A charming and homely guesthouse away from the busy heart of downtown Porto, Juan welcomes every guest with charm and humour. I loved my spacious, well appointed room which, true to its name, quickly felt like a home from home. Breakfast was a treat - so much so that I had to tear myself away to go exploring!

This is a beautiful home filled with wonderful details and staying here made my visit to Porto even better than I imagined.

Porto is a lovely city, full of life and incredible places, however "myhomeinporto" is not the place where we would recommend to stay if you want to enjoy the visit. ¿Why? The owner. He is so maniatic that it seems that you are under surveillance! He keeps checking at you constantly and even enters your room without permission. We loved the house and the city, but he made our trip unstandable.

Quite frankly: this is one of the nicest and most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. Juan is a wonderful host and has created a very exquisite and charming place here. This little gem is one of the places, you actually don’t want to recommend to anyone because you would like to keep them to yourself. However, if you have the chance to stay here you really should!

Outstanding guesthouse with large and bright rooms filled with well-curated mid-century furniture. Good breakfasts and an excellent, helpful host round out a great and authentic experience.
