Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, aber sehr sauber. Die Lage ist super, mitten im Zentrum, dadurch aber nachts natürlich teilweise auch recht laut. Sehr kleiner Frühstücksraum, habe dadurch auf mein enthaltenes Frühstück verzichtet, da nie ein Platz frei war, wenn ich dort erschienen bin. Ist aber nicht schlimm, man kann für kleines Geld in der direkten Umgebung frühstücken. Alles in allem: Für ein Guest House durchaus zu empfehlen!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits du 7 au 11 mai 2019 dans cet hôtel qui est effectivement en plein cœur de Porto ce qui est un bon point pour limiter les transports et faire toutes les visites à pied mais par contre, le gros point négatif est que la rue est tellement bruyante la nuit que même avec des boules quies, on ne peut pas dormir et ça ne s'arrête pas avant 6 h du mat. Heureusement que le personnel est sympa ça fait passer la pilule mais c'est qd même difficile quand on ne peut pas se reposer. Les chambres sont propres mais petites, surtout la douche, on peut à peine se baisser dedans, si on est fort, on ne rentre pas, et les toilettes sont presque dans le lavabo, c'est un peu moyen au niveau de l'espace de la salle de bain. Par Contre rien à redire sur le service de chambre ni sur le personnel qui est tjrs à l'ecoute et très gentil.

300 euros were stolen from my bag at the hotel and the responsible for the hotel took no action. Besides That, the manager threatened to sue me if I reported it.

The staff were amazing! They brought us breakfast in bed (no extra charge and without even being asked) and treated us like absolute gold. The breakfast every morning was divine. I loved my stay

Einfache Unterkunft. Zimmer-Standard einfach bis normal und Sauberkeit gut. Das Bad ist recht klein und eng. Zentrale Lage. Man sollte wissen, dass die Unterkunft in einer Bar/Party-Meile ist, entsprechend ist die Lautstärke abends/nachts höher - also eher nichts für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden, da wir eine einfache Unterkunft wollten und hatten dementsprechend keine hohen Ansprüche und Erwartungen.

Nous avons été très déçus par l’hôtel en effet, la chambre était toute petite, même pas une table et une chaise, la douche est tellement petite qu'il est impossible de se baisser pour se laver les pieds, la literie mériterait d'être changée, le petit déjeuner n'est pas terrible et le summum, l’hôtel se trouve prêt d'une discothèque si bien qu'il est impossible de dormir avant 5 heures du matin et ensuite à 7 heures c'est la balayeuse prend le relaie, reste 2 heures pour dormir... dommage la ville de PORTO est superbe mais séjour gâché par un hôtel qui ne devrait pas s'appeler hôtel ..

Tolle Lage und freundliches Personal. Lobby sehr hübsch. Toll dass es ein Aufzug gibt und die Rezeption 24/7 besetzt ist. Die Zimmereinrichtung an sich war ausreichend aber recht alt, Bett etwas unbequem und die Zimmer teilw Nachts laut (Nachbarn und Party in der Umgebung). Das Frühstück hat mir gar nicht gefallen.

Limpeza razoável. Atendimento impessoal. Roupa de cama ruim. Ar condicionado já programado com 15 graus, no seguinte falamos na recepção e disseram que estava tudo normal com o controle. Novamente, na segunda noite programado, não conseguimos aumentar a temperatura e fazia muito frio. Bares próximos, barulho no final de semana. Não recomendo!

