A real gem of a hotel. Nice secluded location where one relax and unwind. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel has great pool and a very good restaurant. The wine selection at the bar/restaurant is very good as well. The breakfast is very good. The room is big, modern and overall comfortable.

Incredible and relaxing experience. A few things to note:
1) Room: modern, clean, perfect amenities .
2) Staff: enjoyable and helpful. You can tell good management and training. The co-owner took the time to speak to my wife and I at dinner, and shared some bourbon whiskey (we are American) on the house.
3) Location: in a decent, central location to Nazare. Hotel is nestled in the hills of the rural countryside. Very quiet and nice views.
Overall, fantastic. Would recommend for anyone!

Um espaço simplesmente maravilhoso. Todos os funcionários foram muito atenciosos, em especial a funcionária Rita que ganhou uma fã (a nossa filha). Hotel decorado com muito bom gosto e localizado num sítio muito agradável. O meu marido fazia anos nos dos dias da estadia e tiveram o cuidado de fazer uma surpresa ao pequeno almoço. A presença dos donos marca a diferença. A repetir!

I cant recommend this Hotel enough, its a bit off the beaten track, but that in itself was a bonus if you just want complete tranquility. Apart from the odd dog barking, it was piece and quiet. The hotel was spotless and the Food was exceptional. Views around the Hotel just emphasized the piece and quiet. It was hot while I was there, but the outdoor pool was perfect to refresh in and relax next too.All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was cleaned to an immaculate standard daily. The rooms themselves had everything you needed, and were modern and sleek, but not the usual run of the mill. Every room had its own semi private balcony or seating area.The drive to the coast was only 10 minutes, and their were surrounding towns and villages within 30 minutes of the Hotel.When I go back to Portugal, I will be staying here again.

Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich, das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Zimmer haben eine tolle Größe. Ein oder zwei Lampen im Bad mehr wären gut.Im Restaurant kann man sehr gut essen. Der Service ist hervorragend.

O hotel é muito tranquilo. Esta situado numa aldeia perto de alcobaca e tem uma vista desafogada para o vale de valado dos frades. Ficamos numa das casas separadas do corpo principal do hotel. Sao confortáveis e dao perfeitamente para 2 adultos, 2 criancas e 1 bebé. A piscina é suficiente e adequada para crianças. O espaco exterior precisava de mais sombras e árvores. O pequeno almoço é bom se bem que a simpatia dos funcionários podia ser maior. A relação preco qualidade não é das melhores.

Wenn Sie gnadenlose Stille suchen und das auch zu schätzen wissen, dann sind Sie hier genau richtig. Ein wunderschönes kuscheliges Hotel, Pool, Yakuzzi, Fitness Raum. Das Hotel liegt ca 12 Minuten vom Strand auf einem Hügel. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf das Meer und die Umgebung. Das Essen, der Wein, der Service sehr gut. Alle sehr freundlich. Ich möchte hier auch meinen besonderen Dank an Rita aussprechen.

Wir waren schon zum Vierten mal da und es ist immer noch genial.Das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend, einfach genial .Immer wieder gerne.Die Speisekarte sollte mal überarbeitet werden, aber mega fein.

Piscine salle de sport et chambre vraiment sympa et agréable. Le restaurant mériterait d’etre Mieux connu... qualité de la table exceptionnelle repas avec coucher de soleil en spectacle!! Choix du PDJ très variés et de qualité fruits frais super jus d’orange très apprécié, il va falloir une plus grande carafe! +++++Ne pas hésiter, l’adresse vaut le détour.

Estamos hospedados uma família de 2 adultos e 2 crianças na vila 305, ao chegar de uma longa viagem apenas uma criança conseguiu tomar um banho quente, no início do banho da segunda criança a água ficou fria. Ao ligar para a recepção fomos informados que as vilas possuem apenas um compartimento pequeno de água quente que normalmente “é suficiente para 4 banhos. Mentira!!!!!!! Mal é suficiente para um banho curto, que foi o nosso caso. Só fique aqui se vc gosta de banho frio, ou estiver sozinho e não tome banhos mais longos.

Modernes Hotel mit Swimmingpool und Spa-Bereich. In der Sauna gibt es Bikini- bzw. Badehosenpflicht (was mich persönlich von einem Besuch abgehalten hat). Die Zimmer sind groß und haben Balkon oder Terrasse.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war okay, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und abseits, dadurch ist man auf ein Auto angewiesen.

Très bel hôtel dans une vallée très calme loin de tout.Si vous souhaitez dîner à l’extérieur il faudra prendre la voiture et faire quelques kilomètres Chambre très spacieuse avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée. Piscine à débordement très agréable L’équipement de la chambre était bien sauf quelques éléments défaillants : chaise longue sur la terrasse, sèche cheveux, lunette des toilettes.Le personnel est disponible ne blé mais un peu froid.Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont d’excellente qualité.Bref une bonne adresse pour visiter la région.

