This is the place I truly miss. The cozyness of the bar plus the easy-going atmosphere created by Marco, the ever attentive owner. When this quarantine is over this is where I will drink a glass of red wine and enjoy togetherness once again.

D'Época is located in the heart of Porto, I like to go there for a wine in the early evening. The owner, Marco, is very friendly and attentive, with him I learned, in practice, to appreciate several Portuguese wines. The other products are fresh and delicious. It is a good place to go alone, too, everyone leaves there with at least Marco as a friend, because he is very dear.

Recomiendo! Un sitio para relajarse y probar vinos de toda las regiones de Portugal. El dueño (Marco) es súper simpático y enseña las variedades de uvas portuguesas.

I came here by myself while I was traveling through Portugal and had an amazing experience. The owner was in the middle of a wine tasting with another party so I was able to listen in and he seemed really knowledgeable and passionate about wine. He was also able to teach me about the wine regions in Portugal and stuff too since it was a slower night at the restaurant. It was an overall great experience and the wines and meat and cheese plate were delicious.

Marco, the owner explained us all about the Portuguese wine. Even though we we're amateurs regarding wine, he made the descriptions simple and recommend us some wines that were better then anything I tasted before. It's also a newly opened place, I can truly call it an undiscovered gem in Porto. Porto is great, and this place is yhe best!

The best place to be inside of the city but at same time be away from the buzz ... Quiet ... Calm... Relaxing ...intimate ... Excellent for dating ... Talk ... Just enjoy life ! Congrats to the owner

Highly recommended (don't usually write reviews on Google). A great place to discover Portuguese wine with a very knowledgeable and attentive owner, Marco. Would have stayed much longer had we not had a dinner reservation to go to, will most certainly be back!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Der Besitzer Marco gibt einem ein tollen Einblick über die Weinlandkarte Portugals und das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Da bleibt man gerne mal länger als gedacht, auch weil es nicht in der Haupttouristenzone liegt und somit einen schönen Exklusivitätsfaktor hat.

D’Epoca, a hidden gem in the city center!! We had a very enjoyable experience that is cozy and fun. Marco, the owner of this charming bar brings his passion, energy and knowledge about wines to life. From the start we were introduced to all types of local food and drinks specialties from the region. Marco explained to us the different wine regions in Portugal and the unique characteristics of the different Portuguese wines. From there on we went into a Porto tasting experience with a nice local cheese and meat accompaniment. We had great conversation, laughs and also met interesting people in the bar from different countries. Overall, I highly recommend spending sometime during your trip to Porto, Marco will ensure you will have fun !

DEPOCA wine is a wonderful and cozy place in Porto. Marco the owner is a wine expert and provides really interesting insights regarding Porto wines. If you are interested in getting to know more about wines coming from the different regions of Portugal this is the place for you. The atmosphere is very friendly and social. I had a wonderful experience here! I also recommend teying the Alheira. Its a local traditional sausage. The Casa version of it is made of a mix of pork, boar and rabbit meat. Its really good! My favourite. This is a ppace where u cam get the ultimate wine culture experience. I highly recommend.

We just went in for a small snack and spend two hours. The knowledge of the owner about wine is amazing and he‘s willing to share. A visit is absolutely worthy!
