è un ostello, ma la pulizia che ho trovato merita le 5stelle. i bagni impeccabili! sono arrivato con una bici affitta che ho potuto lasciare per la riconsegnare. colazione inclusa, spazio cucina utilizzabile 24h.

My friend and I stayed in one of the apartments which were located a couple of doors away from the hostel. The 2 bunks beds were comfy and had newer mattresses but the double bed mattress was just awful and needed replacing. We liked the view which was right across from the river and where the tram passes by. Not too far to walk into the main/old part of town. Breakfast was not included, but is 3 Euro extra. Washing machine in the apartment was broken and was unable to use. Staff were very pleasant. I did expect more (comfy bed, washing machine that worked etc) for the price that we paid.

Tive uma perfeita estadia em Porto. Staffs com atendimento de excelência, mapearam Porto para mim e me ajudaram com todos os passeios. Com certeza a atenção que me deram foi o ponto mais forte. Mas além disso, destaco a Limpeza impecável, pequeno almoço delicioso, pode-se fazer tudo a pé por ser próximo a vários dos principais pontos turísticos, parada de autocar muito próxima, banheiros e quartos ótimos, colchão confortável, cozinha equipada com tudo o que é necessário. The place is nice, close to the city center (there is a bus line taking you there directly but its also posible to walk there and see the city). The staff is nice, girl who worked there the first day was really cheerfull and helpful, ready to give you tips to see in a city. Rooms are clean and nice, just like in the pictures. I highly recommend the hostel.

Nice Hostel located next to the River with riverview from the room. Pretty easy to reach the city center/public Transport/main Station from there. Rooms were all clean, looked pretty new and cozy. The rooms had an attached bathroom, that was also really well, clean and modern. Stuff members were all the time friendly and helpful with all requests. So definitly recommendable. But they don't offer activities for the evenings/any social get-to-gethers, but there is a shared room next to the entrance/reception, where you can meet others guests/play games etc. And it was quite during the night, there was no big noise from the street.

Falta de limpieza, amanecimos con varias picaduras por todo el cuerpo. Hay unos focos en la pared que no te dejan abrir la ventana durante la noche, las habitaciones son un horno. La campana de la cocina no va a a ninguna parte asi que se llena todo de humo cuando cocinas. Y el desayuno sin mucho donde elegir

Das Apartment war klein, aber sehr sauber und mit allem notwendigen Komfort ausgestattet. Die Altstadt von Porto ist in ca. 10 min zu Fuß erreicht, die Anbindung an den ÖPNV ist durch die Buslinie 500 gewährleistet. Durch die Lage direkt am Fluss kommen insbesondere Läufer auf ihre Kosten: In 5 km Entfernung wartet die Douro-Mündung in den Atlantik und der Leuchtturm von Porto auf.

Gostei da localização, do staff que foi muito simpático e das instalações. Sala de apoio pequena. Não gostei dos holofotes ligados na varanda do quarto. Muito incómodo pois não se podia ter as janelas abertas nem para ver o luar. E ainda atrai toda a espécie de bugs.Tirem os holofotes e levam um 5.

Location, view, and our host Paolo! Paolo made us feel so comfortable during our stay He is super friendly and takes the time to explain all the details, things to do, places to visit, great wine tips and a round of free port wine for our check in! :) The appartement we booked was clean, cozy and fully equipped. Bathroom is beautiful!! So is the view on the river Free parking in front of the hostel (which is very important to have in Porto) A lovely 10min walk will get you in the center of the city We couldn't ask for a better location! We defenitly recommended this place Thanks Paolo for making us feel at home :)

Хозяева и работники очень дружелюбные, обстановка внутри очень комфортная, есть несколько кресел и столиков со стульями для работы и приёма пищи, в гостиной телевизор, бесплатная питьевая вода и апельсиновый сок. Небольшие услуги бара и кухня в наличии на первом этаже за ресепшном. Кухня для гостей, чайник, микроволновка и все столовые предметы в наличии. Завтрак не богат, но для утреннего перекуса и зарядки на первую часть дня хороший, хлопья, чай, кофе, хлеб, колбаса и сыр в наличии. Расположение хорошее, до центра города можно дойти пешком, до побережья на общественном транспорте. Номера просторные, кровати большие. У меня была спальня на втором этаже с видом на речку и мини балкончиком, рассветы при восходе солнца просто восхитительны.

Sauber , Freundlich und ne super Lage, ca 5 -10 Minuten zu Fuss in der Altstadt . Ich würde es wieder Buchen. Hatt das Zimmer in der 3 Etage vorne Raus, mit Flussblick. Hinten raus schaut man wohl auf eine Metallwand

The owner is helpful and accomodation is really great! Shower is wonderful and mattress and sheets are clean and of good quality. An awesome view.

I booked directly with the hostel and was happy to receive many perks! The location is close to the centre, walking distance from the Cathedral and main bars with a fabulous view! The staff is excellent and will go out of their way to satisfy your demands. The hostel itself was very clean and tidy, I could not ask more for my stay in Porto after walking the Camino from Lisbon. You will not be disappointed!! Happy hostel is a happy time!!

I am happy to write a review about this hostel. Last week I and many others from my church went to a youth congress of our church. We, but also all others, were well received. People from all over the world come there and the staff shows that they are good at dealing with everyone (i myself have good memories of chatting and spending time with people over there). The rooms are good and tidy, at a very favorable price (they came out as the cheapest ones, hence my choice). Wifi connection is fine and if necessary, they are willing to increase the connection strength. the kitchen is always open for anyone who likes to cook something themselves. And there is plenty more...The hostel's location by the river makes it a very attractive place to settle down. I highly recommend this place, when it comes to all peripheral issues. But for me the staff made the difference. I would like to come back ...