Ich habe dieses Hotel gebucht, damit ich vor Lissabon noch ein wenig entspannen kann und dieses Gefühl hatte ich leider nicht. Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen, was mir bewusst war und was auch explizit so gewollt war, da das Hotel über einen Jacuzzi und eine Sauna verfügt. Erschreckend musste ich aber feststellen, dass man dies nur vor Ort "reservieren" musste und für den Tag an dem wir angekommen sind, war schon alles belegt. Somit mussten wir am Folgetag um 10:30 Uhr das Angebot annehmen und konnten ganze 40 Minuten runterkommen. Runterkommen wäre hier aber auch falsch, denn man hat permanent die Zeit im Blick, der Jacuzzi ist nicht der neuste und die Liegekissen sind ständig abgefallen. Entspannung war hier leider nicht gegeben. Das Personal war sehr bemüht mit allem, wir wurden auch herzlich empfangen, aber auch der Pool war nicht mal beheizt und konnte somit auch nicht genutzt werden. Für ein Hotel, welches alleine in diesem Ort ist, ist dies schon schade.

Propreté exemplaire! Hotel digne d’un 5 étoiles par rapport aux installations, buffet du matin (encore une fois tout est propre): il faisait trop froid pour se baigner mais la piscine est grande avec une vue imprenable sur le site. Vous devez avoir une voiture pour vous déplacer puisque l’hotel est un peu isolé. A 10 minutes de Nazaré. Coup de coeur pour notre séjour.

Pleasant few days in a village setting. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room. Beyond walking distance from amenities so own transport is advisable. Food at the hotel restaurant is, however, fantastic - probably the best seasoned olives and best steak I have ever eaten.

Great place for a small getaway. The staff is super friendly, they were very helpful, giving us advice on restaurants in the area, and places to visit. A nice place to stay with children. Breakfast is very good, freshly baked bread (really good!), fresh fruit.

Nice hotel, modern clean rooms recently renovated in June 2017 and most of all friendly staff. Excellent WiFi, lots of electrical outlets. Excellent east views of the Atlantic ocean during morning sunrise.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la chambre était spacieuse et nous avons pu utiliser les installations (piscine et spa). Le seul bémol serait le manque dintimité entre les terrasses.

A wonderful stay, with excellent and attentive staff. Bucolic location, which makes it very special. Outstanding dinner. Our only criticism is the bathroom design: there is no room for toiletry by the sink, uncomfortable to wash face or hands in such a tight area.( we stayed at a villa)

Sehr schönes modernes stylisches Hotel im Hinterland. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Tolle Zimmer. Mitarbeiter äußerst zuvorkommend. Eigentlich ein Geheimtipp. Stadtstrand von Nazareh in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Der Traumstrand Nazareh Nord 5 Minuten länger. Sehr geeignet für Leute, die es abseits der Masse lieben und einen individuellen Stiel bevorzugen.

Disappointed - the lands are poorly landscaped in fact much of the area onto which lower floor rooms face has not even been commenced - just weedy ploughed ground with a few seedling trees. Car park is vast expanse of white gravel - dusty. Privacy screens on verandahs inadequate and verandahs not shaded a problem especially in the afternoon for our room. Afternoon sun beat in on windows - room stifling when we checked in - nobody had cooled the room. Would be much worse in mid of summer - we were there in May. Pluses were a good gym and adequate pool and comfortable bed and good breakfast food but lousy coffee. No eateries in walking distance - so for lunch and dinner you eat at the hotel or drive. The rooms were clean but very modern and very very dark brown. Found the bathroom oppressive - so dark and a ridiculous glass door between toilet and bathroom compromises the small space. Room a good size but poor lighting in room. No useable desk or table in room for doing any work.

Hellhörig aber sonst sehr schönes Hotel. Ländlich gelegen aber z.B. nach Nazare sind es nur 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmals hier hin kommen.

Adorámos o espaço e o staff. Mas tivemos um momento bastante desagradável com a Proprietária do espaço. No momento em que tentámos sugerir uma melhoria daquilo que oferecem como "jantar romântico" que é o mesmo que dizer um jantar normal (ou pior, uma vez que fomos ignorados e esquecidos) sob a justificação: "ou restantes são clientes habituais" palavras da senhora "patroa". Sentimos que no fundo nos queriam despachar, porque tinham 2 reservas de aniversario e quanto menos confortáveis nos sentíssemos mais rápida seria a nossa refeição - nao fosse o esquecimento entre a refeição e a sobremesa, da única mesa que entretanto já estava em serviço no restaurante Golden, sem qualquer detalhe romântico a acompanhar - o restante staff preocupava-se com a preparação de detalhes dos aniversários: recepção de clientes (conhecidos), velas, entradas, bolos etc..
Esta senhora que entretanto nao gostou da nossa "abordagem sugestiva" e achou que queríamos jantar sozinhos num espaço, nem sequer nos deixava falar, desvalorizando sempre a opinião de desagrado de cliente. Espero sinceramente, que melhorem os serviços que oferecem aos vossos clientes, principalmente na apresentação do pacote romântico e para esta senhora, talvez um curso ou uma formação breve/intensiva baseada em: atendimento ao cliente, pois ela pratica precisamente o contrario do restante staff que encontramos e adorámos.sentimentos contraditórios, em que pesa sempre mais o que tiramos de negativo.

Hotel was great, beautiful room and setting..Bar and restaurant were decent, and very reasonably priced.My only negatives are: - The room smelled liked someone had been smoking in it. We complained and asked to be moved but were told there were no spare rooms and our only option was to spray air freshener (not really an acceptable answer!)- Pool was very cold - this was September so the pool had the whole summer to warm up - if the climate is not such that the pool gets warm by the end of summer the hotel may want to consider heating it. As it stands it will be freezing for most of the year.Overall though it was a great hotel and I would recommend
