Nourriture vraiment moyenne, aucun choix possible. Décoration vraiment très laide, mais ça encore... Obligé de manger un menu vraiment basique et très cher. Les musiciens, pour la plupart, étaient par contre très bons ! Heureusement. C'est un «tourist trap» : obligé de payer le menu à 40 euros, ce qui est beaucoup trop cher pour la mauvaise qualité de la cuisine... le cerbère à l'entrée, franchement désagréable...

At first I was a bit skeptical about the place due to the reviews. I wanted to make an special dinner for my girlfriend, so I went for it. To be honest, it was a very special night for the both of us and even tho the price might seem high, it is worth it. The staff are very approachable and educated which made the experience even better. The food was delicious and it is worth the Price (it includes half a bottle of wine per person). Make sure you are hungry because all the food has a great taste and they serve good portions. The main event FADO is just amazing. The singer is very professional and the guitars players are very very special. If you are looking for a great and unique experience, please don’t hesitate and go for it. It is worth it, special and enjoyable. I also think the location is great. Good night life, so if you are up for it you also have a lot to do after. Truly an special night!

Ótimo atendimento e um bom fado

Spettacolo di Fado bello. Cibo mediocre per turisti, alla fine sorpresa sgradevole perché ti fanno pagare acqua e vino che invece erano inclusi.

Si comincia sempre dalle cose belle: Niente male l'inizio con un tagliere di salumi e formaggi semplice, ma gradevole. Ottimo il pesce, ci hanno servito del baccalà in crosta di pane con patate e verdure, il tutto messo in un sugo davvero buono. Infine la cantante di Fado meravigliosa e coinvolgente. Le note negative invece sono: La carne, servita al tavolo già fredda e molto speziata, stesso discorso per il riso messo accanto. Ma la cosa peggiore é che alla fine della cena quando siamo andati a pagare il cameriere ci ha detto che le bevande erano escluse dal menu che avevamo preso, mentre al momento della prenotazione ci era stato detto il contrario. Non abbiamo fatto storie poiché si trattava di pochi euro in più. Ma é stato poco cortese. Do due stelle per questo motivi. É stata un'esperienza poco piacevole, non ci tornerei.

Para ser perfeito, a qualidade da comida deveria ser melhorada. Parecia comida de cantina. O sinal Wi-Fi era nulo ou muito fraco devido a estarmos no piso inferior. Rede inexistente. A destacar a simpatia dos empregados e do elenco de fado.

The worst and most expensive food I’ve had in Portugal by a wide margin. 40€ for bad wine, under seasoned food that was still loaded with dirt and small pebbles. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, complete tourist trap.

I purchased a ticket for the Fado concert. Thia ticket offers the choice of codfish or steak only for dinner. The food was not the best. The service was the bare minimum. The live music was great.

Bom ambiente, ótimos artistas, excelentes entradas. Os pratos principais é que poderiam ser melhores e mais bem confeccionados.

I would suggest you search better for a Fado show as hotels tend to push you towards this one. The food was just average. For this price (our most expensive meal in Porto) we were expecting something much better than a tasteless soup and a chewy steak with a weird mushroom sauce. On the other hand, the artist was quite good despite being 40 min late on schedule. Fado is a form of Portuguese nostalgic singing with very melancholic music.

La cantant genial, el menu no val la pena

Ambiente super agradavel e o jantar como Fado é muito bem servido. A fadista foi mt boa e os musicos tambem. Vale muito a pena. Recomendo!

Uma experiência soberba, tanto no que diz respeito à gastronomia (que não apenas é extremamente variada mas também tem opções vegetarianas e vegan muito boas), como ao espectáculo de fado. A francesinha vegan é execpecional!!!!! O espectáculo de fado é lindíssimo, a fadista consegue criar vários momentos de magia e explica desde o início a história do Fado e o seu significado. O staff tem sempre um sorriso simpático e acolhedor. Toda a casa é linda, com pormenores nas casas de banho, corredores e salas de extremo bom gosto. Recomendo vivamente a viverem uma experiência de Fado e Francesinha que é delirante!!! O valor justifica completamente a noite!!!

The food was terrible - not just bad, this meal had dug a hole to an entirely new level of horrible. The worst meal we have had in Portugal by a long way. The beef was tasteless, the beef gravy too salty, the cod was so salty and had so many bones that it was inedible, plus was boiled in olive oil which was not appetizing. The appetizer of cold meats and cheese was very good. The house wines were drinkable but not very good. We didn't bother to stay for desert. Horrendously expensive for a poor meal. A table of very rude women were talking during the performance - the louder the singer sang the louder they got. The staff did nothing to silence them (and everyone was told at least four times to be silent during the performance). Another woman was recording the performance on her phone with the light on and annoyed everyone - and then had the gall to play back the recording during the performance. The staff were fine but were either uninterested or not empowered to deal with loud obnoxious customers talking during the performance. The performers were very good, but the singer kept trying to teach the audience a simple la-la-la lyric and she should have figured out that it was too complicated for a crowd that spoke at least 7 different languages. If you had a choice for your last meal before death of this place or going hungry - chose hungry.

Good dinner & great service. The ambience is perfect with subdued lighting. The food is traditional & is served nice & hot. The coated cod was great as was the the cale broth. Served with a good Douro house red. The fando was special too. Enjoyed listening to it while our table was silent ! Nicely decorated basement.

Friendly, and reasonable fado restaurant. £40 for the show, nibbles, soup, main (fish or veal) , pudding, comes with a half bottle wine as well. Food can be better, but we were there for the fado, not for food. So it's ok. Tables are well spaced between, and system was well explained before. Each fado songs were explained basic story line, so easy to understand. Melody was lovely.

Fui celebrar o aniversário da minha mãe a esta excelente casa de fados e ADORAMOS ! Desde a atenção ao cliente à comida e à fadista Claudia Madeira a noite foi inesquecível ! O meu sincero obrigada a toda a equipa ! Voltarei e recomendo vivamente ! Uma casa Portuguesa com certeza !
