Estive no restaurante em novembro do ano passado. Certamente foi a melhor experiência culinária que experimentei no Porto, além de um atendimento de excelência. O nível das massas está acima dos padrões de restaurantes italianos recomendados pelo google e pelo tripadvisor. Para quem aprecia vinho, é possível inclusive adquirir um oxigenador.
Recomendo totalmente.

Friendly service, seafood pasta was good. Lasagna was ok. Pricy for Porto, but quality of the ingredients justify the price. The manager, Elsa was very good handling our complaint about salad.without argument, she brought another one, which was much better than the original one.

Heerlijk gegeten voor een zeer eerlijke prijs. Personeel heeft ook ruime kennis over het eten dat wordt aangeboden en de cocktails/wijnen,... Topzaak!

One of the best experiences I have had in Porto. The cuisine is mostly Italian style, with Spanish and Portuguese influences. Service is great from start to finish: the staff is super friendly and the owners are closely there with you, explaining the menu and their amazing wines. I especially liked the tiramisu as a dessert. I recommend booking a table, because it's a small place. Worth your visit!!

You like Italian food ? I do, and I loved this place.
Nice people quite skilled with language, very helpful, not so expensive dishes for a place of that standing.
I took the marinated pork, a blast ! The desert are also wonderful.
Go there without a second thought. If you are on the high season or plan to eat late, you should probably book a table.

Do tej tej restauracji trafiliśmy przez pomyłkę. Dopiero jak podano nam kartę menu zorientowaliśmy się, że nie o to chodziło. Jednak obsługa była tak miła à my głodni, że zdecydowaliśmy się zostać. I warto było. Dania pyszne, wytwornie podane. Pyszna włoska kuchnia. Właściciel osobiście podchodził i opowiadał o potrawach - bardzo miły akcent. Cena adekwatna do jakości, miejsca i serwisu. Z tego co się zorientowaliśmy to bez rezerwacji trzeba mieć dużo szczęścia aby się tam dostać. Serdecznie polecam to miejsce bo pysznie. 10/10pkt

Really good Italian food in Porto. Some dishes are a bit expensive (14-16 euros the pasta dish) but worth it. The provolone cheese and the black truffle penne were very tasty. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick. If you like Italian food, don't miss it (but book a table in advance since it's usually quite full).

Ate here last night and can’t say enough about the food and atmosphere. Both outstanding. We had the croquettes to start, the truffle ones were creamy and delicious. I had the truffle oil spaghetti and my husband had the carbonara. So tasty, some of the best food we’ve had on our Portugal trip. The downside was the service which we are assuming may be due to not enough staff. We were seated promptly and shortly after two more tables were seated near us. No one came to our table for 20 minutes while we watched the table to the left and right of us order, receive drinks and even appetizers. I kept politely indicating we were ready and they acknowledged me. Once ordered all was good until the end when the waiter came over and asked if we wanted dessert. We did, he gave us a menu and then never returned for again over 20 minutes while we watched him clear tables, seat tables, take orders and also take and deliver dessert orders to tables next to us. We finally asked the bus person for the check and paid her. We walked by the waiter as we left, he looked at us and didn’t say good bye or anything. We both said that was really unfortunate as the food was delicious but don’t know is we’d return.

This place was mesmerizing. We had a group of 6 plus a baby, and Elsa did an absolutely amazing job taking care of us. She made splendid recommendations, the food was spectacular and Elsa gave us and the baby special treatment. We loved else and loved this place.

I was craving for my pasta like good pasta during my time here and there wasn't many italian restaurants with good reviews near where i stayed. So when I found A Despensa - I was on cloud nine and thank god the food live up to my expectations. We had two dishes of the day - 1 pasta and 1 meat dish and shared a dessert - chocolate cake with ice cream. Everything was good including the service! Keep up the good work!

