Doesnt really have a bar. Its a new hotel, it was a private house until a couple of years ago. The included breakfast was good. The rooms are huge. Ive never stayed in a larger hotel room. I think the one I stayed in used to be the library. The bathroom in my room was enormous. Theres a nespresso machine in the room with some complimentary pods. It runs more like a bed and breakfast. If youre looking for a full on hotel, this probably isnt the place for you. The surrounding gardens are beautiful. The pool is nice with a million dollar view of the Moorish Castle. Its a short walk (4 blocks) to the train station. You can walk to everything in Sintra if youre in mediocre shape. We took a tuk-tuk up to the Pena Palace, saw the Moorish castle, and walked back down to the hotel in one day. That hill is steep. lol. The surrounding restaurants are cheap and every one we stopped at had good food. Theres a laundromat within easy walking distance of the hotel. There is parking if youre crazy enough to drive in Portugal. For the money this is a cant miss property.

Absolutely fantastic. It is a converted mansion. Our room is on the main floor believe was once the study room. It is huge and full of wood scent. The breakfast is absolutely rich with quality food. Reception is super helpful.We would for sure recommend it.

This hotel has very beautiful natural garden. The view from the garden was amazing. Best hotel for couple. Room rate was a little bit pricey. I made a reservation for twin room but we got a double bed room.

A notre arrivée la chambre n était pas disponible. On nous a reloger dans une chambre d hôte loin du centre. Nous avons payé pour des prestations que nous n avons pas eu. Ça nous a gâché notre séjour à Sintra .

Being a small hotel, every guest is treated with absolute utmost care. The check-in time, check-out time, breakfast time etc are totally flexible as there are only 9 guests to serve at a time and the staff do their best to suit the needs of each and every one! The breakfast buffet needs a special, super-duper mention. In Europe, its very rare that you get to see something at all in it, that's vegetarian. Here, there were not 1 or 2 but 4 varieties, 4 options in freshly prepared sauteed/boiled/fried vegetables!!! Every evening, something special is organized like a Fado performance (traditional folk music), magic or so along with a wine service

Beautiful property with uniquely decorated rooms. The staff were amazing hosted a private Faro performance with a wine tasting in the evening.

A truly wonderful accommodation to base your travels while in Sintra. The service was top notch and friendly, the property is a mix of old world Portugal and charming modern hotel. A wonderful breakfast spread and a short walk to the main Sintra train/bus station.
All in all, would certainly recommend this hotel if you’re planning on spending some time in the foothills.

Absolutely fabulous stay in this unique hotel. Amazing view of the Sintra hills. Staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Great breakfast too! Very kid-friendly.

Exceptional service and professional staff. Great food, very clean rooms, stunning grounds. There was a wine tasting along with appetizers every evening along with fado music, and a magic show! Loved this stay!

Gorgeous garden and facility that was immaculately clean. Large and quiet room nicely decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient location and parking. Breakfast was wonderful! Would love to stay here again.

This hotel is fabulous in every way. The location, view, accommodation and staff are great. Complimentary breakfast and wine and snacks at 6 pm each night.What really put things over the top for us was the service. Every single person was so friendly and caring. They really made our stay special. Thank you!!!Apologies if some of my photos are sideways. I wasnt sure how to change the orientation.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms and beds are extremely comfortable, and the staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. They helped arrange tours and recommended excellent restaurants. Our family had a wonderful holiday stay.

Must mention the outstanding service that we received. We had a small issue with an extra bed, and they instantly gave us an extra room for free for a very minor problem, unbelievable.
The people working there were really nice, kind and cheerful.
The rooms we got were glorious and magnificent. It was comfortable and beautiful. The toilet was nearly as big as the bedroom, and that had a freaking chandelier in that toilet.
Would recommend to anyone for a wonderful experience, and we will hopefully visit again.

Sort of a Sintra Las Vegas accommodation. Rooms lavishly and ornately decorated. Entire bathroom in back- lit pink marble. Gilt lighting mixed with modern furniture. Heavy drapes.Evening wine & cheese, and on alternate evenings, entertainment (magician, fado). Wonderful breakfast spread with omelets.Staff were very attentive, helpful and gracious.A special place to explore a special place (within walking distance).

This property left my friends and I speechless. Totally exceeded my expectations. I mean, I had quite high expectations because it’s called a palace, I mean come on. Wow. Wow. I didn’t not want to leave. This place is MAGNIFICENT. I felt like I was in a fairytale. The property is phenomenal. Gorgeous mountain view. The staff went above and beyond- wow exceeded any expectations I had. Property is spotless, you could eat off of the marble floor. Happy hour at 6pm with all you can drink wine and charcuterie board—we were in full participation. I cannot day enough wonderful things about this hotel...palace. We felt like royalty and did not want to leave. This place is truly the best hotel/accommodation I have ever stayed in and I have traveled to many cities around the world. Phenomenal. 10 stars.

