After what seemed quite a long cab ride from railway station we were surprised how close we were to the centre of town. Reception and bar staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was fine but breakfast room quite crowded.Bathroom had shower only and a rather loud colour scheme but shower was very good.

The location of the hotel is in walking distance of Porto’s attractions. The WiFi was reliable and the breakfast plentiful and good. The hotel is a dated (a bit 1980s) but it’s not a resort hotel where you spend the whole day so it didn’t matter. I wanted B&B not the full swanky experience so it suited my needs.

I stay at the Inca regularly, very central, great staff, adequate WiFi, newly renovated rooms and a decent breakfast. The price does vary hugely with demand so booking advance is recommended.

Location was fine for us to walk to the many must see attractions in Porto but might not work for those not use to walking up hill to return to this hotel. Taxis are of course a solution to that. There was a big Asian tour group there, so the breakfast buffet was not a relaxing experience.

We were very pleased with our choice to stay at Best Western Inca in Porto. Staff is very engaged and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The buffet breakfast is truly outstanding and it is obvious that the chef makes a point of giving many choices. In future, may we suggest offering facial tissues, night light in bathroom and shampoo? There were none and we had to go out to purchase them. We have stayed in many Best Westerns [France, Spain, USA] where those were available. The air-conditioning control was inconsistent; sometimes it worked, sometimes not.

Hôtel très bien situé. Les chambres, quoique confortables sont très petites. Excellent service du personnel. Petit déjeuner de premier ordre dans une ambiance reposante. Lhôtel a accepté de garder une valise en consigne jusqua notre retour prévu 3 semaines plus tard.

mein zimmer war im 6. stock. es war schwer zu lüften. obwohl ich morgens immer die fenster aufriß und dann dafür sorgte, daß ab mittags die vorhänge fest verschlossen waren ( südwestseite ) war es in der nacht unerträglich stickig. der ganze bau ist wahrscheinlich aus der zeit, wo bewohner des dachgeschoßes eines flachdachgebäudes einfach im sommer immer zum leiden verurteilt waren. als tourist will man aber nicht leder und das schon garnicht zu dem preis.an der reception waren sie nicht freundlich. haben nicht zurückgegrüßt. das ist für portugal ungewöhnlich. frühstückOK .personal sehr nett

Dovevamo pernottare nel l’hotel Malaposta ma non c’era posto e ci hanno spostato in questa struttura ... leggendo le recensioni ero restia ma non avevo scelta!..devo invece precisare che la mia esperienza è stata fantastica ... il personale ci ha accolto con la massima gentilezza e ci ha offerto persino un calice di benvenuto.. ottima la pulizia e ke camere nuove e accoglienti .. allego le foto .. consiglio questa struttura anche per la posizione vicina ai punti d’interesse ..

Buena ubicación. Nada de insonorización, por la noche se oyen coches y conversacion de la habitación de al lado, puertas, camareras, carros. Me intentaron colar la peor habitación 201 o 202, ruido h vistas a un patio sucio. Me quise ir y me dieron otra mejor. Buffett bien, personal lo mejor, excepto una señora con pañuelo en la cabeza algo contestona.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights there and I must say that the hotel is top notch. The staff is very kind, considerate and helpful. We had a standard room and it was really impressive. Very clean room and bathroom. Great breakfast. Well worth the price. Quiet neighborhood. Our room was on the street side and there was no noise. I highly recommend the Casual Inca Porto if you are staying in Porto. This hotel is already in the favorites of my internet browser.

Hotel de 4 estrellas??? Ni dos tiene. Un ruido tremendo los coches se oyen, como si nada...es vergonzoso que tenga 4 estrellas . A las 7 de la mañana a ya no hay quien duerma porque las cortinas son cortas.. Ver la foto. La TV nos dijeron que había canales en castellano.. No los hay.el baño muy viejo casi ni traga el agua... No puedo ponerle menos estrellas. NO RECOMENDADO

Mal, timo absoluto. La habitación que escogimos por Booking no era la que nos dieron. Pagamos 70€ por, supuestamente, una habitación amplia, con decoración inca... súper chula. Al entrar en la habitación nos encontramos una habitación enana y sin ninguna decoración como las fotos. No engañen a la gente por dios!!! La habitación valía 40€ como mucho. El desayunar bastante simple, muy poca variedad. Seguro no volveré ... no me gusta que me engañen

The hotel has 4 stars as per the ministry of tourism. However as per our experience it should be a 2 stars.
The rooms are quite small for a 4 stars. There are no closet in the room and there is only a tiny bar hanging next to the bed to hang about 4 pieces.
Between the night table that are really close to the bed and the minibar we need to maneuver inside the room not to hit ourselves.
The sound isolation is poor. Everytime someone opens a door or walk in the corridor we feel they are inside the room.
In terms of amenities we had to beg to get paper tissues as they don't put tissue box inside the room and they gave us a pack with barely 3 tissues inside.
The hand soap is extremely tiny and at the end of the day you run out of soap.
The room has no bathrobe. No slippers. No shower cap
The room is not really clean, they simply push the dust under the bed.
The shower is leaking. After every shower the bathroom is transformed into a swimming pool.
Regarding the hotel in general, beside the breakfast there are no restaurants and the in-room dinning is limited to a mere 3 sandwiches.
To add on all the above, the hotel is undergoing a renovation so the gym is closed and the construction starts at 08h30 am. So get ready to be waken every day by the nice sound of hammer and drill
On the other hand the hotel is situated in a nice vibrant area of Porto, and the hotel staff is very nice and quite knowledgeable. But it is a small compensation for the rest.
In a word don't book this hotel

