We had a wonderful three night stay at Charming Antas House. The welcoming hospitality of Manuela began as soon as we arrived and was a lovely introduction to our stay in Porto. The property is in an attractive area and only an 8 minute walk from a metro station so you are in the centre of Porto within 20 mins. The accommodation was very clean, the room very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious and fresh with plenty of choice. We would recommend this as somewhere to stay especially if you prefer somewhere with a more personal and friendly approach to hospitality.

We were extremely well looked after from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were extremely comfortable and quiet. Easy access to metro and only a few stops to the centre. Very hard to fault this hotel.

Estuvimos 3 días en casa de Manuela y realmente todo lo que pueda poner no hace justicia al buen trato, atención y dedicación que Manuela le pone al trato con cada uno de sus huéspedes, se nota que todo lo que hace lo hace con cariño y como si cada uno de los huéspedes fuéramos amigos suyos de toda la vida. Las habitaciones incluyen parking, aseo, tv, wifi y desayuno. Sin duda volveremos a casa de Manuela.

Our main discovery of accommodation in Portugal on this trip was high service, fantastic customer focus of hotel personnel and good, cozy, very clean and nice quality of all accommodation we used.Each detail of this house from the main gate to a plaid on the arm-chair in our room is well thought-out and made with love and great passion. Our room, common areas, eg the hall, a living / breakfast room with a pool table, and all interiors were tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Certainly, Charming Antas House is very charming and has an unforgettable character. The owners were so friendly and customer focused by looking after us, cooking delicious breakfasts and providing dainty homemade cakes and biscuits in the evenings. We were welcomed with a glass of a nice port on arrival. Our room was very spacious and warm (it contained an air conditioner). Breakfasts were cooked individually for us, varied every morning and were enormous with a big variety of cheeses, biscuits, cakes, various sorts of local specialities, fruits and a hot meal. Antas house is very well located within a walking distance (10 min) to the subway station with line direct to the city centre. It was very easy to leave our car in the courtyard and explore Porto by foot. Thank you very much, dear owners, for providing such a great level of comfort and care. If we ever have a chance we would love to come and stay in Charming Antas House again.

Manuela and Joao were wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly. The house is charming full of beautiful things and breakfast was the best ever! We plan to stay with them again when we return to Porto! . We give the Charming Antas House our highest recommendation!

Already at check in we felt very welcome in this guest house. Manuella (the owner of the house) showed us the facilities, and it was clear she wanted us to feel well and at home during our stay. We stayed three nights. Charming Antas House is quite close to the motorway, so it is easy to get there. The breakfast was a fantastic new creation every morning, so we started the days in a perfect manner and harmony. It is a very clean and very quiet house, and because it is small (6 rooms), you feel at home without the stress and noise of a big hotel. Parking is inside the fence and is free of charge. Some restaurants are close to the hotel, and we found the one opposite to the metro station to be very good (caution: Take half portions, as they are huge). The metro is 10 minutes walk away, so it is easy to get to city center, or wherever one would like to go without taking the car out. Manuela and Joao are the perfect hostesses! Their home is impecable and the service could have not been better. The breakfast is amazing. I will definetly stay at Charming Antas House the next time I’m in Porto.It’s within walking distance to the Metro and from there is a quick two stops to the center and all the action. Uber is also very reasonable. Many thanks to Manuela for making our stay so pleasant!!

We chose this hotel based on previous reviews and so we could park our car. So glad we chose it, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect. Easy to find, not far from the motorway. Secure car parking and a wonderful welcome from Manuela who explained about Porto and gave us cards for the metro system for us to load with euros as and when needed. Our room was large and beautifully presented and most important, spotlessly clean. There was bottled water and lovely bath products provided. There was an honesty bar in the breakfast room where you could get coffee whenever you wanted. It was a 10 minute walk to the Metro station so we managed our 10K steps a day! There are a couple of restaurants and a great cafe very close by. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel.

A gem of a place. Fantastic accommodation, breakfast is awesome and the hosts are wonderful. Location is close to metro station and also near a few nice bars and restaurants. Can't wait to return.

