Sentamos no deck e desfrutamos da vista espetacular! O serviço foi muito atencioso e eficiente! Pedimos somente pratos frios que estavam ótimos! Moro na região das melhores carnes do mundo , assim sempre temo ter uma decepção! Vinhos excelentes !

Incroyable expérience gastronomique !
La viande : très bonne et cuisson parfaite.
Les accompagnements : la purée aux truffes est juste magique.
Le service : La serveuse était au petit soins avec nous, vraiment très agréable.
Le cadre : Magnifique restaurant très bien décorer.
Bref je conseille absolument ! Attention a vérifier cependant le budget avant.

Localino con i tavolini all'aperto con vista del Duero e Ribeira di fronte, ha anche una simpatica sala interna in caso di vento. Gentilissimo il cameriere mentre cercavamo di tradurre con lo smartphone il menù. Ottime le crocchette di baccalà e le sardine alla brace.

Sehr gutes Fleisch, Sirloin, Entrecote, Rib Eye etc. Beilagen werden separat berechnet, definitiv sehr, sehr hochpreisig für portugiesische Verhältnisse. Restaurant sehr dunkel, Lichtverhältnisse sehr schlecht, Schriftgröße der Speisekarte viel zu klein, selbst mit Brille, nicht einfach zu lesen. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. 4 Sterne, da viel zu teuer für ein Stück Fleisch mit Beilage!! (Brot & Butter, 2 Steaks & Beilagen, 1 Flasche Wasser, 1 Flasche Rotwein, 1 Dessert, 1 Espresso = € 121,00).

We came for a light lunch. Only had starters and a salad so cannot comment on the steak. Service was pleasant. Nice atmosphere. On reflection a main meal would have been a better choice than the salad which was mainly iceberg lettuce.

NADA ACONSEJABLE. Hacen esperar lo indecible con una atención muy deficiente, por ejemplo 20 minutos de reloj para una sin alcohol u otras bebidas. Ocho camareros en el Restaurante y tienes que llamar repetidamente para que vengan. Dos horas para comer, poniendo platos aisladamente (unos comían, otros veían), tardando en traer cualquier cosa como pan o bebidas. Luego de servir, platos con escasísima cantidad llena de natas y salsas y nada de contenido. Nos levantamos sin postre ni nada por la desidia y la indolencia con nuestras protestas; compartidas con otras dos mesas más de españoles que curiosamente nos dejaron para el final.

On nous a fait attendre 20' le temps de préparé notre table. Viande trop cuite (cuisson non demandée), nerveuse et portion petite. 2h30' sans dessert ni café, alors pourquoi 1 etoile, pour le cadre. Désolé.

Das Servicepersonal lässt die Gäste in der Bar warten, obwohl das Restaurant fast leer ist. Anschliessend kriegt man einen Tisch zugewiesen, der schon vorher leer war. Dann kriegt man die Info, dass die Hälfte der Karte ausgegangen ist und nur noch die teuren Stücke Fleisch zu haben sind. Das Fleisch ist dann auch noch zäh und ungeniessbar. Personal ist nett und bemüht. Der Wein ist super.

I echo Carolina's review of this restaurant. The excessive fat from the Tomahawk ruined our meal. The service however was nice. Charging the bread from the beginning was not a very nice gesture. It would be nice for them to offer bread for free considering how much we are paying for the the meat.

Good location, nice restaurant and very good service. The food although was very poor. My meat was overcooked and 40% fat...and beware: waitress came with 3 breads (without us asking) and they charged us €9 for that...and €9 for a simple lettuce, tomato and onion salad...wouldn't recommend. Also food doesn't seem to be freshly cooked but reheated

We had a very cozy evening. We were served by a very young but very professional waiter ( think he was called Ricardo). The food was nice, only hickup was the bernaise sauce, we got it changed but it was still liquid... but in the end we got offered a glass of porto. We spent 100€ for 2 ( 50 each) wich felt apropriate considering we spent 20 each in other places for very bad food

Son muy atentos y amables, el camarero muy bien, bastante pendientes de la gente y preguntando si todo estaba bien, gran cantidad de gente comiendo, otra cosa es la comida, es de calidad pero me pareció bastante escasa para lo que luego cobran tanto por la comida como por la bebida, me da la sensación de que muchos de los clientes vienen rebotados de otros restaurantes de los alrededores en los que tienes que esperar mucho para entrar a comer.

