I loved the choice available in the store and on line. The staff were most helpful and I was able to find everything I was looking for. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone wanting to furnish their place in Portugal, hassle free.

Friendly and helpful staff. Pity that the advertised stock on the website is not accurate. We came for a specific item that showed on stock, but it was not. We'll come back in May.

We have been very pleased with the excellent service from Abode, Recently purchased a sofa -bed and 2 seater sofa. Sofia gave us good advice and helped us to choose the right suite. She also made sure it was delivered on schedule, (delivered on Wednesday before we were leaving on Saturday). The delivery men were also very good at removing our old suite and setting up the new one. All the packaging was removed and taken away and they made sure we were happy with the suite before they left. We are on the second floor and so they had to bring each sofa up the stairs which was quite a trek. Thank you all for the sale and the smooth delivery. We have purchased from you before and we will continue to do so.

We have recently completed our second furniture design and install with Emma and Abode Furniture, and we couldn’t be happier. As international clients it was so important for us to be able to find someone who we could trust, who would help furnish our new home, and we definitely found that with Emma. We were immediately impressed by her knowledge and her friendliness on the phone, and we knew then that we had made the right decision. When we finally met with Emma at the showroom, she helped us finalize all of the details and made the experience both stress free and exciting! The team at Abode were amazing when we were furnishing our house. From sitting with Elizabeth and going through fabrics, colours and design ideas to delivery and installation from a fantastic team. Their catalogue ranges were amazing with items coming from Spain, England and of course Portugal. Their friendliness, professionalism and assistance made everything so easy. I had no hesitation using them on another project which went as smoothly as the first.

Overall we were very impressed with Abode who outfitted our townhouse in Cabanas de Tavira, Portugal. The entire process was handled remotely as we live in Canada. Emma was incredible...stylish, detailed and organized! She starts by asking your tastes then provides a room by room solution. From there we used Abode's website to fine tune the design. Ordering was seamless and the install team was fast, organized and left our home clean. The only reason preventing a 5 star rating was the fact we did not receive the loungers we expected and Abode's supplier would not exchange them. Other than that Abode is top notch, offering great quality furniture and curated service from design to install.

Abode has become my first choice when looking for new furniture. Purchased a few items on different occasions incl BBQ, dinning furniture and mattresses, all of very good quality. Excellent range, helpful staff and nothing is too much trouble. They even offered to collect an old bed/base set we couldn’t sell a few weeks after they delivered our new mattress. Highly recommended!

We ordered a number of furniture items for our new house but unfortunately a wooden chair developed a crack in the seat. When I advised the sales person at Abode, she offered a replacement straight away. Thanks for making a difficult conversation easy.

A terrible store that is run by people who do not know their own products. The sofa and love seat I ordered arrived with fabric that did not match the supplied photo. (They refused to provide swatches.) In addition, the workmanship was poor--crooked seams everywhere. Save your money and just buy something at Ikea. You will get superior quality at half the price.

What a shame. Such a great welcome in the Shop AND by phone, Liz is wonderfully professional and knowledgeable about her furniture. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Furniture GREAT QUALITY. But WHAT A SHAME ABOUT THE STORE/PACKING/ORDERING /DELIVERY TEAM... errors in the assembly, not the correct WIRES between TV and DVD player, no cables for the lights... and to finish it all off - the place was left a mess. Make sure you mention our review and i'm sure you'll be entirely satisfied, as far as we are concerned, it was not WHITE GLOVE service from beginning to end and stipulated on their website. Very DISAPPOINTED client (sorry Liz). please find enclosed some photos !

I cannot thank the staff of Abode enough for their patients and assistance in their store. The delivery staff were amazing, nothing is to much trouble. My furniture was delivered and placed where I requested and they took away all packaging. The guys measured up for my curtain poles, curtains and blinds for future delivery and they will also put them up.

Nas minhas férias no Algarve descubri esta loja, por acaso, e ao visitá-la e ver a vasta gama de opções de mobiliário que tinham disponíveis percebi que era o sítio ideal para mobilar a minha casa para arrendar em Porto Covo. Foram-me apresentados os diferentes pacotes de mobiliário que englobavam tudo o que era necessário para mobilar uma casa completa e foi fácil escolher o meu, tendo em conta o meu orçamento e ser uma propriedade para investimento. Preocupou-me o facto de apenas ter mais 2 dias em Lagos para poder decidir tudo mas as vendedoras fizeram um trabalho verdadeiramente impressionante, apresentando opções de um dia para o outro. Os pormenores que ficaram por ajustar foram facilmente discutidos por telefone e por email. Também me preocupou que a entrega dos produtos não fosse feita a tempo, e já tinha reservas para arrendar a casa no final do mês seguinte, mas fiquei agradavelmente surpreendida quando fui informada que tudo estaria pronto com bastante tempo de antecedência. Não pude estar presente na entrega, então a equipa de entregas foi buscar a chave ao meu trabalho e devolveu-me quando a instalação já estava terminada. Enviaram-me fotos do resultado final e quando fui ver pessoalmente tinha uma casa pronta para arrendar. Um serviço que dificilmente se encontra noutra empresa do mesmo ramo.

Je voudrais remercier toute l'équipe Abode pour le professionnalisme et la convivialité dès la première approche jusqu'à la livraison. Les vendeuses étaient implacables dans la recherche des produits que nous recherchions (et nous voulions des choses très spécifiques!) Elles ont montré une connaissance impressionnante donnant des conseils importants sur ce qui convenait à notre espace. L'équipe de livraison s'est présentée le jour prévu, le matin comme nous l'avions demandé, et nous avons pu voir la grande expérience qu'ils ont dans ce qu'ils faisaient, ils étaient très rapides et efficaces et ils nous parlaient toujours avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d'humour. Ils ont assemblé tous les produits et enlevé tous les paquets. La maison était prête à utiliser! J'ai adoré l'expérience et je vais certainement recommander Abode.

I ordered two hand made three seater Sofas from Abode, The delivery time given was eight weeks. Their price was acceptable for the Quailty was fine. The Two Sofas landed a week earlier than expected and the deliverey was on time and we couldn't be more pleased with our purchase. I would recommend Abode to any body looking for a quality modern Sofa. 10 out of 10 for Service and the helpful staff working for the company

We were looking for somewhere where we could order furniture and have it delivered and setup in our Portuguese house whilst remaining in the UK. Abode Furniture did all this for us and when we finally got to see everything in situ, were very happy with the result. Would highly recommend this company.
