Cool place! Typical Porto with funky interior. Outstanding views. Fantastic place to get away from it all and relax and enjoy a nice glass of wine. These are the bars to see as a tourist

Proprietario molto gentile e a modo! Prezzi medio-alti..

Hidden gem in Porto. Modest decoration but heart-warming delicious food prepared with top-shelf ingredients and pure love. The waiter was extremely meticulous and professional; the best service we received in Lisbon and Porto combined. Only bummer is the size of the meals that were small with the price tag of a big meal. Bring cash because they don’t have card terminals. Strongly suggest the wild shrimps with mango and coconut!

Hidden gem of porto, great food. Greatest service. Price quality is top notch. Great music. We stumbled in here by accident and we will come back tomorrow

This restaurant is a gem. I found it while out exploring Porto. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. I tried the oysters and the mussels as appetizers and the shrimp curry with mango for my main meal. I've only ever had oysters that I felt like I had to top off with hot sauce. These though we're so fresh and had just the right saltiness to them. Every bite of each part of the meal was mouth watering. I also had green wine which j had never heard of before. Sweet and smooth and perfect for me. It's a nice intimate restaurant. Pedro was wonderful and made it a very pleasant dining experience!

Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert.

In 4 abbiamo speso 100 euro.

My friends and I, a party of five, didn't do our research which should have told us that every decent restaurant in Portugal will need a reservation for dinner. Of course as we venture at 9p no one could accommodate us. While looking for any place to eat we stumble across COMETA in quiet corner of Porto. At first we were skeptical to enter since no one was there during the peak of dinner rush but we had slim pickings in our options. We took a chance and we couldn't ask for more. First we were greeted by Pietro, an amazing server and host. He was friendly, attentive and gave us top notch 5 star Michelin rated restaurant table service. We went to a well known restaurant in a previous city and that server didn't have anything on Pietro. Since he was the only one manning the restaurant, bust boy-runner-server, he tried to keep up when more patrons arrived. We didn't hold it against him he was working his tail feather off. In regards to food, we were all pleasantly surprised. The table bread was fresh. Some of the dishes had an Indian flare with the spices used. There was one dish that wasn't available but there were still more options to chose from. My friend had some oysters to start and she claims they were one of the best she's had and had to get seconds. I had the shrimp which was excellent. Another had the squid rice which was delicious. The ravioli was great but I can't recall the name of fried meat empanada like concoction we had for appetizer regardless it was also delicious. Overall if you want to avoid the hassle of waiting and hoping to get a table for dinner rush. Go to COMETA's you won't be disappointed. Saudé!

The only unfortunate thing about our visit here was that we weren't hungry enough to order a complete menu since everything we got was amazing, including the chestmut soup, the tuna tatare and the chocolate cake. Indeed, Piedro is very attentive to your needs and things you'd never ever think of. Pricing appears completely reasonable. Pretty hard not to feel comfortable in here.

One of the best meals I've had in Portugal. The chestnut soup was especially memorable, but the entire meal was savory and inventive.

Comida tradicional y trato cercano. Comida para llevar y próxima a nuestro hotel.

Piedro treated us to a warm romantic evening at his lovely little bistro. Every effort was made to give us a very good meal served with care and attention to detail. Modern wine goblets were filled to the brim with excellent Douro vino tinto. Fresh warm bread with tasty olives were served at no charge. Jazzy Sitar filled the room as we enjoyed our generous entradas. My organic burger (bunless) served simply with sweet warm onions and salad was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I savoured every last crumble. Dessert, Port and the price were all quite good! Thanks Piedro.

Piedro's care and attention to detail made this a very pleasant meal. A little bit upscale - but the quality of the food warranted the prices. The fish soup was the best I've had in Portugal so far - a light flavourful broth with lots of fish and shellfish. A seat by the window with a cool evening breeze was refreshing after climbing the many, many steps up from the river!

Spectacularly bad food. I had the Goan Duck Curry--the duck tasted like fish and the curry...was it curry? I'm honestly not sure. To be fair, some of the other dishes we ordered were merely *disappointing* as opposed to inedible. Servings are tiny as if they are on some kind of avant-garde, molecular gastronomy trip, minus the culinary expertise. I would be slightly more understanding if at least they priced their extremely bad food reasonably, but on top of it all, the place is way too expensive. On the plus side, location is great, wine is good, staff is LOVELY, decor is charming and a bit eccentric.

EXCELENTE!.