El menú y la comida, muy sabrosa. Nos ha gustado pues la carne estaba en su punto, aunque no preguntan cómo la quieres, cosa habitual en sitios especializados en carne, como se presupone que es éste. Me ha sorprendido y han acertado creo que de casualidad.
La sopa de entrante y las hamburguesas, muy ricas. Los pinchos y croquetas de carne, también recomendables. Todo lo sirven con huevo frito y patatas fritas!
OJO: El pan (4 bollos para 4 personas), un poco de aceite y dos trozos de mantequilla para untar, salen a 11 eurazos. Si...11 lereles!!
Es un abuso, aunque ya sabemos que eso es asi aqui, pero si pediamos pan, era a 2.75€ por cabeza igualmente, así que...es una PASADA!
En España te ponen el pan regalado, y aquí te calzan lo que un plato normal por un mendrugo...
Total, que 74 euritos para comer, que no es barato, en un sitio más elegante que los que hay en la zona...
Hay que ir un poco pronto. A partir de las 13.30, ha habido una marea de gente entrando, y de estar vacío, a tener que hacer cola...
Tienen una pequeña terraza en el paseo, aunque es muy pequeña, media docena de mesas, casi para parejas por el tamaño que tienen...

Would have say, this is potentially the best steakhouse I've ever eaten at.
Amazing cuts of beef cooked to perfection with quite simply the most amazing sauces and side dishes I've seen here and in the uk.
Service team were super attentive and the cocktail selection extensive as was the wine and Port(obviously).
Recommend sharing unless you've got a big appetite. Special thanks to Rita and Paula for making our evening very special.

Parada obligatoria en Oporto si te gusta la carne y cenar en un lugar tranquilo. En la ribera del Duero, uno de los mejores restaurantes de la ciudad.
Tanto la persona encargada, Ana, como todo su equipo, camareros y cocineros, son muy atentos y amables creando un ambiente muy acogedor para tener una velada en familia tranquilamente. Hemos ido 4 adultos y un niño de un año y el servicio de 10. Nuestro hijo se ha sentido como en casa.
He leído las reseñas con baja puntuación y no las comparto, nunca hemos tenido una mala experiencia a pesar de ir varias veces a cenar allí.

Massive let down! After having one of the best dining experiences ever at the Lisbon restaurant I cannot believe this is owned by the same people. Service massively sub standard with very little knowledge of the menu. The staff were friendly enough but distant, once my meal was served they were not seen again till I asked for the bill. When the bill arrived they tried to charge me twice, paying for one steak was bad enough. The lighting outside was non existent as you can see from the picture. My steak was full of fat but I was not asked once how my meal was. I suggest sending your staff down to Lisbon to train in service as the staff at this venue are out of their depth. I hope the management take this review in the right was as they will see from my Lisbon review, I don't just leave bad ones. Left feeling ripped off!

Porém a refeição, foi um desastre, de 4 pedidos, somente um estava comivel.
Alimentos com gosto de congelado.
Deixamos os pratos , de € 38,00 inteiros, mas a cheff nos mandou uma cortesia de batata fritas ???! Enfim sugiro apenas p um bom vinho ou provar a tradicional " francesinha".
Oliva e o pai servidos de entrada, uma delícia!!!

We tried to get a table at 2pm on a thursday, half the tables were empty it was a 10 mins wait for our presence to be acknowledged and then we were told it would be a 30 mins wait. We asked if we could have a drink at the bar, no it was shut, if we wanted a drink we could have beer but not wine. Maybe i expect too much, but it is generally much nicer if a restaurant tells you what they can do for you, not what they can't.

Abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino del Douro per 21 euro ma a fine serata abbiamo avuto una brutta sorpresa. Sul conto era diventata improvvisamente di 55 Euro. Abbiamo fatto notare l'errore e si sono scusato dicendo che avevano sbagliato e che il prezzo era di 40. Abbiamo insistito che era 21, ma stranamente dalla carta dei vini, composta da fogli volanti, era scomparsa la pagina che ci interessava. Di una stella perché non si può dare di meno, altrimenti darei meno una stella

Great location right next to the river, and we really enjoyed our visit until the bombshell when the bill arrived.
As a result, and sadly, I actually left feeling somewhat ripped off (overcharged).
The food was really good, and the lady who attended us was very friendly.
The traditional local dish of Francesinha was definitely worth ordering.
However, a word of caution, be very careful if you decide to order a glass of port.
I was charged an astonishing 24Euros for two very small glasses of Taylor's 10 year-old port. I queried the charge but was informed that was the price, even though you can buy an entire bottle online for the same price.
It certainly took the edge off what had been a nice visit up until that point.