Emplacement idéal pour un centre ville. Du passage en journée, très calme la nuit. Chambre refaite très récemment. La douche fait déborder l’eau dans une grande partie de la salle de bains (pas très grande). C’es LE point négatif. Personnel accueillant, chaleureux, à l’écoute et de bon conseil. Nous y avons passé un agréable séjour.

Hôtel correct les travaux étaient fini a notre étage mais la finition était pas top, le petit déjeuner était bon mais il fallait se lever tôt car sinon il ne restait pas grand chose, le petit déjeuner jusqu'à 11h est bien mais il faut qu'il y ait de la nourriture ! Sinon hôtel bien situé.

I’ve stayed here many times, the staff are outstanding, location good, facilities good. The hotel has changed ownership recently and a renovation programme underway. The rooms are clean, some bathrooms are small but functional.

Para ser un 4 estrellas, la habitación con poco espacio para la ropa colgada, las maletas en el suelo alradedor de la cama,un primer piso con mucho ruido por el empedrado de la carretera. En el baño : solo nos pusieron gel dos días, la ducha habia que hacer un master para conbinar la portatil manual , con la fija de arriba. El Bufet aprobado para un tres estrellas ,escaso.

We didnt like the first night at the hotel because the terrible piping waters noise. When we can change the room the Next day all was much better. We didnt like the carpet over the floor. The staff and the service was very kind and careful.

Things were broken or not functionning in the room, e.g. shower handle was loose and fell off. Sound proofing between rooms is poor. You can hear the TV and the conversation and the guests in the adjacent rooms.

Aunque ahora mismo se le ve que está remodelandose, lo que se aprecia es pura fantasía. Magnifico, acogedor. A los pies del casco histórico, pero en zona tranquila. En un paso, disfrutas de Oporto.

Apres une longue route et aucun hotel trouvé pour 4 on est arrivés ici par hasard et une chambre nous attendait. L'hotel est en travaux ils refont toutes les chambres et la notre ztziy toute neuve. Prix correct petit dej très moyen

Basic rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Their staff couldn't be any better. Especially Catlos. We included breakfast. Breakfast was good. They accept donations for UNICEF an organization who helps poor children in various countries throughout the world. We really liked that about this hotel. We made a donation.

Ahora mismo están en reformas y las instalaciones en las que yo me alojé son bastante antiguas.
El personal es muy amable, pero la relación calidad / precio ahora mismo no es la mejor.
A favor es que aún siendo habitaciones viejas, están limpias.
En contra, que había que dejar correr el agua del grifo porque salía sucia al principio.
En una de las habitaciones tenía unas vistas bastante buenas de las que pongo fotos.
La realidad es que no se corresponde para nada con las fotos que tienen publicadas, que son del primer piso que si está reformado. Pero el resto de plantas, yo tenía habitación en la cuarta y en la quinta, no se parece en nada, por lo que puedes ir esperando algo que no es, como me pasó a mí.

Es un hotel de los años 80 sin rehabilitar. Con moqueta, cortina en el baño y todo muy antiguo. En España no tendría más de 2 estrellas. Es un engaño que lo publiquen con 4 estrellas. Nos han estafado.

El hotel acaba de ser renovado al 100% y lo han tematizado de una manera impresionante!!! Ha mejorado muchísimo desde la entrada de la cadena española Casual Hoteles!! Se convertirá en hotel referencia sin duda

This property is not a 3-4 star hotel. My family have travelled extensively and we have stayed at far superior hotels for half the fare. I am of Portuguese decent and am very proud of my heritage, but this hotel stay made me extremely sad and disappointed. Please do not let me discourage anyone from traveling to one of my favorite cities in the world. Just know that there are really great accommodations in Porto, however this one is horrible. Employees were pleasant, but we left this morning without showering because of the condition of the bedroom and bathroom! This should say it all.

Отель уже требует хорошего ремонта. Сейчас это как возвращение в прошлое, причём советское прошлое... красные ковровые дорожки, деревянные шкафы... как в гостинице Ярославля. Надо отметить, чистоту !!! Гостеприимство! Хорошее отношение персонала. Но!! Вернуться нет желания!!! Отель не современный. Завтрак мне тоже не понравился... не вернусь.

Le plus apprécié: le personnel très sympathique et la chambre toujours bien mise. Le stationnement à proximité. Le moins apprécié: manque un peu d’ambiance ( restos, divertissements) près de l’hôtel. Buffet déjeuner correct mais en dessous de nos attentes.

