitress like she was my aunt at a family dinner they were so nice. The food was exceptional we had roasted chorizo (presentation alone is worth it). The mixed green salad which I think the tomatoes in Portugal are the best anywhere. And the cod cakes and cod fritters, both really good but I liked the cod cakes a bit better. For our main we shared the Francesihna, and if there was ever a sandwich that was picture worthy it was this one. The taste was so good and so rich but did not leave you feeling too full or bloated, just extremely happy. Would recommend for a special dinner to feel important or because it is affordable, just dinner really. Can’t say enough good things about this place, make a reservation though we saw people walk in and not get a table because they didn’t make a reservation and we laughed because they didn’t know what they were missing.

Encaixados was superb. Salomé, the owner, “Professor” Nuno (our waiter pronounced ‘Nunu’ who also helped with the language) and Laura were all so very welcoming. The food was spectacular, especially the clams and the chicken and pork sausage in filo with Asian pepper glaze (Nuno’s favorite) all knocked our socks off!
But you must get a reservation! So many people wondered by, saw the delight of all patrons and wanted in. To their dismay there was no room for them. We’d got back in a heartbeat... thank you Salomé, Professor Nuno and Laura... and the chef whom we met on the sidewalk when he was on break! Tom and Sarah Martin from Philadelphia PA USA.

Wirklich schöne Atmosphäre. Nette, zuvorkommende Kellner! Leckeres Essen!!
Die Steaks sind wirklich sehr groß! Und zu unserem großen Steak, gab es noch ein Halbes. Uns persönlich hätte eine kleinere Portion locker gereicht, damit nichts zurückgehen muss. :)

Das Essen war gut, Vegetarische Speisen nur teilweise und nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Leider wurden wir an einen sehr kleinen klapperigen Tisch platziert. Auf unsere Getränke mussten wir 20 min warten. Da es im Lokal sehr schnell heiss wurde, wurde immer die Eingangstüre offen gelassen, so sassen wir im Durchzug, nicht sehr angenehm. Für das Auftischen von Brot, Oliven und einer Thunfischpaste die wir nicht bestellt haben wurden dann auf der Rechnung 3 € berechnet.

I don’t have Portuguese family, but after eating here, I feel like I do! With no reservation, they squeezed me in at the bar, and proceeded to deliver perhaps the best meal I ate while in Portugal.
And as an aside — I ran into my waitress, Laura, on the street the next day. She came up to me, remembered my name, and said hello.
Highly recommended!

Excellent restaurant ! Accueilli par un serveur parlant français, nous avons mangé différents tapas (beignets de morue, palourdes et feuilleté de brebis au fruits rouges) ; tout était très bon ! Gardez de la place pour une mousse au chocolat ou une tarte au citron, vous ne le regretterez pas ! Le tout dans une salle bien décorée et des prix dérisoires (en tant que français) pour des tapas !

Getränke und Tapas waren gut. Hähnchen Salat war kalt, Kabeljau war trocken und geschmacklos, Gemüse Suppe fad. Keller diskutiert lauthals was trocken heißen würde und wie in Portugal Kabeljau zubereitet wird. Die Teller gingen voll zurück, die Rechnung kam voll. :(

The food here is delicious and has extremely good pricing. The place is always full, so I would suggest you make reservations before coming.
The prices in Porto are insanely high, but here, you could eat a full meal in under 10 euros.
I usually don’t write reviews, but the people serving us (the owners of the restaurant who seem to be a couple) left an extremely good impression on us. They were extremely attentive and kind. They always seemed to have a genuine smile on their face.
Definitely eating here again!

