Everything was delicious. We just didn't like the fact that they don't tell you the "courtesy" bread at your table is not free.

De todos los restaurantes que están por esa zona es uno de los más accesibles pero no es barato. Los camareros son un poco oscos, pero son amables. La comida se notaba hecha en el momento.

Prachtig uitzicht over de rivier. Het restaurant zit net niet aan de eigenlijke boulevard maar een klein straatje erboven. Dit maakt het terras rustig dan de andere terrasjes omdat de aanloop voornamelijk onder/naast het terras loopt. Helaas was de bediening erg slecht. Meneer heeft een extra collega nodig of een beter humeur. Hij was erg gehaast en nam niet de moeite om aardig of netjes te doen. Het beïnvloedde de gezellige avond aan de boulevard op een negatieve manier. (Uiteraard kan het zijn dat uitgerekend vandaag zijn collega ziek was, en dat wij daarom niet de service kregen. Neem het review dus met enige nuance.)

Pizza surgele, serveur désagréable... A fuir

Francesinhas muy buenas. Trato del personal un poco extraño. Aceptamos las sugerencias casi obligatoriamente. No estuvo mal pero tampoco lo recomendaría. Precio no muy barato. A favor diría las vistas.

Pizza dégueulasse pâte surgelée mal cuite, fromage gras sans goût, chorizo avec morceau de gras inmangeable... On s'attendait pas à du grand gourmet mais appâté par la vue on a voulu tenter... En plus ils ne prennent pas la CB... Bref à fuir

Pessimo atendimento, funcionario de mesa mau educado , não recomendo a ninguem. Turista não e apenas numeros... Jamais voltarei. Fica a dica a todos.

Para estar en zona turística el trato deja mucho que desear, parece que te hacen un favor al atenderte. Las fransesiñas están buenas, y el lugar privilegiado, pero el servicio es mejorable

Uma vergonha cobrar por entradas nao pedidas apenas porque os clientes sao turistas estrangeiros.

Absolute scam. The old lady was superbly rude, gave extras like bread, fries and crisps then charged us for them although acting like they were free, and wouldn't give us change unless I donated to a charity for some kid with terminal illness. I wasn't sure if it was real or not, but it was forced. Do not go in. Negative five stars.

Surprisingly good food at good value (we had the salmon and the chicken). The staff were very friendly, quite capable and fast. But oh god, the place itself is falling apart - it looks worse than a truck stop after a bar fight. Sit outside and keep your eyes on the river, and you'll be fine.

I really despise leaving one star reviews, but the service at this place was genuinely disgusting. I've been coming to Portugal multiple times a year since I was a child and k can say I've never experienced anything at all like this place. We wanted coffee, no coffee, no tea, no food. It was 4pm on a Thursday, and other people were eating! Begrudgingly the waiter gave me and my parents some fresh orange after a 20 minute wait and it just made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. So much so, we moved 50 metres down the path to another restaurant within seconds of paying. This could be a beautiful place as the view of the river is stunning. It's just such a shame the staff are ruining it.

Vue magnifique sur le Douro et repas partagé avec les mouettes ! Cuisine passable mais c'est surtout pour avoir un peu de tranquilité que l'on a choisi ce petit resto. Avec la chaleur et le monde qu'il y a, il est bon de se poser pour manger. Cependant, une surprise au moment de payer...Le pain courtoisie qui vous est apporté avant le repas est payant ! On vous le pose d'office sur la table quand vous arrivez. Vous avez donc 2 morceaux de pain grillé avec qqs olives, un petit morceau de beurre, 2 petits échantillons à tartiner( pas forcément appétissant) et cela se retrouve sur votre addition.Pas très honnête comme démarche :(

If you want to experience a no nonsense lunch or dinner, this is the place! Yes, the service may not be superfriendly (although the other gentleman is very nice) but the food is really good. I ordered the sardines and they were great! I think this is more a place for locals or if you really want to experience a non touristy place. I speak rudimentary portugese and they seemed to love that (also partly because they didn’t speak any english haha)! So; get out of your ‘i’m a tourist’ shell and start experiencing something off the grid :) in my opinion it was well worth it!

One star at best, the only reason for the star is the view! The food was below average and the service was the worst we have had in 2 months in Portugal. I usually do not review restaurants, but thought I should warn all possible about this one.

Muy desaconsejable. El camarero muy desagradable, le pedí una tostada y me dijo que no tenía y unos 5 min más tarde le llevó una a unos clientes portugueses. Precio abusivo. No volveremos nunca más. Creo que no saben tratar al turista.

Una porquería de comida y un trato penoso

Há mais de vinte anos que não vinha cá...fiquei desiludido. Panache morto com sabor esquisito e fatia de pizza fraquinha... Aproveitam-se as paisagens e o ambiente.