Beware, solo female travelers! When I entered Happy Hostel, the man responsible for check-ins was outside conversing with another lady for a few minutes. Then he entered, greeted me, and asked if I wanted to check in. He was still in the lobby and did not go behind the reception desk. I said yes, he said ‘You need a passport’, and I got it out. But he lingered in the lobby asking me personal questions, still not going behind the reception desk to do the check-in. I felt it strange and interrupted him and said ‘Sorry, I want to check in now please.’ He became quite tense and got an angry look on the face, finally went behind the reception desk, and then asked me my name. I told him and at the same time gave him my passport. He then asked me whether I was jetlagged, and I said no. He seemed upset by this for some unknown reason. He did not enter any information from my passport nor do any check in activity at all. I was feeling even stranger especially as the other woman was gone and I was alone with this strangely behaved man. So I said I am sorry but I don't want to answer any more questions, I just want to check in. At this moment he threw my passport down on the counter with a melodramatic thwack and said my reservation was cancelled and I had to get out or he would call the police (!?) He shouted at me to get away, get out of here, you are not wanted here! So I went out of the hostel but he FOLLOWED ME OUT to the sidewalk. It was an overall bizarre and disturbing experience and I told him I would report him for it, as well as photographing the building. I also called the police to make a report as his loudness and following me around was threatening behavior and I wanted to be sure of getting protection in case he became violent. Be safe out there ladies! And best to avoid this place.

Cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. Our host Paulo was super friendly and knowledgeable and very proud of his city. Extremely clean bathrooms. Make sure to get ready to climb some stairs if you get a third floor room. I would totally stay here again.

Très bon endroit pour loger à PORTO, très proche du centre et de toutes les curiosités de la ville, le concept de cet "Appart Hotel" est basé sur les Dortoirs, l’accueil est très bon et le petit-déjeuner suffisant!

Maravilhoso, adorei. Muito bem localizado, limpo, atendimento maravilhoso, quartos ótimos, café da manhã super gostoso. O que me admirou foi a parte do banho super quente e limpo.

Lugar maravilhoso, bonito por fora e por dentro, principalmente de pessoas lindas de alma, prestativas, bem humoradas e atenciosas. Bem localizado, vista maravilhosa, perto de tudo, muito bem equipado e aconchegante. Simplesmente perfeito! Super indico...

Os Turistas Ficam a porta Horas e Horas e não tem ninguém para atender nem a campainha, nem os telefones.

Todos são muito queridos e atenciosos! O pequeno almoço é maravilhoso e o lugar é muito acolhedor! Amei minha experiência no Happy Porto Hostel.

The crew is awesome. They're always there to help you. The breakfast is good, there's bread, cheese and ham, cake, milk, cereals, juice, water, butter, coffee and tea. There's bus stop just across the road and the kitchen is good.

Very clean and nice room and bathroom. With river view. Breakfast also included in the room price. Delicious as well.

Cerca del centro pero sin estar en el bullicio. Apartamento coqueto, decorado con gusto y bien distribuido. Con menaje y cafetera. Nos han dejado un WiFi portátil que nos los podíamos llevar en el bolsillo y estar conectados. Recomendable si visitas Oporto. El personal atento y muy agradable.

Arrived in car and found a road side car park easy enough. Staff very helpful with check in. Location is excellent, right by river, great views from our riverside apartment. Exterior is typical Porto grungy - very cool. Inside is modern and spacious. Fantastic

Dobra lokalizacja, przyjemne pokoje w starej kamienicy, super wystrój, świeże produkty na śniadanie, choć mało rozmaite i dość skromne, to smaczne. Przemiła I pomocna obsługa.

Hôtel un peu excentré. Pas de places de parking contrairement à ce qui est mentionné sur le site. L appart se situe devant une rue bruyante sans climatisation, donc soit il y a du bruit soit il fait chaud. Sinon l appart est assez grand pour 3 personnes. Bon séjour à porto!

Hostel staff were very helpful and friendly. Booked an airport transfer which was good value and saved the hassle of public transport. Free wi-fi. Apartment included a fully functioning kitchenette with fridge, hub and oven. It was also cosy and bright. They also included some nice welcoming touches - bottled water in the fridge and a bottle of wine.

Very Nice apartment (family room) 10 min walk front Riveria. Good service free wifi you could bring with you. Good check in with tips and recommendations. I you are going to the explorer world that is very close to the apartment (family room)

Very nice, clean, good located place. The stone house, totally renovated, showers in dorms are almost luxorious :). Very friendly and helpful staff. Check the frige, I found a lot of free food for breakfast there left from the previous guests )).

The room was way too small for 10 ppl. You could bearly walk and be confortable. Even though we were a group of friends of 10 ppl it was a little unconfortable not to have a personal space, I couldn't imagine sharing this room w complete strangers. The ppl in the reception was ok. Location was ok also.

Our room was just as pictured, perfect for us. Bed was very comfortable and well appointed besides very neat and clean. The staff was very helpful with questions of the area and transportation.

The 5 of us stayed for 5 days, close to old town, rooms were so comfortable and amenities were great.Staff were very helpful. Arrived early so they stored our bags till checkin time,couldn't,t do enough. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with a group of friends and found the suite and washroom very clean. The building is just 10min walk away from Ribeira Square and Ponte D. Luis.