El hotel esta muy centrico, el problema? Que esta en la calle de ambiente nocturno y hay mucho ruido de musica por la noche que se oye en todo el hotel, imposible dormir si tienes sueño ligero y sin sueño ligero tampoco.Los dos días de estancia que estuvimos el personal de habitaciones son demasiado escandalosas con discusiones entre ellas incluidas.No marchamos muy contentos del hotel

Perfecto. Ubicado en el mismo corazón de la ciudad, junto a Librería Lello y Torre dos Clerigos, por lo que no puede estar más céntrico. En la zona están la mayoría de bares para salir de copas y hay muy buen ambiente. El personal es muy educado y amable, disponen de recepción 24 horas y servicio de desayuno incluido. Además es muy cómodo y muy limpio.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room (#203) was small, but clean and comfortable. The guest house is situated near restaurants, Lello bookstore, and walking distance from everywhere we wanted to visit. Breakfast was basic, but was as advertised and was enough. The only drawback for us was that our room was directly above a bar/restaurant that played music every night until 4 a.m. and that disturbed our sleep. I would gladly stay here again if we could be guaranteed a room on the top floor, not where we stayed. Thank you!

Es war alles in Ordnung. Zimmer sind sehr klein (zwei Betten, ohne Schrank), aber das wusste ich vorher. Ebenso Gemeinschaftsbad und WC.Frühstück bestand aus Hörnchen und zwei Brötchen mit Kaffee.

Wonderful location and reasonable cost in the city center. This cozy Guest house located in the good point for visiting this fabulous historic town. Even, there are some problems with my staying, all staff is very helpful and friendly. I will recommend this place to my friends.

Zentrumsnähe ist leider das einzig Positive. Von nachts 0:00 bis morgens 6:00 direkt die gesamte Straße vom Hotel lärmen und trinken hunderte Menschen. Krawall wie bei einer fahrenden U-Bahn!

Take the 601 or 602 bus from the airport (€1.95) to Clerigos & youare a two minute walk to the Guest House---it feels more like afancy hostel than hotel---no phone, no fridge, limited bathroom lighting, tiny shower (minuscule---avoid if you are a person of girth), soap dispensers, tiny flat screen TV, outdoor music (really late) provided by the local pubs, and adequate breakfast...I found the staff to be most accommodating & friendly---good restaurants in the surrounding area---walking to various sites wassimple & interesting---Wi-Fi very good---a reasonable cost forwhat is provided...I would lodge there again...

5h du matin. J'ai passé de longues heures sur la route et j'avais espéré avoir un bon sommeil récupérateur avant de poursuivre ma route de prés de 2000 km... Pour un hôtel trois étoiles, j'ai passé quasiment une nuit blanche et donc gaspillé 50€ pour cause de vie nocturne, composé de blablateurs de terrasse ET de bounkabounka, communément appelée musique techno véritable torture du cerveau, en dessous de ma lucarne du 4è étage... Plutôt envie de reprendre la route que d'attendre le p'tit dèj... Je me contenterai de me concentrer sur les cris des mouettes qui laissent rêver...

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Hostel & hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Das Zimmer war einigermaßen sauber, das Bad dagegen eher weniger - zudem gab es für das gesamte Stockwerk nur eine Männerdusche & eine Frauendusche. Dementsprechend war das Bad morgens lange belegt. Der Empfang war dagegen sehr nett und konnte uns immer weiterhelfen. Was für das Hostel spricht ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und die Lage!! Es ist wirklich direkt in der Innenstadt! Nachteil: Nachts ist es sehr laut

Great convenient location to tour around the main areas of Porto. In the nightlife district but stayed on a Sunday night so was very quiet. Basic but clean room and the air conditioner worked very well and washrooms were clean. Simple breakfast (3 bread buns and jam and butter, with coffee or tea and a juice is available).Also very close to the first stop of the 601 bus to the airport (took about 40 min for 1.95 euro).

This property had a great location, right near the famous bookstore and several of the iconic churches of Porto... BUT when I read about the noise complaints from other reviews I thought I could just sleep through it (I am a deep sleeper).... Their were people screaming, music blasted, and pretty much anything and everything noisy you could think of until 5 in the morning. SO NOISY.

Manquerait une petite étagère à lintérieur des chambres en bout de lit pour poser quelques affaires. Attention à la discothèque à côté très bruyante et très dérangeante la nuit malheureusement lhôtel ny est pour rien et subit malgré que ça pourrait malheureusement nuire à leur réputation...

