That place was a surprise at every turn! Narrow entrance from the street giving to a "tower" with multiple gardens, terraces, a grotto, azulejos on many walls, a chapel, and from a weird half hidden garden in the back, even view on the Atlantic!... We appreciated the comfort and quietness of our room in the modern part of the hotel, but the historic tower is a must-see! It hosts some bedrooms and the breakfast room in an incredible Art Deco atmosphere.
The hotel is perfectly located to allow you to come by car (parking on site for a fee), and to reach the city center and touristic area in a matter of minutes with the modern metro of Porto.

Amazing hotel where photos beforehand did not do it justice. Very well maintained historic building with modern rooms added on in stylish fashion.Lovely grounds and premises all super secure, including on site parking. All staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. Location was a short (10 minute downhill) walk to city centre.

Los chicos ee la recepción muy amables el sitio precioso pero madrugar muy poco para el desayuno por lo que si sales del hotel antes de las 8:00 olvídate del desayuno y no hay ascensor cosa que no te avisan hasta que llegas no hay cafetería ni nada

We chose this Hotel because it had character and we were not disappointed. It was lovely to have gardens and a calm space in a big city. Although it was a bit further out than some hotels it was close to a Metro stop. Staff helpful with good tips for local restaurants.

Ehemaliges Privathaus eines Stofffabrikanten.
Die Innenausstattung ist sehr original, unser Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber charmant. Das Bad hat herrliche Fliesen.
Leider im dritten Stock -ohne Fahrstuhl- besser nur mit leichtem Gepäck reisen.
Das Hotel liegt 10-15 min von der Altstadt ( bergab) entfernt. Die Umgebung ist etwas vernachlässigt
Es gibt viele bewachte Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Der Concierge spricht gut Englisch

Very nice place, for a correct price! Ask for room 203, it has a garden as a view, perfect at sunset! A bit of walk to reach the metro line, the neighborhood is a bit popular but we spent a good time there!

Bellissimo hotel! La stanza della colazione sembrava veramente quella di un castello, colazione super rifornita di ogni prodotto sia dolce che salato.
Reception 24/24, personale gentilissimo.
Unica piccola pecca la nostra stanza era accanto alla reception e spesso sentivamo suonare il campanello, ma ha ripagato la dimensione della stanza (era una tripla) con bagno ampio e bellissimo. Ottima pulizia.

Le lieu est exceptionnel mais je n'en dirais pas autant quand à l'honnêteté du personnel... j'ai oublié dans ma chambre une petite pochette avec des bijoux de valeur... malgré ma réclamation.... j'ai reçu une fin de non recevoir... donc attention.... soyez vigilant

Villa del SXIX convertida en hotel. Ambiente agradable. Alejada del centro pero fácilmente asequible. El desayuno se realiza en habitaciones que mantienen mobiliario y decorado típico de la villa, todo muy bien ordenado, personal amable y la oferta es muy variada. Magníficos jardines. La única pega es que no cuenta con ningún servicio de cafetería, aunque sea mínimo. Si uno llega de noche pues la única opción es salir para poder cenar, consumir algo o simplemente comprar agua.

The building is beautiful and the location not too bad, though the conditions could be better. Our bedroom was by the stairs and there was a lot of noise when people passed by. The breakfast was good though. Also, we loved the local cat resident.

Castle amazing! Staff fantastic! If you don’t mind walking, are planning to hire a car or do not have an issue with taxis then location will not be an issue. Thank you for our take away breakfast which both my husband and I enjoyed at the airport

Un lugar con mucho encanto.
nuestra habitación (106 )tenía dos habitaciones un Hall de entrada con sus butacas minibar y televisión.
El baño tenía ducha con efecto lluvia y bañera, todo muy nuevo y limpio.
Además tenía un pequeño porche fuera con un toldito una pequeña mesa de exterior y un sofá en el que se estaba de lujo.
El comedor precioso con una lámpara de época todo con madera tallada precioso.
a pesar de no tener mucha variedad estaba todo muy bueno y cada día hacían una tarta diferente creo que casera....
Y como no hay que nombrar a la gatita que es la reina del Castillo muy cariñosa y un encanto para las niñas.....

I simply love this hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the castle itself is gorgeous, and its in the perfect location for me when I visit Porto. The breakfast is also very good! I look forward to visiting in summer next time, when its possible to sit outside and enjoy the garden area.