Durch Straßenlärm trotz der Doppelfenster ziemlich laut. Die meisten Zimmer sind ziemlich klein. Badezimmerausstattung sehr schlicht, nicht 4Sterne-Standard. Frühstücksbuffet bot frischen Obstsalat und war in Ordnung. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, eine interessante Gegend, in die man sich bis vor vier Jahren nicht mehr rein trauen konnte, die heute wieder sehr attraktiv und lebendig ist.Das Hotel ist einfach fertig: braune Brühe kommt aus den Wasserhähnen, die Möbel sind vergammelt, abgestossen, der Teppichboden sieht aus so aus, als hätte er noch die Monarchie erlebt. Auf den blinden Badezimmerspiegel wurde einfach ein neuer, etwas kleinerer, drauf geklebt. Der Siphon der Wanne ist rostzerfressen.Wir haben dennoch den Aufenthalt in Porto sehr genossen und werden wieder kommen. Aber sicher nicht ins Best Western Inca. Und nachdem auch der letzte Aufenthalt in einem Best Western, in Reunion, ähnlich war (das Hotel war letztes Jahr Baustelle) sicher nie mehr in ein Best Western.

Hôtel où le personnel est courtois et professionnel, au petit soin pour les clients et surtout pour ceux qui nont pas à leur corde plusieurs langues. L état de propreté est flagrant. Le petit déjeuner est correct surtout si on aime manger salé car pour les douceurs sucrés, il vaut mieux les consommer à lextérieur. La literie est correcte en revanche lacoustique est médiocre si vous ne dormez pas dun sommeil de plomb, évitez le lieu.

Wir haben dort vier Nächte verbracht ,das Hotel ist sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet ,die Hotelpersonal sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit .Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt von außen unscheinbar aber innen drin sehr nett eingerichtet .Wir können nur das Hotel weiter empfehlen .

Die Zimmer des Hotels sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist sehr sauber und liegt äußerst günstig, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Auch zur Metro sind es zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und W-Lan hat top funktioniert. Serviceleistungen vom Hotel haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, für einen kurzen Städtetrip ist das Hotel absolut in Ordnung.

Das Hotel ist relativ zentral gelegen, somit sind für Touristen alle Ziele leicht zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Empfang war freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Personal war in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit. Es gibt nur einen 4-Personenlift, was zu Engpässen führen kann. Das Einerzimmer im 4. Stock ist klein und bietet neben dem Doppelbett kaum Bewegungsfreiheit, war als Einerzimmer aber okay. Bad/WC sehr eng und bietet veraltete Armaturen, solche Lavabos wurden vor 30-40 Jahren in unseren Wohnungen verwendet. Das Bad ist der Tiefpunkt und lässt keinerlei Wohlgefühl aufkommen, keinesfalls 4-Sterne würdig, auch nicht 3 Sterne, ja eigentlich nicht einmal 2. Ich war dann gespannt auf das Frühstück, dieses war dann in jeder Hinsicht top, frische Produkte in reicher Auswahl, sauberes und geräumiges Frühstückzimmer. Fazit: Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit Ausnahme von WC/Dusche.

Nachdem wir uns schon durch den Hotel-Dschungel für unseren Aufenthalt in Lissabon und Nazaré gewühlt hatten, haben wir gedacht, dass man mit einem Best Western nicht viel falsch machen kann, da wir schon öfters bei dieser Hotelkette abgestiegen sind, allerdings ist dieses Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einrichtung und vor allem das Bad sind wie vor 20-30 Jahren. Die Zimmer sind aber sauber, abgesehen vom muffigen Geruch.Das Personal in diesem Hotel war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das hatten wir in anderen Hotels in Portugal nicht unbedingt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war klasse und abwechslungsreich.Die Lage ist recht gut - Porto ist aber auch nicht so groß und daher kann man alles gut zu Fuß erreichen.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war top. Die Zimmer vollkommen ausreichend für Urlauber, die nicht viel Zeit im Zimmer verbringen :) Betten waren komfortabel. Das Badezimmer sehr geräumig und schön. Das ganze Hotel machte aber einen etwas altbackenen Eindruck. Das Personal, v.a. der Barkeeper waren sehr freundlich :-) Check in und Check out waren unkompliziert.Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut, und der Weg dahin war auch ausgeschildert.

Mais sous le niveau que nous attendions pour un prix théorique très elevé. Cet hôtel doit être en cours de rénovation et le dernier étage ou était situé notre chambre nétait pas encore réhabilité.Rien a redire sur le personnel, la propreté, les petits déjeuners, etc !

Si amigos. Por las mañanas la pila del baño y alrededores aparecio lleno de hormigas que llegsron hasta nuestras bolsas de aseo. Dispongo de fotos. Lo dije en el hotel y se limitaron a pedir disculpas. Sera la ultima vez que visite un hotel de la cadena Best Wester. Y han sido muchos los que he tenido oportunidad de alojarme.

Customer service was very efficient and breakfast was excellent.Conveniently located a few minutes walk from the Trindade metro station, Aliados and the old town. The hotel was reasonably quiet despite such a central location.