This hotel is one of the finest hotels we have every stayed in. Our room was beyond beautiful. It has all gorgeous accoutrements. Our room was beyond spectacular, We had two separate showers, a separate bathtub and a second bathroom. The surroundings are gorgeous. The breakfast room has magnificent views of the Moorish castle and is a short walk into town. (You dont want to drive into town because there is no parking.) The breakfast was excellent and on Friday we were serenaded with a violin concert. Try it, you will agree with me. Staff was beyond compare.

This is my favorite "hotel" of all times. It is not a hotel, it is literally a palace!!! Rooms are incredible, service off the chart amazing, and Carlos, the guy who works here, is probably the best hotel staff person I have ever met. He is always here for you for any questions, service, and to help you out if you mess something with the luggage, by your mistake. Saved me. I would give 6 stars to this palace if I could.

We had a girls trip and there were 4 of us. Hotel was absolutely gorgeous with beautiful rooms , super comfy bed and pillows with high end Hansgrohe bath ware. Place was located in a quiet area with beautiful surroundings yet a short walk away from the city center. Breakfast was delicious, staff were very friendly and we loved the complimentary evening wine tastings paired with cheese and finger foods.
A band was playing during one of the evenings and the ambience coupled with the view from the back of the hotel was simply wonderful.
Would love to re - visit one day.

The property is beautiful. View of castle walls from the back garden as well as Palace are breathtaking. Its spotlessly clean with a stylish decor... Our room/suite was a garden view. The website pictures dont do it justice. Room was larger than expected, and so many lovely touches. Couldnt have asked for more in terms of decor & comfortThe staff went out of their way to be helpful. Had a real passion about Sintra and its history. Gave us so many tips for planning the day, were to eat different treks etc. The hosted a nightly wine and cheese event with different nightly music performances, during which we got to meet other guests a hat about there castle visits etc

Perfect location, accommodation and service with a view of the moorish castle. Far enough away from the tourist bus crush. Given excellent directions to hike to the castle and the Pena palace and back. Also excellent recommendation on restaurant for dinner in town. Marble floors in the lobby and breakfast room and bathroom in our room was almost entirely marble. Fantastic happy hour with magician and breakfast spread. The only problem was we only stayed one night.

Bell hotel tranquillo nel caos turistico di sintra. comodo alla stazione (dove partono gli autobus turistici) , ma un po' distante dal centro (circa 20 minuti a piedi). la camera era spaziosa , comoda e pulita.colazione raffinata servita in veranda con una splendida vista su sintra. da sottolineare i pavoni che passeggiano tranquilli nel cortile in mezzo agli ospiti...

This hotel was amazing from start to finish. Lots of lovely special touches. The service was exceptional. We stayed for 3 nights in mid-August. Couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Great location for the old town. Very in keeping with Sintra vibe. Book it - you won’t be disappointed

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. Our only regret was we were her for only 1 night. The property is stunningly beautiful. The grounds were beautiful gardens and was very quiet and peaceful, in spite of being within walking distance to many restaurants and tourist spots. We were blown away when we pulled in the gate. It seemed they thought of every detail. Parking on property a major plus, the staff were so helpful and accommodating.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. It is located slightly away from the main square in Sintra; however, it is very easy to walk to (approx 10-15 min). The grounds are truly spectacular and the rooms are finished with every last detail—true elegance and beauty. I would highly recommend staying here on your visit to Sintra. We stayed for two nights.

We loved to stay here in this beautiful palace. Beautiful location, amazing view, lovely breakfast with champagne Personal touch everywhere. Very warm and welcoming people. Carlos at the reception gave us good advices, had always patience to help us, solve our problems or tell about the region. Thank you for all the people at Marmòris for making our stay so beautiful and relaxing.

This is a very charming and welcoming hotel. Out room was very comfortable and their breakfast was just fantastic. They had a several varieties of smoked fish, juices, many cheeses, and other options. Their heated swimming pool was an amazing treat too!

Encantador hotel con vistas preciosas a la sierra de Sintra. Decorado con marmol lo que le da nombre al lugar y un aire lujoso. A un breve paseo de distancia (unos 10 minutos) del centro de Sintra pero suficientemente apartado para que el bullicio habitual no estorbe la tranquilidad y paz del lugar. La habitación era cómoda, grande, decorada de forma personalizada con buen gusto (nos tocó la habitación "biblioteca"). El servicio muy amable y atento, el bar es bueno con precios muy razonables y el desayuno incluido es continental con productos de mucha calidad (mención especial al queso "amantegaido" y los embutidos). En resumen 10/10.

Para suíte estávamos há espera de um pouco mais fazíamos anos de casados quando viemos do jantar tínhamos champanhe não muito fresco com frutas coberta com chocolate que não gostei nada mas em comparação com os quartos eram lindíssimos eu vi dois e sai de lá com muita pena de não ficar mais um dia mas num quarto não não numa suíte ,o atendimento uma excelente simpatia adorei só não gostei da surpresa da champanhe e da fruta ainda se fosse uns bombons