Amazing building- original features. Beautiful Portuguese tiles decorating both inside and outside. Family run and the owner continues to upgrade the facilities to a high standard. All the staff go out of their way to help. This was our second visit and hopefully not our last.

A very beautiful and unique hotel. I was given a room that was like a chic little house separate from the main building, I wanted to stay longer. The shower was like my dream shower, it had a shower head, then a rain shower overhead, then multiple water jets. Also, I love the cat! I got a surprise when I found the cat in reception, then from that point the cat always came around the hotel. The breakfast was fine for me, hot drinks are available from the machine - the hot chocolate was perfect! I also had cake at breakfast, there was a variety of bread, jam, butter and some other pastries. The reception staff were always present and kind.
The location is a bonus. In a few minutes I could walk into the busy city area so I could visit the shops. But since it was not directly in the centre, it was totally quiet and I could not hear any traffic at night. I slept excellently!

UNPLEASANT, INCOMPETENT STAFF... The agent at the reception desk (who did both our check-in and check-out) was extremely rude, he didn't tell us anything about the property, nor did he welcome us at 2 pm when we got there or bid us farewell upon our departure... I informed him upon arrival that the bath in the Royal Suite (room 122) was not clean - there were black hairs in it -, he shrugged his shoulders and stated that the maid had cleaned it; and that was it! When we got back that evening, the bath was in the exact same state in which we left it... There was also dirt on the carpet under the bed, as well as encrusted black hairs all over the hairdryer... not very pleasant... The shower was very narrow and had no shower curtain, making it difficult to move freely... Besides, the hairdryer had to be activated manually, by continually pressing a button, which is inconvenient if one has long hair, taking a while to dry... I got finger cramps after each shower!... The ventilation in the bathroom was by the way insufficient, humidity was accumulating very fast. In the room, the furniture was decorative only, and very hard to use because of its age and impressive dimensions - opening the closet door, for instance, was a hassle, as some piece always threatened to come off... As for the bed, it was hard as rock and very uncomfortable. The big pillows were also too firm, impossible to sleep on! The sound-proofing was non-existent - we could hear the toilet being flushed upstairs, people talking in the corridor (once, a happy party woke us up at midnight!), and even the traffic outside... It proved a real challenge to get a good night's rest. The fridge turned out as superfluous as the furniture, for it did not cool anything... I needed it to store some medication, and it proved utterly inefficient... Moreover, there is no air conditioning in the common areas of the hotel nor in the breakfast room, which can be very uncomfortable on hot days, as well as inappropriate for the food, stored at such high temperatures for the duration of the breakfast. Lastly, the hotel is situated far from the river bank (35-40 min by foot) and fairly far from the city center (25 min by foot), which is distressing on heatwave days. Unfortunately, there are very few positive aspects to this hotel (breakfast, air conditioning in the room), which has otherwise proved a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT on all fronts : if the atmosphere is authentic and the gardens carefully tended, the facilities inside the Castle are archaic & unpractical and the staff, utterly IMPOLITE! The only suggestion I can make is : "Go elsewhere!"

El hotel es muy bonito, cuando fuí estaba en pbras, creo que haciendo unos baños exteriores. El lugar es muy acogedor, el desayuno es impecable y muy fresco, las camareras siempre pendientes y atentas. 3l ascensor de entrada para discapacitados no funciona, almenos eso me dijeron (creo que lo tenian apagado para no gastar electricidad), las habitaciones grandes, espaciosas pero muy humedas, toda la noche respiramos humedad. Los jardines muy lindos aunque estabamos en invierno. Les doy esta puntuación por lo siguiente :
1. Hay un inventario de las toallas y vasos que dispone la habitacion (me sentí como acusado de intentar robarles de estrada) y si les soy sincero, los paños de cocina de mi casa son de mejor calidad.
2. En el salón de desayuno hay un aviso que dice literalmente "penalizacion de 15€ para quienes saquen comida al exterior", tambien me sentí señalado y tratado de ladrón. No sé que tipo de gente frecuenta el hotel, mas aún cuando pagamos 108€ una noche en temporada baja que pueda robar toallas o robar comida.
3. Aunque aseguran que el agua del grifo es potable, no colocan ni una botella de agua ni ningún lugar de donde buscarla,
Por eso deduje que el ascensor estaba apagado al principio del comentario. Siento mucho dar estas criticas porque el sitio me gustó mucho y lo escogí justamente porque lo vi muy lindo como lugar para descansar una noche en nuestro viaje a Porto.