Familiäre Atmosphäre mit sehr sympathischer Betreuung. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Nahe beim Supermarkt und Stadion Dragāo. Gibt gute Hinweise wo man was findet. Manuela ist sehr hilfreich. Exzellentes Frühstück. Wir wollen wieder kommen.

This is where you have to stay in Porto! We (my wife and myself) stayed here for two nights an it was wonderful! The Room was perfect very very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was magnificent. The Host Manuela gave us a very warm welcome with a glas of Portwine, sweets and local insider knowledge about Porto! Manuela was the best host we’ve ever met (and we are traveling a lot!) In the evening you can play billiards if you want to, you get coffee every time free of charge and some cookies :) Private parking places are available! So if you come with a rental car, you should stay here! The Metro is only 7 minutes away and you are very fast in the city center. This accommodation is wonderful! We’ve had a wonderful stay in Porto. Thanks again Manuela!

Manuela is great host, she use her farm produce to make breakfast for us. Fruit jam is made by her husband and mffin by her sister. Thanks for the welcome Porto wine and the great quality recommendation of good place to visit in Porto

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend five night in Manuela’s truly charming house. We stayed in the cream suite which is spacious and beautifully appointed with everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning has everything you’ll want and will start your day off perfectly for exploring Porto. Manuelas husband makes delicious egg dishes which changed every morning and there is always one of his homemade jams in the assortment of three jams for your croissants or breads. Coffee and tea are available all day for free as is a cake Manuela makes and leaves out for guests to enjoy.The B&B is in Antas which is a short ride on the metro to the center, the metro is a 10 minute walk from the house. Manuela gives you Andante cards and all you have to do is add trips and your on your way. We enjoyed the peacefulness of being out of the Ribeira and center area. If we’re ever back in Porto we would not hesitate to stay at Charming Antas House, Manuelas hospitality is unsurpassed.

Casa muy acogedora con Manuela a la cabeza, limpia, hospitalaria y cercana. Las habitaciones al nivel de cualquier 5 estrellas de dimensiones generosas y baños de lujo. Exquisita decoración y un billar para los tiempos muertos entre salida y salida. Parking interior moi cómodo, muy recomendable.

The location is excellent with onsite parking. The house is beautiful, comfortable and spotless. Manuela was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent! There are extra nice touches such as a welcome glass of port wine, fresh baked cake and cookies and Metro cards to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Our stay was exceptional , The owner was extremely charming and exceptional in her helping us plan our day in Porto ! She started off by treating us to a glass of Porto wine and then brought out a map and explain to us everything we had to see.Her house was a beautiful collection of her memorabilia of her childhood and the total feeling was being and somebody’s beautiful home. I can only thank her for her hospitality and caring and beautiful detail to every tiny thing in her home which we could enjoy !!! Even to her giving us subway tickets to Re top ... Thank you so much

We arrived late on the 21st sept group of ten of us . Manwella greeted us very warmly with a glass of port and homemade cake we took up the five suites which were all decorated absolutely beautifully with old and new style. The only regret we had is not staying there longer .but we will be back

The place is full of history the couple couldn't do enough for us and the breaky was lovely all home made cheeses the bed room was very comfortable

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and the breakfasts were amazing. Although a little out of the centre of Porto, the metro is close by and Charming Antas House is so good it makes the journey worthwhile.

We had a lovely two night stay at Charming Antas. Manuela was a wonderful and welcoming host and the house was beautiful with our room and en suite being nice and big. It is slightly outside of the centre but only an 8min walk to the metro then just 4 stops into town so not far at all. An added bonus for us was the secure parking as we had driven to Porto. Our two girls fell in love with Jaguar and Estrella their two dogs. Would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome stay. Truly the best in Porto. I've been three times in porto. Always hotel and then found this one. Simply great! You feel like being a family member, even with distance if do not want to have it. It was great. Clean, superb accommodation, great breakfast, great talk. Great, great, great.Thank you! Já a 3° vez que ca ficamos, e sempre somos recebidos com muita simpatia, muito profissionalismo, sem contar que a Estrela e o Jaguar os meninos da casa ( cães) são um amor como os donos. Simplesmente perfeito ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Charming Atlas is a Quirky and comfortable place to stay and the owners are very welcoming . Access to town via tube is easy from the location . The house is close to football ground which we only realised later had a knock on effect of making the cost of stay very expensive for what could only be described as B+B This is not a hotel in the sense of it .