Es una lástima no poder poner 0 estrellas. Estábamos paseando por la Ribeira y la verdad es que nos pareció un sitio muy acogedor y bien decorado, así que decidimos entrar, nos ignoraron completamente durante unos minutos, éramos un grupo de 7, es decir, se nos veía muy, muy bien. Tras esperar un rato y ver que ni la encargada ni ninguno de los tres camareros que estaban a nuestro lado nos hacían ningún caso, ni siquiera un saludo o un "disculpen", se me ocurrió decir "Hola", en ese mismo instante una muy antipática encargada se giró y en voz alta se limitó a gritar nos: "Un momento!". Evidentemente, nos fuimos y decidí escribir esta reseña. Hay muy buenas alternativas en la zona, no entréis!

Ce restaurant a été une mauvaise expérience pour moi et ma famille.
D'abord nous sommes arrivés et avons demandé une table pour 9, la serveuse nous dis qu'elle va voir si c'est possible alors que le restaurant est vide...
Ensuite, nous commandons, une entrecôte, il n'y en a plus, un steack tartare, il n'y en a plus... D'accord on se rabat sur les burgers.
Les plats arrivent et toujours pas de boissons, nous avons dû les commander deux fois.
Les burgers n'étaient pas très bons, nous en avons fait part au serveur et celui ci nous dis que nous n'aurions pas du les prendre car ce n'est pas terrible... ok
Et pour terminer, au moment de payer, nous vérifions l'addition et il y avait des choses que nous n'avions ni commandé ni mangé...
Donc restaurant à ne pas recommander pour ma part.

Llegamos a las 20:45 nos ofrecieron pasar al bar para esperar mesa y que tardarían entre 10 y 15 minutos. Había cuatro familias antes de nosotros. Después de esperar 40 minutos nos ofrecieron una mesa con vistas espectaculared en la terraza que llevaba vacía desde que entramos pero según ellos era para "reservas".
La carta disponía de entrantes los cuales la mitad estaban agotados y platos especiales. Y luego había segundos platos de carnes, que los tres más baratos estaban agotados y tuvimos que cojer la cara que valía 33€ (solomillo macerado en 60 días) y que estaba muy bueno.
Nos entregaron la comida a las 22:20.
El risotto y el solomillo estaban de 10.

La verdad es que por la decoración del restaurante pensábamos que era algo de otra época o no se encajar muy bien la oferta gastronómica con el decorado, no se entiende. El servicio fue excelente por parte de las camareras, muy atentas a todo. La comida estaba bien presentada pero fue de una calidad bastante baja. El bistec estaba lleno de nervios y no estaba excesivamente bien preparado. Aún así no fue una mala experiencia. Es cierto que no está bien calidad/precio... Pero resumiendo no volvería.

Lugar muy acogedor y elegante en el que se puede disfrutar de infinidad de carnes a la parrilla de la mejor calidad, guarniciones y salsas totalmente caseras. Servicio impecable, atentos en todo momento, muy amables y profesionales.
Fuimos por recomendación de unos familiares que ya habían ido en más ocasiones y la experiencia fue inmejorable.

Deixou bastante a desejar...
A comida estava fria, o que para carne mal passada não abona nada a seu favor.
Funcionários com hora marcada para sair e fizeram questão de o evidenciar.
Arrumaram a sala enquanto jantávamos...
Levantaram pratos sem que todas as pessoas tivessem terminado a sua refeição...
Enfim, o que já foi e no que se transformou....

Came in at standed for 15 minutes without being acknowlaged by the staff. We had a reservation but restaurant seemed empty. Maybe they didn't like us coming with our 4 year old son. We even saw a manager walking by training the staff. Perhaps some should train the staff to greet people waiting.

Dinner and lunch very different....
A complex restaurant to evaluate.
The first point is that it is very different on the lunch and dinner menu. In fact, at lunch the choices are smaller, and you may risk NOT having your choice, which is strange in such a restaurant.
Specially are meats, which are usually of very good quality. Food confection is careful, but sometimes did not really tick as it should in such a reputable place. In particular the "francesinha" is quite different from the national style, and maybe interesting change for connoisseurs, but really not adequate for newcomers to the dish.
Location is great, and you actually have three different doors to reach the restaurant, which may be confusing. For foreigners, best to come by the river side, and even stay on the balcony.
Service is very good (dinner) / quite good (lunch).
Overall the grade is something between a 3 and a 4.5, depending on dinner or lunch, so it got a 4 in the end....

The food was disappointing. We sent back the first dish to the kitchen. The meat was not good. They replaced it with another dish that was acceptable but price vs quality was bad.

El ambiente es agradable pero el servicio es muy lento incluso para cobrar. La carne demasiado hecha y no porque lo hayamos pedido así, lo han asumido sin preguntarnos el punto de cocción de la misma. Además de tardar ha llegado fría.