Un castillo con mucha personalidad. La decoración es acorde a la época. La ubicación está a pocos cientos de metros del centro, alejado del bullicio de los bares y discotecas. Tiene varias habitaciones modernas en el jardín y parking de pago.

Modern-zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Sehr nettes Personal.
Am Abreisetag ein Lunchpaket bekommen (vorher angefragt), weil keine Frühstückszeit war.
Gut gelegen (Metro: Marques) in 4 Minuten. Individuelle Einrichtung im Haupthaus.

Hotel en edificio historico de Oporto, algo lejos del puerto y de la zona mas turistica, pero a unos 20 mins a pie. El edificio principal mantiene buena parte de la decoracion y materiales originales, y tiene cierto encanto. Nosotros nos hospedamos en una habitacion bastante en un edificio en el centro del patio, a modo de "casita", espaciosa, limpia y razonablemente nueva. Como pega, la mampara de nuestro baño no cerraba correctamente y siempre se salia el agua, empapando el suelo y toallas. El desayuno se sirve en una primera planta con acceso por escaleras, por lo que la accesibilidad no es total. El desayuno en si bastante correcto, con hievos, bacon, fruta fresca, bolleria del dia (mas o menos artesana y rica) maquina de cafe realmente buena, y fiambres muy normalitos. En general ha sido buena estancia, el personal muy amable y atento, y pese a que quizas buscaria otra opcion para otra vez lo califico con un 7,5.

Sjouwen met tassen de steile trappen op. Geen hulp. Ontbijt was pech. Ik moest te vroeg weg en daarom wel betalen maar geen ontbijt. Geen bereidheid om praktisch even wat regelen. Verder geen brandtrap. Voelt onveilig.

I stayed at this hotel after having my flight cancelled, and despite it being the early hours of the morning the receptionist was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very nice, and were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely excellent, with a lot of selection of hot food, fruit, pastries, and such. Despite my circumstances I really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely recommend!

Hotel der Spitzenklasse. Die Zimmer im Neubau sind geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Ruhige Lage, schöne Gartenanlage, Parkplatz auf dem eingezäunten Gelände. Vielfältiges Frühstück, netter Service. Im Altbau riecht es ziemlich nach Weihrauch, ist nicht jedermanns Sache. U-Bahn-Haltestelle für Fahrten von und zum Zentrum ist nicht weit.

If you are going to Porto think about to stay at Castelo Santa Catarina. The building from 1887 is beautiful and very well restored and maintained. You feel like staying in a museum. Great. The staff, headed by João is very kind. My wife and I stayed in the one of new rooms and they are great. The breakfast is good too. So, I strong recommend to stay there.

Amazing building. We stayed in the suite at the top of the tower and it was surreal. Fantastic views. Need to be fit to climb the 4 flights of stairs. Breakfast delicious and wide choice buffet. Very friendly staff.

Il posto è unico.
Questa residenza fu costruita nel 1887 da un ricco imprenditore per la sua famiglia e per i suoi ospiti, utilizzando quanto di più ricco e farzoso potesse incontrare in quegli anni opulenti. Si narra invece che la residenza fosse per la sua amante..? La camera patronale è la schiuma del neobarocco, un accenno lo troviamo nelle sale per la colazione.
Le nuove camere (molto più sobrie e rassicuranti) hanno ridotto il giardino che ancora rimane prezioso. WIFI migliorata!

We stayed in the tower upstairs and our room was great. Cozy space with all necessary facilities. Room had Aircon and the bathroom was very spacious. Parking was good and is monitored 24hrs. Staff were very accommodating and spoke English which made check in easy.

Everything was perfect - the staff was really nice and made our stay unforgettable; the castle is impressive and the facilities were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the atmosphere in the dining room could not be better. Very impressed by the experience overall and at a very reasonable price. A estadia aqui foi maravilhosa! Só posso recomendar! Café da manhã também valeu muito a pena. Mas pra valer a pena tem que ficar no castelo!
Só a região em volta do castelo não é a das melhores, mas centro é centro em todos os lugares do mundo. Em compensação dá pra andar até o centro e fazer bastante a pé e voltar de táxi ou uber (bem baratos os dois).