Chambres et lieux communs très propres, pourquoi pas rajouter une petite étagère pour poser quelques affaires dans les chambres. Nuits très bruyantes mieux ne vaut pas avoir de problème de sommeil et bien être fatigué de sa journée. Bon rapport qualité/prix !

Personnel très acceuillant et sympathique. Hôtel idéalement situé pour visiter la ville.
Pour ce qui est de la chambre petite mais simple et efficace pour la déco. Literie moyenne (il ne faut pas avoir de problème de dos) salle d'eau correcte mais douche petite et porte entre la chambre et la salle d eau cassée. Pour ce qui est de la nuit, si vous souhaitez vous reposer n'allez pas là-bas car avec une chambre coté rue: Volume de la musique trop important et passants très bruyants jusqu'à 6h du matin puis a 7h ce sont les camions de livraison ou les camions poubelles... Même avec des bouchons d'oreilles il est compliqué de dormir...

El alojamiento está ubicado en una de las calles de fiesta (eso sí, muy enfocada al turismo: canciones inglesas y reggaetón, parece que no has salido de España. Aún así, la ubicación es excelente si no te molesta el barullo para dormir. Las instalaciones están bien, en concreto la habitación para tres personas algo pequeña y sin ventanas, el aseo era casi más grande que la habitación. El servicio de limpieza estupendo y el desayuno no es buffet, pero típico portugués, quedamos muy contentas con este servicio. Muy recomendable si no te molesta el ruido para dormir y no vas a parar mucho por allí.

Das Gästehaus liegt sehr zentral. Man kann so gut wie alles zu Fuß machen. Was uns nicht gefallen hat waren die lauten Nächte. Bis morgens um 4 Uhr durchgehend Musik und grölende Menschen. Die Zimmer sind nicht groß, aber es hat gereicht. Das Frühstück war einseitig, aber genug. Das Taxi vom Hotel zum Flughafen kostet 30€

The good stuff is that the hotel is right next to everything you need in the city ... you can easily walk to see most of the attractions the city has to offer.The down side is that the noise from nearby establishments goes on until about 0430 in the morning if you are lucky ... definitely recommend ear plugs ... if you are sensitive to bass vibrations too then give this place a miss.The en-suite in our room was extremely compact and being a larger kind of guy was a struggle sometimes.But on the whole ... given the price and convenience of the place ... it was OK overall.

Location was excellent. Noise was not so bad as it was said by others. There was no safe in the room and a note on the door saying if anything happens hotel takes no responsibility. And reception refuse to keep anything except passport. It didnt say it was with shared bathroom until I receive the confirmation. There were only 2 showers with an additional toilet to share with others, one of showers was broken and I had to hold it while I was using. There is no phone, no fridge, no sink and no mirror in the room. Breakfast was 3 pieces of bread with jam/butter and tea/coffee. Air-conditioning /TV were working.

Soggiornato dal 4 al 15 agosto, personale gentilissimo e disponibile, la mia camera era al terzo piano con finestre doppie quindi una volta chiuse ho dormito benissimo. La posizione è ottima per tutto con il bus 500 o 200 si va a Menthosino al mare. Quello che non capisco sono le lamente e i giudizi negativi se volete di più andate in un Hotel a 5 stelle! !!! In camera dovete solo dormire, visitate Oporto e non rompete le scatole

It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. You have to lock yourself in your room which is a fire hazard. They make you give back the key when you go out which is unusual. The rooms were small and it is an extremely loud neighborhood. The beds were okay, but not great. Wouldnt stay here again, but it would work in a pinch. I certainly wouldnt give it 3 stars, 2 at best.

El hotel está bien situado, pero las habitaciones son un desastre, estrechas, sin ventanas y sin armario. El desayuno absolutamente básico. Y lo más importante no cumple ni las mínimas normas de seguridad: no tiene salida de emergencias, y la única escalera es una chimenea en caso de incendio.