Fuimos a comer porque nos habían hablado muy bien del sitio. Son bastante agradables. La pega que le pongo es la relación cantidad precio. Pedimos lasaña y un plato especial que nos recomendaron de carne de Porco. Y como segundo plato no estaría mal, pero por el precio que tienen debería de llegar como plato único. Porque si en la carta ves una lasaña por 13.50 euros, lo normal es que quedes lleno. El plato de carne eran tres miniaturas, tres trozos tamaño nugget, 17.50. Decidimos no pedir postre y al salir nos fuimos al Macdonalds que está a 200 metros y nos pedimos dos pedazo postres. Para matar el gustanillo.

We had a great evening at this restaurant last night. It started with a warm greeting and continued with wonderful dishes which were well presented and ended with a great conversation with one of the owners. One small opportunity for improvement : this restaurant and its settings (nice China, beautiful glasses, fine table cloth, delicate serviettes, etc. ) is too good to use menus printed on A4 pages inserted in plastic holders.

근처 숙소에 머무르면서 지나가다 알게된 식당입니다. 늘 사람이 많아서 궁금하여 가 보았는데 엄청 맛있어요. 특히 샐러드 강추합니다. 요리는 무엇을 먹어도 만족스러우실거라 생각하고요, 직원들도 아주 친절하여 기분 좋게 식사할 수 있습니다. 포르투갈 요리가 지겨우실 때쯤 한번 들러보면 좋을 것 같아요 :)

We loved this restaurant! It created a nice atmosphere, the service was the most friendly and professional one we have experienced in Porto and the food was delicious! Tras leer profundamente sobre los mejores restaurantes de Oporto, decidí escoger este para la celebración del cumpleaños de mi pareja por las buenas opiniones que tenía.
Contactamos con ellos por facebook explicándoles que queríamos reservar una mesa para dos personas para el cumpleaños. (Reservamos 5 días antes)
Al llegar (21:25) el jefe del restaurante, muy amablemente nos comentó que nuestra mesa estaba terminando y que nos pasarían lo antes posible.
Tras 5 minutos (puntuales) una camarera nos guió hasta lo que iba a ser nuestra mesa. Atravesamos el comedor donde había una mesa libre. Mi novia, por equivocación, fue a sentarse en ella y la camarera le dijo que esa no era que la siguieramos. Al llegar a la nuestra, nos encontramos con que es una mesa totalmente distinta a las del resto del local; una mesa alta con banquetas altas apartada del resto del restaurante en una especie de pasillo. Nos quedamos en shock, no entendía como después de haber reservado y habiendo concretado que era por un cumpleaños pretendieran sentarnos en esa mesa.
En ese mismo instante le comento a la camarera que esa mesa no nos gusta y que si no puede sentarnos en una mesa normal. Ella me explica en medio portugués, medio español que esas mesas son para personas mas “vieux”. No podía creer lo que me estaba diciendo y simplemente le contesté con un “perdona?”; me volvió a repetir exactamente lo mismo sumado a que esas mesas iban a ser unidas para atender a grupos grandes de personas. Le señalé que si podíamos sentarnos en la única mesa que quedaba libre (en la que se había sentado mi novia por error) y nos dijo que no, que esa iba a ser unida.
No cabíamos en nuestro a sombro, la camarera se marchó y decidimos irnos del restaurante. A la que fuimos a salir nos encontramos con el jefe el cual estaba montando una mesa; como última opción le pregunté antes de salir si podía sentarnos en otra mesa. Amablemente nos ofreció la que estaba montando.
Tras sentarnos, pudimos ver a lo largo de nuestra cena una gran rotación de personas. Gente que se marchaba y gente que llegaba y se sentaban en mesas normales (en ningún momento de la noche unieron mesas), mesas como la que nosotros habíamos pedido al entrar y en las que suponíamos que nos iban a sentar al haber realizado la reserva con tanta antelación para una situación especial.
Tras acabar la cena, tanto mi pareja como yo, teníamos muy presente ese momento desagradable y decidimos comentarlo educadamente con el jefe.
Inicie la conversación con él explicándole como habíamos llegado a conocer el restaurante y le mostré el mensaje de facebook con la intención de que lo leyera. No lo hizo.
Nos explicó que la mesa donde queríamos sentarnos tras habernos ofrecido la mesa alta, estaba reservada (la camarera nos dijo que la iban a juntar con otra), excusó a su trabajadora alegando que no entendía ni hablaba muy bien el español (entendió y entendimos perfectamente lo que habíamos hablado) pero no quise discutirselo.
Más tarde nos dijo que la mesa donde finalmente nos había sentado estaba reservada por un cliente habitual y aún así, nos la había dado a nosotros. ¿y la otra entonces? ¿No estaba también “reservada”? ¿Tenían las otras reservas prioridad frente a la nuestra? ¿No la iban a unir para un grupo?
Tras unos minutos debatiendo, y explicandonos el funcionamiento que siguen para sentar a mesas, nos pidió disculpas. Volvió a repetir que no habíamos entendido a la camarera, que ella no quiso decir eso, y que nos habían ofrecido ese tipo de mesa porque hay muchos jovenes que les gusta la mesa alta.
Experiencia gastronomicamente hablando perfecta, precios baratos, buena presentación de los platos, ambiente correcto, buen vino verde portugués. Servicio a pie de mesa atento. Situación vivida bastante desagradable; no puedo entender que uno de los que se supone ser mejor restaurante de Oporto ofrezca como opción ese tipo de mesa y más cuando se concretó por antelación que era para una celebración. Premetto che vivo a Roma e alcuni piatti tipo : bucatini alla matriciana , li conosco davvero bene.
Ordinato un piatto di bucatini alla matriciana , mi arriva un piatto che non si avvicina nenche lontanamente a una matriciana, ma aveva minimo un etto di cipolla con un sugo di pomodoro dolcissimo e di guanciale o pancetta neanche l'ombra. ...diciamo che hanno rivisto la ricetta in base a gusti del luogo