Good Location. Bus stop just opposite. Metro 5 min walking. Center just 15 min lazy walking. Easy to find castle. Good security. Castle has own territory with fence and parking. Nice garden. The interior of the castle is luxurious. Like in the museum. There is castle and new building. We stayed in the castle. Rooms are different in the castle.so read description and choose right for you. Delicious breakfast every day in beautiful room for breakfast . Stuff was nice and helpful every time we asked . Always with kind smile. We had a nice room with all amenities we need incide . Heating works well. Tea bags added every day. Spacious terrace with great views. Bathroom Well renovated. Stuff provided cosmetics every day. WiFi - good and fast. There is nice cat wich like to find companies for the evening.

Amazing! Reading the other comments, you can understand that the hotel offers various sizes of rooms so your stay depends on your choice of rooms. We had the grand suite with a private terrace of maybe 40 m2 with a breathtaking view on the city. The room was big, superbly decorated and comfortable. Bathroom was very modern and comes with quality cosmetics products. Breakfast was also good.
The staff is always very kind and very polite. Note that the hotel is secured and offers parking. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel and the metro is 5 mn away. Walking to the centre takes roughly 15 mn.

Lindo lugar, o castelo e um show a parte com suas paredes, tetos e decoração. O café da manhã é ótimo também. Ótima opção pra quem vai pra Porto apesar de não ficar as margens do rio, é possível ir andando sem grandes problemas ou pegar o transporte público (tem estações de metrô bem perto) para o centro e rua do hotel vira um calçadão onde cheio de lojas e o famoso Majestic Café.

Nettes Personal. Wer in einem Schloss wohnen möchte, ist hier richtig. Wir hatten eine Suite im neuerrichtetem Gebäude. Haben uns aber auch ein Romantikzimmer im Castelo angesehen. Frühstück war super.

A unique and charming hotel. We stayed in the ultra-modern Garden View suite. Breakfast for all rooms are served on the first floor of the Castelo which is beautifully appointed and furnished.All our issues were dealt with promptly and efficiently. A wonderful venue in a fantastic holiday destination.

The staff was super friendly, its a beautiful facility and we enjoyed a great breakfast each morning. My only real complaint is that the beds were the worst Ive slept in in ten years (yes, worse than hostel beds). I stayed in a triple with three twin beds with my daughter, and the beds were so uncomfortable I woke up feeling like I had aged 10 years. We werent getting the quality or quantity of sleep we needed and it put a big damper on our whole trip. I simply cant recommend a hotel with beds like this to any fellow human-being. If they were to update the beds, this would be a wonderful hotel. Not remotely as important, the location is a pretty far walk from the river area, and its a steep down-hill walk, meaning youve got a massive workout ahead of you to get back to the hotel after dinner. Fortunately, Ubers are only 5 EUR in Porto.

Lovely hotel friendly staff. Good breakfast. We were in a 2 bedroom room. There are other rooms that are beautifully decorated. Make sure your in castle section. Parking available at a fee. Would recommend this hotel. The area is close to most things. It is slightly run down but it is very safe.

Bellissima esperienza soggiornare in qs castello, un tuffo nel passato! Interni e arredi d'epoca con saloni eleganti e rifiniture raffinate. Torri avvolte dal volo e dal rilassante stridio dei gabbiani. Camere un po' sacrificate ma ripagate dall' arredo. Magnifica colazione con eccellente varietà, favolosi e vari i dolcetti, servizio attento. Belli anche gli esterni con cappella privata. Vicino al centro, è dotato di un parcheggio privato a pagamento (10 €) ma la direzione è molto flessibile per il tempo di stazionamento.

The hotel itself is unique, its like a real castle. The security is at the top level, the reception is amazing and very helpful. Everybody speak English. The breakfast was good. A metro station Margues is 5 mins walk. If you have a mobility issue make sure that your room is not in the castle, there is no elevator there

De eerste dag verbleven we in de kamer naast de receptie. De kamer was charmant en heel schoon. Echter wel erg gehorig. De volgende ochtend heb ik dit doorgegeven aan de receptionist. Hij heeft meteen - zonder al te moeilijk te doen - ons een kamer uit het ‘nieuwe’ deel gegeven. Een heerlijk ruime kamer met alleen aan een kant buren. De andere kant lag aan de tuin. De kamer en badkamer waren brandschoon en het bed lag erg comfortabel. Daarnaast ligt het hotel op loopafstand van het centrum.
Het ontbijt is divers en redelijk goed. De koffie vonden wij persoonlijk niet erg lekker. Maar de ambiance maakt veel goed.
Omdat de receptionist zo snel en adequaat heeft gehandeld, geeft ik dit hotel 5 sterren.