Imposible dormir por las noches, tiene un pub justo debajo de las habitaciones y es como estar de fiesta toda la noche y da igual el día de la semana. Intentar dormir de día es complicado porque no tienen persianas y las cortinas no tapan del todo la luz.
Lo bueno es que está muy bien situado, junto a la librería y a 3 minutos de la avenida dos aliados.

Very good location. Clean, although small, rooms; which is to be expected based on the relatively cheap price. I am 1.80 cm tall and the bed was actually too short. Breakfast is ok. However, the guest house is located in a street with night clubs, which makes it extremely noisy till about 4 am.

Det här hotellet finns mitt i allt så på så sätt är det väldigt bra. Nära till allt. Bra om du är ute hela natten. Vill du sova gott och vila dig efter en dag av vandring i staden, då för du söka något annat. Fester och musik som håller på fram till de små timmarna gör det omöjligt att somna om du inte har öronproppar och för det mesta inte ens detta hjälper. Annars är det rent, personalen trev
lig och dina tillhörigheter är trygga där.

Clean, noisy (to be expected because of the great location) but full with thieves. I notice a warning at the door not to leave money in the room, which was strange. I had to leave my wallet for about 30 minutes, and I found the warning to be justified. Somehow here your cash is not safe. They have a thief, or more, among the staff and they do nothing about it. I would stay away from this place. I noticed other reviews on the matter, they are sadly true.

Es ist furchtbar laut. Der Nachtclub neben an spielt laute Musik bis um 7 Uhr am Morgen.... auch unter der Woche.
Wenn man damit kein problem hat kann man hier günstig übernachten.
Das Personal ist nett.
Das Frühstück ist schlicht .
Für dem Preis okay. :)

Location excellent. Room and facilities were as expected for the price and totally fine. Breakfast good. Staff helpful and friendly. I was aware, from reading other reviews, that there were noise issues at night from the local bar(s). Sadly this was true and, despite being on the third floor and having the window closed, this was still a big problem. I can handle a certain level of disturbance, especially when I expect it, but to have music playing until 6am was madness. I expected 2am, 3am or even 4am. But 6am?! Sadly I would be unable to stay there in the future or recommend to anyone else as long as that is the case. Which is a shame because of the many positives.

VERY NOISY - 1-6am (every night) you will hear music and ‘Feel’ Thumping on the walls - we were on the 3rd Flr - there is a dance club on the street level that is close during the day (very deceiving) - too bad because it is a good hotel ...

The name is quite misleading, because it is actually Hotel cristal or Recidencial Cristal.
The bathroom is as you can see on the picture, very small and uncomfortable, you have to squeeze yourself between the wash basin and the shower cubicle to get to the toilet.
The street infront of the guesthouse is also very dirty in the mornings

Freundliches Team, von denen fast alle gut Englisch sprechen. Hotel liegt sehr Zentral, direkt um die Ecke von der Livraria Lello und der Clerigokirche. Also eigentlich perfekt um die Stadt zu erkunden. Einziger Nachteil ist dass es Abends bzw nachts sehr laut werden kann. Vor allem Freitags. Hatte ein Zimmer das nicht direkt zur Straße lag und hab trotzdem alles gehört. Ohropax sind also auf jeden Fall von Vorteil. Ansonsten klein aber fein. Frühstück ist okay aber nichts besonderes.

The bathroom had a toilet set in the corner with a basin in front of it, it was impossible to access. The noise from the street was constant till 5am then the street cleaning began also unbearably loud. Breakfast was great and the ladies who served it very nice.

Great location and not a bad looking place. I would find something else for next time due to the service. The door guy asked that I leave the key with him which I think is crazy and he gave me a super hard time when I had a quick visitor (just visitor, not a sleepover) because my room was registered for one guest. I even offered 50 euros in tip (more than I paid for the entire stay) and he did not want to work with me. Also they played some kind of game when I arrived telling me there were no rooms (sold out); when I told them that hotels.com showed 2 rooms available they told me I was wrong. So I booked the room thru hotels.com in front of the receptionist and got my room for that night. I dont know why they played games with me. I am a 35 year old professional traveling by myself; there was no need for this.