Abbiamo prenotato per 8 persone per cena. Dato che ci siamo trovati bene ci siamo ritornati anche la sera seguente.
Locale piccolo ma accogliente. Si compone di due sale: la prima adiacente l'ingresso decisamente consigliata, la seconda più fredda, sconsigliabile per periodi invernali, nonostante ci siano ben tre pompe di calore. Schönes Restaurant mit reichlichem Angebot an italienischem Essen. Der Kellner war sehr nett, er sagte uns, das die Oliven und Käse aus Italien kommen. Käseteller als Vorspeise war zwar sehr gut und hat echt toll geschmeckt, allerdings finde ich einen Käseteller für 15 Euro etwas teuer. Allgemein schmeckt das Essen gut, für Portugal sind die Preise über dem Durchschnitt.

Dopo alcuni giorni di soggiorno di vacanza nella bellissima Porto ero stanco di mangiare piatti locali ma soprattutto cercavo, da italiano, la pasta e piatti italiani. Ho cercato in internet inserendo "ristorante italiano in Porto" e mi è apparso questo "a dispensa". Ci siamo recati per prenotare, scoprendo che il titolare era italiano, Daniele e alle 21 siamo andati a cena. Dal principio alla fine era tutto ottimo, piatti particolarissimi e soprattutto ho ritrovato la cucina italiana. Servizio ottimo, piatti ottimi, carta dei vini portoghesi ben assortita, gentilezza del titolare e del personale fanno di questo ristorante una ottima scelta per chi come me voglia mangiare bene. The best place I've been to in Porto! The food was amazing en the staff was really kind. I visited A Despensa with seven friends on the first night of our holiday. They managed to get us a table and we've enjoyed it so much that we went there again on the last evening of our trip. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Can really recommend this place!

Забронировали столик через трипэдвайзер, ровно в 19ч ресторан открыл двери, и к 19:30 ресторан был почти полный (пятница). Все очень понравилось, персонал очень внимательный, закуски и пасты вкусные, и порция не маленькая! Двери в туалет отдельно порадовали

Tout est excellent !!! Du vrai italien à son meilleur .... le service est excellent et nous n’avons trouvé rien à redire sur les plats ... on vous recommande le provolone al forno . Ma femme s’est même blessée et la proprio est arrivée avec une trousse d’urgence et a pris soin de ma femme . Nous avons pris le veau marsala avec patates qui étaient fourrées ... excellent ... on vous le recommande sans hésiter et en plus le service est impeccable !!!