Tja, wat moet je er van zeggen. Als je in het klassieke deel slaapt heb je botte pech. Kamers zo groot als een kleerkast, bedden zo hard als een plank! Alleen trappen, geen lift.... fijn vonden wij wel dat het mogelijk was om lekker buiten te ontbijten in plaats van de enigszins bedompte ontbijtruimte.

Clearly a beautiful place to stay; not to far - just a 15 minutes walk - from the city centre. Quiet at night and a very friendly staff. The hotel offers a safe place for parking at €10,- a day. The breakfast is not too bad, but could improve easily when offered fresh pastry instead of stuff from a cheap supermarket and a proper fresh cafe. As it was raining in Porto all day during our stay , the free umbrella was much appreciated.

Wir hatten ein wundervolles Turmzimmer, mit zwei Balkonen, es war klein aber sooo schnucklig.Die ganze Anlage ist wie ein Museum gestaltet und auch so bewundernswert. Wir bekamen tolle Tipps vom Hotelmanager und haben das urige Viertel genossen. Vielen Dank!

No site Não há informação de que não há elevador para acesso aos dormitórios, assim, na reserva não tem como saber onde fica o quarto, o nosso foi no terceiro piso para subir com malas e escadas bem íngremes.

El hotel estaba en obras, llamamos por la mañana para confirmar la reserva y aún así no nos informaron, la única solución que nos dieron fue hacer una rebaja de diez euros al día, aún así nos pareció poco pues a parte de no haber ninguna vista puesto que el andamiaje y la tela cubría todo el hotel, era bastante incómodo la presencia de los obreros al rededor de las ventanas, parecían un huésped más. Las habitaciones preciosas y cuidando el detalle de decoración pero la calidad del colchón y de las almohadas deja mucho que desear, el clima de la habitación extremo o te morías de frío o te asabas de calor, y el desayuno nada del otro mundo zumo de bote y bollería industrial vamos que lo recomiendo para ir a verlo y hacerte cuatro fotos pero nada mas

Il luogo è di grande fascino, camera pulita con bagno finestrato.Sembra di vivere in una resistenza privata.Il parcheggio interno è a pagamento 10€ al giorno .Il prezzo della camera ha un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.Vicino la metropolitana si arriva con 3/4 fermate in centro.la colazione è ottima sia dolce che salata, l ‘espresso invece non è sufficiente.

La limpieza de revista, excepto en las paredes, las grandes olvidadas en gran número de hoteles. El desayuno completo y de calidad, el café muy bueno. El personal muy amable. El alojamiento es un alojamiento con mucho encanto y romántico. Un fallo estuvo en la ducha que al no tener mampara se llenó todo el suelo de agua, supongo que solo tiene cortina porque era un baño preparado para minusválidos, pero lo vi un poco peligroso.

Très joli hôtel mais manque un point d'eau (piscine ou autre), manque un vrai coin bar snack. Chambre à côté de l'accueil, jolie, spacieuse et fonctionnelle mais mal isolée du bruit (on ne peut pas faire de grasse matinée à cause du bruit des roulettes sur le pavés, du bruit des escaliers et de la porte qui mènent au petit déjeuner). Dommage que l'on ne puisse pas petit déjeuner dehors. Le choix est assez varié pour le buffet, dommage que tout ne soit pas de qualité.

En cuanto a la decoración, el castillo es precioso: sus jardines, las habitaciones (hablo de las antiguas del castillo), la zona de desayuno...
Hay que tener en cuenta que existen dos zonas: una que da directamente al jardín, sin escaleras y más moderna. Y otra zona (donde me alojé) con la decoración en armonía con el resto del edificio. Aquí las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado (incluso las suites) y para acceder a ella hay bastantes escaleras (en mi caso un tercer piso) lo que resulta engorroso por el equipaje.
Disponen de parking y son punto de venta de los autobuses turísticos.
El desayuno muy completo: café, leche, infusiones, cereales, fruta, bollería, panes, huevos, bacon, salchichas, champiñones y zumo (aunque este último no era natural).
En cuanto a la ubicación, está a unos 15 minutos caminando del centro de Oporto.