We had a warm welcome. The room was small and the air conditioning was noisy. The bathroom was a bit small and I doubt whether people of a certain size would get into the shower cabinet. Having said that we were able to leave our rucsacks in a safe place while we looked around Porto for most of the day which was very useful.

Laccueil à lhôtel était plutôt de qualité. La chambre nest pas de bonne qualité. Le pire de tout, cest que le brouhaha de la foule dans les bars de la rue ne vous permet pas de dormir.

Abgesehen von der guten zentralen Lage des Hotels bietet es keine weiteren Qualitäten, die hervorgehoben werden sollten. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war eine Zumutung. In der Duschkabine lief ständig Wasser heraus und die Syphons verströmten einen faulen Geruch. Auf meinen Hinweis hin beseitigte man nicht die Ursache, sondern perfümierte das Zimmer ordentlich. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag das Gleiche: Butter, drei unterschiedliche Brötchen, Streichkäse und zwei Konfitüren. Der Service ist höflich, aber unbestimmt.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt, ca. 10 Minuten von der Metro. Es handelt sich um eine einfache, saubere und angenehme Unterkunft mit hilfsbereitem und freundlichen Personal. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet und eher klein. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls einfach und gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Wer eine einfache und gut gelegene Unterkunft mit freundlichem Personal sucht ist hier richtig.

Om man inte vill hamna på en gata full av nattliv kanske man ska bo någon annan stans. Det centrala läget och att det för övrigt var lugnt på hotellet överväger dock.

Lhôtel, hormis la propreté, est plutôt moyen.La composition du petit déjeuner est imposée, sans buffet.Le personnel est correct sans plus.La literie nest pas confortable.Gros inconvénient : de 11h du soir à 6h du matin, la musique (techno) dune boîte de nuit résonnait dans lhôtel, ce qui est très désagréable, sans compter le bruit extérieur provoqué par les clients de cette boîte de nuit.

Excelent location, close to everything you need see walking in Oporto, it wasnt clean at all, and arround was a lot of bars and the noise does not let you sleep.

Ich hatte ein sehr kleines Einzelzimmer, das aber sauber und für den Preis angemessen eingerichtet war. Die Lage iat sehr zentral und mit der tram (z.b. Sao Bento) sehr gut zu erreichen.Das Frühstück war sehr persönlich und gut.Insgesamt ein angenehmer Kurzaufenthalt.

Wir waren 5 Tage in diesem Hotel.Sehr gutes Restaurant direkt daneben mit viel Deco und super Ambiente,jeden Abend andere angenehme Musikgruppe (Blues,Jazz,Portugiesische Songs usw.).Viele Bars im Quartier offen bis sehr früh morgens.

Wie bei den Vorgängern schon beschrieben ist das Hotel bzw die Strasse so laut dass man kaum schlafen kann. Das Frühstück kann man sich schenken. Ansonsten W-LAN umsonst und für den Preis voll in Ordnung.Für 5-10€ mehr pro Person kann man in wesentlich bessern Hotels absteigen

Einfache aber saubere Zimmer. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück dem Preis entsprechend kontinental, die Tische immer sauber. Leider am Samstag Nacht laute Lifemusik, sonst aber ruhig. Die Lage in der Innenstadt ist perfekt für Sightseeing. Perfekt für den kleinen Geldbeutel.

In vier von sechs Nächten in diesem Hotel war extremer Lärm bis früh um 5.00 Uhr. Da helfen netter Service beim Frühstück (jeden Tag dasselbe: Schmelzkäse, Marmelade und Butter und immer dieselben Gummibrötchen) auch nicht über die schlaflosen Nächte hinweg. Die Lage ist gut, man kann alles zu Fuß bzw. mit Bahn oder Metro erreichen.

Ursprünglich gebuchtes Zimmer sehr eng - aber für geringen Aufpreis war ein Upgrade zu einem grösseren und schöneren Zimmer möglich. Personal war sehr freundlich.