Le restaurant était full à notre arrivée. Une dizaine de personnes attendaient avant nous. Malgré tout , on nous a demandé de patienter et moins de 30 minutes plus tard, nous avions notre table. Tous les membres du personnel étaient très attentionnés bien que la salle soit remplie. Tous nos plats étaient divins. Même la classique lasagne était à tomber. À recommander sans hésiter.

Amazing, cosy and authentic. The food was great and it had a homely feel. Loved the passion showed by the staff when describing the food, and the personal service we received was incredible. Would highly recommend, and their bruschetta for starters (in the picture) was delicious!

I highly recommend this restaurant. We were so impressed by the food and the staff, that we went back twice in a week. The food is really good, from the starters to the desserts. The staff let us taste different wine so we could choose one we liked. The service is excellent!

We were so impressed we went twice in just 4 days. The restaurant is well presented and tidy. The service is impeccable, with all staff very knowledgeable on all of the foods and wines, in both English and Portuguese (although I believe other languages are also spoken fluently by staff). The food is wonderful, very rich and italian but largely using Portuguese ingredients and local produce. I would recommend the Antipasti board (large enough for 3) as a starter, followed by the Burrata. I would return in a heartbeat. My only criticism is the toilets, a little shabby and the gents had a broken door.

This was an OK place, “everything is really good” was he only answer we got when asking for a recommendation and the service apart from one very sweet and nice lady was too on the nose for us. Not everything is good here for sure, I’m sure the pasta isn’t made in-house from the taste.
This would have been a much better experience with some friendlier greeting from the main hosts and also if we had gotten some actual recommendations for what is good. Even a Michelin star restaurant will have “top” dishes.

Zelden werden we zo vriendelijk ontvangen als in dit lekker Italiaans restaurant in hartje Porto. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en kregen veel informatie over de wijn en de gerechten. Als appetizer namen we de bruschetta's, die vlotjes werden aangepast op ons maat gezien ik een notenallergie heb. Bij de wijnkeuze konden we even proeven van de wijnen om dan een definitieve fles te kiezen.
Wij hadden hier een erg gezellige en smaakvolle avond en werden op onze wenken bediend door het vriendelijke personeel.

Sin duda alguna para repetir. Buscábamos un italiano por la zona para tomar algo más conocido. Sitio muy agradable, el trato muy bueno, hablan perfectamente español y nos comento sobre la carta para pedir mejor. You're basically paying usd $16 for a plate of $6 pasta (thanks EUR 1.17)..but the ambience is nice and romantic, and the drinks aren't overpriced. If you can handle that, it's a reasonable switch from standard portuguese fare in the city. Be careful about arriving though... Traffic through the winding one-way streets can be tough, and the pedestrian zones and hills complicate things even more.

Super good service and friendly staff. I could try multiple wines before picking one. Pasta gorgonzola with cacao was an unexpected lovely combination. The young couple that owns it is lovely, hardworking, and truly wonderful people. Get the burrata. It is outstanding. As many others have said, this is a restaurant that actually deserves 5+ stars. 오픈 시간 맞춰 갔는데 예약 없이도 앉을 수 있었다 매장도 화장실도 매우 깔끔하고 편안한 분위기에 직원도 친절하고 음식도 스페인 치고 적당한 시간 안에 나왔다
송아지 고기와 하우스 샐러드, 까르보나라 세 가지 음식에 레몬 셔벗을 후식으로 먹었는데 모두 맛있었다 다만 샐러드 양이 정말 많고 파스타 양도 많아서 여자 둘이 먹기는 힘든 양이었고 파스타는 좀 짠 편. 음식을 쉐어할 거라고 하면 모든 음식을 한 번에 가져다 줄지 묻는데 그게 싫으면 샐러드 먼저 달라고 하면 된다.
포르투갈 치고는 높은 가격대지만 관광지임을 감안하면 괜찮은 편이고 전체적인 맛과 분위기 친절한 서비스 모두 만족스러웠다

송아지 고기랑 트러플 스파게티로 먹었어요, 포르투에 며칠 더 있었다면 다른 메뉴도 먹으러 가봤을 좋은 곳이었어요.