Besonderes Hotel in fußläufiger Nähe zum Zentrum von Porto.Wir waren im neuen Teil des Hotels untergebracht. Es war neu und modern eingerichtet.Das Zimmer war groß und sauber.Morgens haben wir im Castelturm in einem wunderschönen Ambiente gefrühstückt.Die Eigentümer haben uns persönlich während des Frühstücks bedient und waren außerordentlich freundlich.Sie haben uns gerne die Geschichte des Castels berichtet.

Lhôtel en soi est très bien. Toutefois, les alentours de lhôtel ne sont pas invitants (quartier en décrépitude) et lhôtel est assez loin des centres dintérêts touristiques. Le personnel sur place (sauf une personne qui nétait là que le dernier jour) nétait pas en mesure de nous faire des recommandations intéressantes (restaurants, visites, etc.) et nous donnait limpression de ne pas bien connaître les restaurants, ni ce quil y avait à visiter et à voir dans les environs. Ils nous ont fait des recommandations erronées à quelques reprises et souvent, nous recevions des informations contradictoires de la part du personnel. Cest fort dommage que dans un hôtel dune telle qualité (car le site est très beau), le personnel de lhôtel ne soit pas à la hauteur pour donner des informations, pourtant de base, à ses clients (par exemple, recommandation de restaurants ouverts le jour de Pâques).

Hotel in an exquisite mansion. Efficient service, clean, we stayed in a modern room nice big windows, good size bed, kettle! but no character - just a normal building but with breath taking views of the pituresque, very Portuguese patio/garden. Breakfast was excellent - served in the elegant dinning room - words can't describe it! It is like eating in one of the rooms of the Museum of Louvre!

We had our room in the tower and loved the historic ambiente and the city view. It's a truly historic place with it's own chapel in the garden, fabric tapestry, wooden ceiling, crystal and 19th century furniture. Easy walking distance to the center and very friendly staff.

Una preciosidad de hotel, no es excesivamente grande, bien situado con un buen acceso para entrar y salir de la ciudad. Las habitaciones son funcionales, cómodas y a la vez estás en un lugar lleno de encantó y de historia. El aparcamiento, es un plus añadido, gratis en una zona céntrica de la ciudad. El interior del hotel es una magnífica mansión de época. De verdad un hotel encantador, diferente y evocador.

Gorgeous property in public spaces indoors and out. Rooms are a little underwhelming compared to the grandeur of everything else but clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Breakfast nice with stunning setting. Mass transit close, easy walk to tourist areas but out of the hectic area.

sehr schönes, altes Haus (castel) mit einem großen Garten in guter Lage. Die Anlage wirkt sehr gepflegt.Es ist sehr ruhig, die Altstadt erreicht man zu Fuß sehr gut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Das Ambiente hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Komme gerne wieder!

Lhôtel comprend une partie vieille avec tuiles, meubles anciens etc, et une nouvelle partie. En tout, une quinzaine de chambres. Nous avons dormi dans une chambre de la partie moderne. Condor parfait sauf que le soleil du matin entrant par tout le mur vitré rendait vite lendroit trop chaud. La climatisation devenait alors nécessaire. Le et it déjeuner est très bien, servi dans la partie ancienne. Le jardin est très agréable.

Das Castelo haben wir bereits zum 3. mal gebucht. Es ist eine ehemalige Burg mit herrlichem Garten u. einigen Parkplätzen. Sehr zentrumsnah, dennoch ruhig. Tolles Frühstück, schöne urige Einrichtung. Jederzeit wieder!

Un hôtel agréable, avec de beaux jardins. Un personnel très sympathique, qui parle un peu français (mais très bien langlais). Une chambre nickel avec un lit king size ! Hôtel très calme et bien situé dans Porto, pas très loin du centre et très proche dune station métro. Cest un hôtel que je conseille sans hésiter.

A good hotel within walking distance of the historic city. It provides an opulent nineteenth century experience. Be aware, if you choose a room in the tower, which does provide a great view, that you will need to climb several floors of narrow stairs. It is worth it if you are up to it.

El hotel me gustó mucho, tiene encanto a pesar de estar un poco alejado del centro de la ciudad. Sin embargo mis padres se alojaron durante el puente de diciembre y no fueron capaces de decirles que no funcionaba el televisor. Mis padres son mayores y se recogían temprano, por lo que para ellos disponer de un televisor en el que ver algún canal español era muy importante. Tampoco les ofrecieron alternativa alguna, descuento y otro tipo de cortesía.
Creo que antes de mejorar las instalaciones del hotel (que está en obras) deberían mejorar el servicio de atención al cliente, mucho más importante a mi parecer.