Für unsere Anforderung (nahe beim Stadion) gut. Gute Ausstattung, Räume teilweise unter Bodenhöhe, was bei Sommerhitze gut sein mag. Ziemlich laut, da es entweder keine Türen oder nur Türen hat, welche den Lärm nicht dämmen oder sogar noch quitschen. Das war definitiv keine Suite, unser Zimmer war dazu zu klein, es fehlt ein Zimmer / eine Tür und ich kann den nötigen Platz für das angebliche Sofa nicht finden. Allerdings gibt es diesen schönen gemeinsamen Aufenthaltsraum mit Bar zur Selbstbedienung. „Garden View“ ist nicht ganz korrekt, da der für die Hunde reservierte Garten sowie der Parkplatz nur auf Bodenhöhe und nur wenn man in das kleine Fenster hineinsteht sichtbar ist. Das Billard hat uns gut gefallen, jedoch nicht der Garten, welcher grösstenteils für ein paar riesengrosse Hunde abgesperrt ist. Der Kirchturm ist in der Nacht ruhig.

Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft um Porto zu erkunden. Grossartige Gastfreundschaft. Reichhaltiges, wunderbares Frühstück. Ruhig gelegen, aber das Zentrum ist gut und schnell erreichbar.

La casa está llena de detalles para que te sientas realmente cómodo. El servicio y la atención son extraordinarios. Mención especial para el desayuno, sin duda uno de los mejores que hemos probado. Es una excelente opción tanto si se viaja en coche (tiene parking) como si no (es muy rápido y fácil alcanzar el centro de la ciudad).

SIMPLY SUPERLATIVE !!!! My wife and I love to travel, but a reception and a dreamlike atmosphere do not remember to have found it elsewhere. Everything is superlative, both from the point of view of organization and correctness, not to mention the exceptional cleanliness and the superfine care used in every detail, in order to put the guest at ease. Confort that more is not possible, with the addition of the sweetness and availability of Manuela and her husband, were also from this point of view, moving. A special mention, even more exciting if possible, must be done for the presentation and preparation of different breakfasts every day, full of everything you could wish for, breakfasts that have excelled on all the best hotels we have visited: we have never seen and eaten better. Really good !!! A short but intense holiday, in a city with many contradictions but where you breathe an authentic air, that if we had to choose again as a future place to visit, we will not be able to return to this superlative location. Precioso hotel con 5 habitaciones y la atención permanente de Manuela y João. El desayuno es espectacular. Situado en una zona muy tranquila (cerca del estadio do dragão y de un modernísimo centro comercial), aunque algo alejada del centro. Parking gratuito incluido.

Delicioso hotel en Oporto. Es como alojarte en casa de unos amigos. Los propietarios, Manuela y Joao se deshacen en atenciones con los huéspedes. Tienen 4 habitaciones diferentes decoradas de manera exquisita. Limpieza increíble, amabilidad, etc. Capitulo aparte los desayunos personalizados. Increíblemente deliciosos. Puedes dejar el coche en el patio de la casa gratuitamente. En resumen, lugar 200% recomendable.

This is a fantastic big house owned by Manuela and Joao and also 2 lovely dogs. Incredibly beautiful, clean and comfortable! Everything is perfect here. There are 4 big bedrooms for guest with very good quality, and we lived in the biggest one of 40 square meters! The breakfast is delicious and beautiful. Everything in the house for decoration is like an art which is cherished so well for many years. The owners are very kind and helpful. I'm still missing the evenings when the sun got down and we sat in the garden and drank coffee and talked with the owner and also the other guests.