예약하지 않고 갔는데 운이 좋게 남은 두자리중 한자리에 앉을수 있었어요 직원들도 너무 친절하고 인테리어 화장실마저 어쩜 깔끔하던지 별다섯개도 부족하네요 음식은 비프스테이크와 라쟈냐를 시켰어요 너무 맛있었네요 하나도 남기지 않고 쓱쓱 긁어 먹고 왔네요^^ 내일 마지막 여행중 한번 더가려했으나 쉬는 날이라고 하네요~ 여행중에 다들 꼭 가보셨으면 좋겠네요 혼자만 알기 아쉬운 맛집!!!!!

En unas breves vacaciones por Oporto nos topamos de casualidad con el restaurante. Decidimos entrar a ver que tal se comía puesto que la limpieza del local y, sobre todo, la iluminación nos hizo tener curiosidad por conocerlo. Una vez dentro, creo que sea el dueño del establecimiento, nos dijo que esperasemos en la puerta para podernos dar una mesa.
Pasando ya a comentar lo estrictamente culinario del A despensa debo decir que repetimos al día siguiente. Qué pasó entonces? Que tras empezar comiendo los escalopines que estaban realmente sabrosos llegó la hora de atacar a la decepcionante lasaña. Con total sinceridad, me pareció una lasaña precocinada de las que puedes echar en la cesta de la compra. Al preguntarnos el dueño por los platos mi respuesta fue "ésto muy bueno, esto otro..." y se hizo el breve pero tenso silencio. Él contestó de manera un poco altanera que "eso es cuestión de gustos".
Resumiendo: local recomendable, sobre todo por el educado, atento y amable trato de las empleadas del restaurante. La comida elaborada muy buena y la sencilla, como la lasaña, dudosa.

This is the best restaurant you can go to when you're in Oporto! The food is so delicious and it's hard to make a choice from the menu. The owner and his wife run the place and together with the staff, they are the nicest people ever! So so kind and helpfully. Also, they make time for a little chat. We went back the other day because we must tase the other dishes on the menu. And last but not least, the place is beautiful!

A Despensa really hit the spot for our cravings for some Italian food. The spaghetti ao Tartufo was delicious with a nice balance of truffle-infused oil and grand padano cheese-- with perfectly al dente pasta. Our server was very attentive and knew the entire menu really well. Highly recommend this spot for those moments when you just need to "carb up" once in a while!

Excelente!!, la relación calidad precio es muy buena, y tienen platos variados, por mi parte recomiendo los raviolis!!
La atención me pareció muy buena, el personal habla varios idiomas, escuché Francés, Inglés, Castellano e Italiano (Portugués obviamente)
Los postres estaban muy buenos, y los helados caseros estaban geniales.
Fuimos en familia con niños y comimos genial.

Had a wonderful truffle penne and was amazingly tender beef. If u want a classic Italian then this is place. The menu is slightly limited but all the items are high quality and great. VERY RECOMMENDED

A variety of Italian pastas, with some local flavour, at reasonable prices. The owner (Italian) was very personable and helpful. The salads and pastas were really delicious. I would highly recommend this place...as would the other seven in our party.