Carne estupenda, el carpaccio riquísimo, el pan delicioso lo sirven con unas mantequilla de distintos sabores muy ricas. Los postres muy buenos.
La atención fantástica.
Por poner una pega nos hicieron esperar un poco demasiado por una mesa, pero nos tomamos un vino en la zona del bar y después la cena mereció la pena.
Un poco más caro que la media pero merece la pena

Well, let me put this way: the staff is very gentle and attentive. But if you want to eat a good steak, go somewhere else. They claim to be "meat specialists", but it doesn't seem to be the case. Overpriced and "much less than you expect" considering the "glamour"... I've ordered a rib eye and nearly half of it was just fat... disappointing.

I would have given this 5 stars as I went there alone yesterday evening and received good service and a lovely 3 course meal. However, today (Wednesday evening in October) I returned with me colleague and we were told that we would have to wait 5-10 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was quiet. We asked if we could order while we waited and were told that we couldn't as the wait was for the kitchen. We left and went elsewhere.

Try cecina for starter. It is amazing. The bread is great. The tomahawk ribeye is definately a must have for all Meat lovers. It is expensive but if you love Meat you have to try It. The deserts are also very good. The service is outsanding. They help you to choose the best menu according to your personal taste.

International meat restaurant
An interesting restaurant for meat, with one of the best meat cuts in Porto. The entries are a pleasure (specially the mushrooms) and the wine list is reasonable (although expensive by portuguese standards).
Given the price range, not many portuguese around, and the music and environment are of a distinct international flavor.
Note: the address presented is the hotel entry - the restaurant has street doors directly both to the "Cais" and to the "rua Fonte Taurina").

Excelente lugar para una velada especial. Muy buen punto en las carnes y exquisitas guarniciones muy bien condimentadas y aliñadas. Postre muy rico, recomiendo el que llaman chocolate al oporto. Esmerada atención, se agradece que te expliquen todos los ingredientes y procesos de elaboración de los platos. Íbamos sin reserva y tuvimos que esperar en la zona del bar tomando un margarita bien preparado. Tienen una carta de cockteles bastante interesante. El precio aunque elevado está acorde con la calidad del producto y elaboraciones así como con el servicio y atención que dispensan.

Wonderful food, truly an experience of its own to eat there. The prices are relatively stiff, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it.
Waiting times, along with the personel, are both exceptionally good.

Barely average! The front of house kept us waiting to start as she, as most do have power way beyond any world leader! After she confirmed our reservation we were seated in a very pleasant dining room. Of course we all ordered steaks. All different cuts and all medium rare. But not one was tender melt in your mouth. If you get one thing right. It's the steaks! We also all said it was luke warm and creamy mash truffle potatoes were worked well beyond mash. So we all left disappointed. The service on the table was friendly and professional

Service is top, food is perfection and the ambiance is right for any occasion. We dined twice this week, Ricardo and Pedro were very attentive, knowledgeable and honest on what's the best to order. I ordered the loin steak both times and it was delicious. I love the option of choosing your salt to flavor your steak. I recommend it and recommend the eggplant as a side it's definitely not your typical style and will surprise your tastbuds. There's a view of the Douro River and Gaia outside and beautiful decor inside. Totally recommend this place and will definitely be returning!

My fiancé and I had an excellent experience here. Our waiter Rui Pedro was professional, efficient and attentive. The food was equally amazing. I definitely recommend the meat croquettes for starters! Whatever was in that sauce was pure divine. The restaurant is located right on the waterfront by the Ponte Luis I bridge so regardless if you're with your significant other or friends, the view and ambience, especially at night, was EVERYTHING!!!

Amazing steak prepared In required temperature. We ordered aged rib eye steak in medium rare and loved it. Service is top notch. Great wine selections. Also tried their mushrooms risotto and it was delicious and for appetizer ordered theirs mushrooms in egg sause and definitely recommend to try. Definitely good price for the value. Definitely highly recommend for a great steak

O atendimento foi muito bom mas por três vezes tive que enviar meu lombo para a cozinha porque estava frio e voltou por três vezes na mesma temperatura.

Found RIB Beef & Wine when I was just walking around the area and had a lovely meal there. I had to wait for my table in the bar for 15 minutes before I was seated. I think the staff could tend a little bit more to their customers (there is a lot of waiting for menu, taking order but the food it self came quickly) but otherwise everything was really nice. Had great food for a reasonable price. You select your meat, sauce and side order. It is mainly a beef restaurant but they have burger and tuna as well and some other non beef dishes.
If you are in Porto I can recommend this place. Great service as well and if Claudia works as DJ you will have great music as well. She really made my day.
