Stunning property every room is beautifully designed. The gardens are a wonderful tranquil retreat. Lovely atmosphere and Ana is a charming and efficient hostess. Always happy to provide touring advice and help if required. We planned on spending 2 nights and ended up staying for 5 the place was so wonderful. Great breakfast and lovely evening meals in the garden. Highly recommend to friends and family. Beautiful region to stay with lots to do in the area.

Um excelente espaço, a responsável é amorosa e super disponível. O sítio é lindo a qualquer altura do ano. Fica relativamente perto do Gerês, de carro faz-se muito bem. As condições, são muito boas, é tudo muito acolhedor e dá vontade de voltar. O preço é a única situação, que considero um pouco elevada para o que oferece. Mas irei certamente voltar.

Estive pela segunda vez a Casa do Eido com meu companheiro pois gostava de apresentá-lo àquele pedaço de paraíso no enclave do Gerês. Estava acompanhando de uma amiga e de sua mãe que tem 80 anos e é muito bem disposta e lépida. A Ana Sousa como sempre foi muito gentil, atenciosa, e nos deixou escolher uma gigantesca e maravilhosa suite, com ante-sala, closet e uma super casa de banho. A minha amiga e a mãe, ficaram em um belo e amo quarto e sem banheira , para facilitar a mobilidade, sem riscos de queda, mas mesmo assim muito bem decorado. O café da manhã é sempre um quesito a parte bem como os jantares que ainda fomos celebrados com a refeição preparada pela mãe dela e com a presença do pai. A noite ficávamos a conversar em frente à lareira, navegando em nossos celulares as vezes, olhando as fotos realizadas durante o dia ou simplesmente relaxando. Vale a pena sempre. Só é ruim, muito triste e frustrante ter de ir embora. Até passear pelo belo Gerês fica uma tarefa mais difícil, pois abandonar por algumas horas, todo aquele conforto e relaxing moments. SUPER RECOMENDO SEMPRE !

O local é excelente e com ótimas condições. Os quartos estão muito bem conservados e limpos. O pequeno almoço tem uma enorme variedade de opções. A dona do local é de uma grande simpatia e preocupação para que tudo corra de forma excelente.

We loved this beautiful guest house, which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by Ana, the helpful and gentle owner. Its set in magnificent, tranquil and quiet surroundings, and above all natural and eco friendly. Our room and bathroom were perfect and immaculately clean with furnishings to match the age and history of the house. Anas breakfasts are superb with organic and locally sourced ingredients. She makes her own yogurt, jams and freshly squeezed orange juice (no cheap packet ones here) and cakes. The bread is freshly baked each day from a local bakery. Her garden is a joy to walk round, with herbs, lavender and fruit trees (a persimmon tree which weve never seen before) and many more plants, vines and trees to see. There is also a water trough in the garden with water trickling down from the mountains which is pure and natural and safe to drink.There are many walks and areas around to explore, and a lovely restaurant a few miles away in a converted monastery serving delicious meals. Her house is not easy to find, as not sign posted from the road or available on Sat Nav, so we would suggest obtaining directions from Ana before setting off and not end up at the top of a winding narrow mountain road like we did!

This is a wonderful place. Located at a long and windy road you may find peace and quiet here. The owner is very nice and helpful - we arrived very late but she stayed up and arranged everything beautifully. The rooms are spacious and have a great view in the garden or towards the mountains. Also the breakfast is really good with freshly baked goods and everything else you could wish for. This is a perfect stay of you like to explore the National park.

Go for it! Ana is great and the place is calm, clean and beautiful + breakfast is handmade and so tasty! Don't miss the opportunity!

Wir waren begeistert von Unterkunft u Service u Frühstück. Leider nur für eine Nacht. Hier hält mans länger. Ist zwar einsam gelegen, aber guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Nationalpark o zum Wandern. Sehr freundliche junge Besitzerin. Auf einer Scala von 10 würde sie die volle Punktzahl erreichen. Frühstück mit sehr viel Obst, Schinken, Käse, versch Brotsorten, Marmelade, frischen Säften ...

Das schönste Hotel in dem wir jemals waren. Ein unfassbar tolles,kleines Juwel. Die wenigen Zimmer sind ganz neu und sehr geräumig und supersauber. In der Regendusche haben 4 Leute Platz. Mit beheiztem Kamin in der Lobby, gemütlicher Pergola vor dem Pool und alles supercharmant eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ultralecker mit frischen Früchten,Obst,Schinken...alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Betreiberin ist supernett , sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Wer hier nicht entspannen kann, der macht etwas falsch :-) Man hat das Gefühl bei sehr guten Freunden zu übernachten. Parkplätze direkt vorm Haus Weiterempfehlungsrate: 101%