The restaurant itself seemed nice but our experience was not great. We made a reservation, which ended up being for 10pm, because we were told how great the place was and we wanted to try it while we were in town. When we arrived there was a large group of people outside the door being served drinks so we were making our way past them to the door looking for the hostess /host to check in when a man who we thought was a member of the group having drinks jumped in front of me and said hello. He asked us if he could help us in a slightly annoyed way and I told him we had a reservation and our name which he responded to by saying he didn’t know we had a reservation.....he wasn’t very welcoming. The server walking by him confirmed she had spoken to us and we did have a reservation so in a moment we were shown to a table and given a menu to share. We then waited 20 minutes for a server to greet us who was less than thrilled we were there. She took our drink order and our dinner selections turned and left. We then waited another 15 minutes for her to return with our drinks. 20 minutes after that the same man from earlier said the server thought we wanted to finish our drinks before our meal but we never told her that, in fact we were expecting our food any moment since we declined any appetizer due to the late hour. After spending 1.5 hours waiting for dinner it wasn’t anything to write home about. When we tried to pay and leave the server left the tablet on the table telling us the amount due and never came back. I gave the tablet and cash to another server bussing a nearby table so we could leave. Everyone else got friendly kind service and seemed to be enjoying themselves while we were treated much differently. I would never go back or recommend it to anyone. So disappointed.

El problema fue el segundo plato, pedí tortellinis...me llama muchísimo la atención que pongan unos tortellinis de supermercados (marca Rana) no puedes ofrecer esa comida en ese lugar... decepción total, espero q mejoren ese tema.

Such a nice place to go for dinner in Porto. The ambiance feels really good and welcoming. The staff is very capable and friendly and they speak decent English. We started with delicious Burrata, for Primi we had a Gorgonzola and Cacoa pasts which was out of this world. We finished off with the Farber beans, really nice and fresh dish which I can definately recommend.
Make sure you visit when in Porto!

Great authentic Italian to break the monotony of Portuguese fare. Went with a toddler , without a reservation , and they were very accommodating. The food is delicious, the wine inexpensive , and the service is great.

The service and food are both fabulous. Portions are generous, and the cocktails were great as well. I recommend booking ahead of time if you can as it was very busy however we came at 7pm without a reservation and was seated in the terrace in the back and was grateful we did! The decor was trendy, even the bathrooms were nice.
We had the bruschetta, cheese board and split the seafood pasta and we were more than full!
I would recommend checking this place out.

Very professional but no personal service offered. Despite wanting to use the restroom 4 mins earlier than it was supposed to be, I somehow felt reluctant to ask for it as the door was shut in front of my face informing me that we strictly open at 7pm due to preparations. I wasn't given a min to explain though.
Food quality was good apart from salty baked cheese but not spectacular dishes.

A Despensa ist ein eher feiner Italiener mit dem wir ganz zufrieden waren.
Der Burrata als Vorspeise ist von der Portion her relativ ausgiebig und geschmacklich top.
Als Hauptspeise wählten wir Spaghetti Carbonara und eine Lasagne. Mir war die Lasagne etwas zu „fleischig“ (weniger Teigschichten als gewöhnlich) aber geschmacklich gut.
Service und Ambiente haben gepasst, aber Preis/Leistung empfanden wir etwas überzogen.

Dinner here with my wife on our last night at in Porto. Customer ratings indicated food was very good and certainly did not disappoint. Had great fortune to meet and be served by owner. Um espaço encantador e maravilhoso para comer, localizado seguindo uma estrada discreta , espaço que faz lembrar um jardim sentimo-nos em casa e moderno (Brutal) . Almoço iníciou com umas bruchetas bem preparadas e saborosas, seguindo-se pastas com massa fresca simplesmente divinal!!! Por último as sobremesas muito boas.

Had a nice dinner with my wife. The bruschettas at the beginning were good and fresh, the lasagna was okay and balanced, but they don’t prepare their own pastas so be prepared for a boxed pasta experience.
The carbonara is far from being a carbonara, was lacking character, taste and was very bland.
The services was responsive and good but the ambient was a little bit “cold”.
Would be great to maybe add some warmth into the design, maybe some plants, chill music and a bit more color.
Overall for us was an okay dinner.

Só não dou zero estrelas porque o Google ao me deixa. A comida não vale o dinheiro que se paga, com molho excessivo e que me informaram que demora 3h a fazê-lo quando se eu fosse ao supermercado comprava um igual é só demorava 3 min. As bebidas não muito caras. E o serviço de atendimento excessivo. Para um restaurante se visa ser acolhedor e privado não chegas a poder usufruir nem da privacidade nem do acolhimento.
