Perfect! The building is an old house from 1600-1700 restored and transformed in a boutique hotel in a very clever way. The location is perfect and the rooms are spacious beautiful and clean. The bed and the sheets are whatever you need for a great sleep. The real asset of the business is the personnel. Nuno and Marianne at front desk are really helpful and warm, and the lady that prepares the breakfast (that I do not remember her name) is very sweet... not to mention that the quality of the breakfast is really very high. A big bravo from me and for sure if I go to Porto again I'll just book at Mo House.

Beautifully restored house in old part of city, street is quiet but easy walk to all tourist attractions. Roomsat the back look out to the river. Excellent breakfast. Also liked having kitchenette. We had room above breakfast room, so if you want to sleep after 8, then this is not the room for you. It didn’t bother us.

From the moment you step from the cobbled streets into the hotel you get a feeling of quaint, classy, boutique hotel.The decor throughout is beautiful and the room was spacious and bright, with big doors that opened wide to reveal the views over the rooftops and river.Breakfast was great and the staff are so friendly and helpful.Super location within walking distance of great cafes, restaurants and bars, or take a bus to the beach.Highly recommended.

Came to Porto as part of our honeymoon trip and absolutely loved the city, the hotel was great! Room with a kitchenette, beautiful view of the city, breakfast was delicious, friendly staff... etc! Highly recommended

Wonderful stay at the Mo House! They go above and beyond any other guest house Ive stayed.The room was fabulous, the view incredible and the breakfast was delicious!Nunu the manager and his staff were friendly, helpful and a delight to talk to.The location cant be beat! We walked everywhere with no problem at all.Were so happy this is the place we chose to stay while in Porto!

A really nice and cozy Hotel. Perfect location, nice rooms with everything you need in, also air conditioning. The staff is really friendly and easy going. Great stay! Hope to be back! This hotel was our first encounter with Portugal. What a joy! Beautiful rooms in an ancient restored building. Spacious clean and beautifully designed room, with unbelievable view. The location is superb. And the fact that this is a great room to sit in, relax with a book, put your feet up for sometime before you go out again - that means a lot. We simply loved it. Our room was equipped with a bath tub, and a kitchenette (stove, microwave, small refrigerator, dishes). Our friends' room, no. 3 was the same, only with a shower and not a bath. Then, there's the breakfast. A decent breakfast buffet, serving eggs and coffee per visitors request, offering fresh bakes, fruit, yogurt, jams, cheese and ham... Staff was super friendly and helpful. The whole place makes you smile. Just so I won't be suspected to be biased - there are a couple of things I would comment on: First, the place is relatively recently opened, and they lack storage furniture like drawers or shelves. The other thing is - the wooden floors are the original ancient flooring of the building. We were awaken very early one morning by the people above us walking to and fro for more than an hour making lots of noise with heavy steps on the floor. Not sure they were aware of just how much noise they were making. But other than this incident the place is very quiet and pleasant. We did not need the air conditioning - though nice to have it.

Fabulous base from which to explore Porto. Lovely boutique hotel in centre of Porto. Our room had magnificent views over the Douro river and bridges. The room itself was stylish and comfortable and the staff in the hotel were extremely helpful. Breakfast was delightful comprising of daily smoothies, tomato bruschetta, Portuguese nata tarts fresh from the oven and many more delicious treats. 10 out of ten for effort from all concerned. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Es war einfach alles wunderbar. Lage perfekt, Frühstück traumhaft, das Personal war sehr, sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir haben sehr viele Tipps bekommen.

Wir haben bei der Ankunft einen Upgrade in ein Mega Tolles Zimmer bekommen. Sehr hell und so großartig gestaltet wie übrigens das ganze Hotel. Ein atemberaubender Blick auf den Fluss und die andere Ufer Seite mit den Portwein Firmen.

Super location and great romantic rooms - the views are amazing and close to the Douro river and the bridge. The breakfast was very good and the price is very reasonable. This will be our location clothe next time we come.

Enjoyed the view looking over the Douro River and the sights beyond. The building was lovingly restored and displayed its ancient character. Staff was friendly and helpful with finding parking. The extra umbrellas were a thoughtful touch. The breakfast selection was varied and ample.

Die Unterkunft war von der Einrichtung und auch von der Lage her (zentral) sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, insbesondere auch im Zussammenhang mit unserer flugbedingt verspäteten Ankunft (siehe gesonderte Bewertung des Check In). Besonders gefallen hat mir auch das Frühstück, sowohl vom Service als auch von der Qualität her.

Great place, one of the best places we have stayed! Definitely rent a room with river view. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Best free breakfast I have ever had there were so many options. Property is an easy walk to many sights. Truly an olde world feel. LOVED everything about Mo House (and Porto)!

Indescritível esse hotel no Porto. Reúne tudo o que é bom, os quartos são lindíssimos, confortáveis, com uma vista linda da Ribeira, limpíssimo, café da manhã delicioso e atendimento impecável. Apesar de ser um prédio do século 18, tem elevador. Está localizado no centro da cidade não tendo portanto estacionamento.

It is a very unique hotel, by far the best I have ever stayed in. Great central location in the Ribeira district. The only issue is parking is limited. We were advised to use a parkade which can be several blocks away but we were lucky to find a free spot quite close by. So much history in this building and redone perfectly. Nice little balcony with a lively street view and good restaurants everywhere. Breakfast came with the room which we also enjoyed. Highly recommend!

The mo House was amazing! The room was more like a small apartment than just a hotel room. It was clean and beautiful with a little balcony and comfortable bed. The breakfast is amazing-eggs, smoothies, baked goods, yogurt, fresh fruit, espresso -all delicious! The location is also perfect and staff helpful and friendly!!!

Sincerely Mo House was just a true delight. In entering this gorgeous old converted mansion the delicious fragrance makes you feel relaxed. Nuno was ever so helpful making the best suggestions for restaurants and bars in Porto. Our rooms were beautifully decorated and the views from our room was staggering. The seagulls did disturb me on the first night as I wanted to sleep with the window open. Breakfast was delicious and very healthy.... If you are looking to stay in a comfortable and beautiful restored old townhouse I highly recommend Mo House....the house of love....