Bravi, una bellissima esperienza! Passando per caso nella via del locale, leggermente nascosta, da fuori ho notato immediatamente un atmosfera intima che mi ha attratto quasi magneticamente. Non mi sbagliavo, il locale è abbastanza piccolo, ma ben arredato e ben disposto. Essendo pieno ci hanno fatto attendere qualche minuto e così abbiamo potuto notare che anche la cucina è davvero piccola. Staff composto da 5 persone, 2 in cucina e 3 al servizio davvero competenti e disponibili. Dopo pochi minuti ci hanno fatto accomodare e ci hanno servito degli stuzzichini. Abbiamo ordinato un Bacalhau a braga (Trancio di baccalà al forno gratinato con contorno di patate e spinaci) e un Acorda de marisco em pao saloio (piatto tipico di gamberetti e cozze impastati con la mollica del pane e pane che avvolge il piatto) con un a bottiglia di vino bianco consigliata dal cameriere un Vinha d'Ervideira prodotto nel centro sud del Portogallo (il vino con un paio di gradi in più rispetto ai vini italiani, ma davvero buono)
I piatti belli di aspetto e porzioni abbondanti, leggermente troppo condite ma è una caratteristica locale che ho riscontrato in altri posti.
Oltre ai Piatti di pesce, c'erano una buona quantità di piatti di carne e la Francesinha aveva un bellissimo aspetto.
Per concludere una buonissima grappa di Porto consigliata dal proprietario, non potevamo capitare in un posto migliore, il tutto per 51.50€.
Consiglio questo ristorante soprattutto alle coppie o massimo 6 persone, davvero ci siamo trovati molto bene e il servizio è stato eccellente! Se torno a porto, ci tornerò sicuramente.

The service it's overfriendly but I don't know how 200 people reviewed this place with a average of 4.6 The calamares are frozed or reheated, the same are the clams. HORRIBLE ...not average!

Very good restaurant.
The ober was very nice, knew his menu to the bone and knew how to explain it. Made jokes and was funny, gave the overall experience a boost. Food itself was also delicious, very good quality and portions for the prices paid.
English is not the greatest you will hear, but more then understable. However, they are a small place and waiting times tend to increase when it gets busy, which is something I don't mind when your in good company. Don't expect McDonald's quickness, but do expect quality food.

Situado muy cerca de la Biblioteca Lello y la torre de los clérigos se encuentra este pequeño y excelente restaurante.
La atención de los camareros fue buenísima, muy atentos, educados y agradables.
Tuvimos la suerte de conseguir mesa temprano, ya que parece bastante necesario reservar con antelación.
Todo lo que probamos era muy gustoso y tenían muy buenas raciones. Tienen opciones vegetarianas que también son muy aconsejables.
Recomendaremos y volveremos, seguro.

Accueil excellent. Dans la langue de votre choix. Service courtois et soucieux de votre satisfaction. Nous avons mangé le saumon grillé et le rumsteak sauce au 4 fromages. Le tout était excellent. Rapport qualité prix excellent. À y revenir sans hésitation.

Je conseil vraiment aux amoureux de la cuisine Portugaise de faire une halte ici.
Ambiance raffinée, le personnel est attentif et les tapas de très grandes qualités.
Les menus sont en Français et les conseils avisés. Et pour finir les Caipirinhas sont extrêmement biens réalisées

we had to pleasure to stay 1 week in Porto and we enjoyed two times the "kitchen of Encaixados", to experience, it was the best Restaurant in town.

Accueil au top du début à la fin. C'est bon et bien présenté. Poulpe grillée excellent. Au niveau vin, je conseille le blanc Montes Ermos Réserva à 10,00 euros la bouteille. Et en plus, le patron se débrouille très bien en Français!

Süßes Restaurant, toller Service. Es gibt eine Auswahl an regionalen Tapas (Prawns, Roastes Chorizo, Piementos Pedron usw.), Hauptspeisen (Lachs, Ente, diverse Fische usw.) und Dessert. Gute Weinauswahl. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Actually the best food I tried in my vacation in Portugal. Really fair prices and very nice and kind employees. They let you try the wine even if you only want to drink a single glas and they got no problem with explaining every food on the card if you're not sure what it means. The sizes of the food are also very good for what you pay. Can recommend

Très belle endroit charmant où on y mange très bien.
Les plats sont fins et succulents.
Le vin que nous avons choisi ne nous a pas déçu.
