06/17/2020
¡Excelente trato, servicio y comida! Terraza muy agradable y comida a buen precio. Si vuelvo a Portimão, volveré. Recomendable 100%
06/17/2020
06/17/2020
Atención excelente, comida excelente y bebida excelente.
06/17/2020
Good options for menu of the day. Excellent food, well prepared, spiced perfectly to order. Staff were all very friendly. Definitely worth a recommendation.
06/17/2020
This was by far one of the best Indian dishes I’ve had. I ordered the Chicken Biryani and it was wonderful. My girlfriend ordered the chicken vindaloo, which I thought was so good so I ordered another for myself. Not to mention, our server Rohit (I hope I spelled that right) was enthusiastic about the meals and made the experience that much better.
Customer service: 9/10
Food: 10/10
Price: 9/10
Amazing value for amazing food!
06/17/2020
The place was nice, service was excellent.
Food was good, chicken vindaloo, Naan, Rita were all good.
They have alcohol, free wifi, clean bathrooms, plenty of seating in the shade on those hot days like today.
06/17/2020
Bolos bons, serviço simpático.
06/17/2020
Irei voltar
06/17/2020
Best Indian food I have ever had in my life!! The waiter was very polite and professional. Definitely recommend 100%
06/17/2020
06/17/2020
It was absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly and definitely one of the best India food I ever had! Highly recommendable!
06/17/2020
06/17/2020
Best Indian ever, lovely, helpful, friendly staff. We ate here 2 days in a row and also had a delivery to our apartment. Food has alot of flavour, good prices and lovely atmosphere. Thanks to all the staff

06/17/2020
I love this restaurant! The waiters were very kind to us and the food was absolutely wonderful! This is by far my favourite Indian restaurant.
06/17/2020
A wonderful cultural experience!
The food is prime quality and the service is out of this world! Vikram is a wonderful server! We found our new favorite Indian cuisine in the Algarve area! Can't wait to return.

A comida é excelente.
06/17/2020
Comida boa. Pessoal simpático. Preço médio. Recomendo
06/17/2020
06/17/2020
The best Indian meal I have had for ages
Small immaculately clean indoor seating as well as a large outdoor eating area. Well informed and friendly staff, good service and good atmosphere. They do takeaway too and have just started to deliver. Prices are a little higher than some. Would I visit again? Of course I would.
06/17/2020
Best Indian food and best service by Rocky (we have eaten at over 100 Indian restaurants all over Europe)
06/17/2020
Fantastisch Indiaas eten! Hoge kwaliteit en heel vriendelijke bediening.
06/17/2020
Recomendo.
06/17/2020
The food was very good, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were exceptional. The service was fast enough to keep 3 young kids satisfied, but not so fast that you thought it was pre-prepared. Nothing really stood out about the food that made it amazing or extraordinary. It's exactly what you would expect, which is a good thing.
06/17/2020
Ambiente calmo bom serviço e a comida expetacular
06/17/2020
Muito bom restaurante, bom ambiente, bom atendimento e a qualidade é garantida!
06/17/2020
Bom restaurante indiano em Portimão
06/17/2020
Service rapide et convivial, tout est bon
06/17/2020
06/17/2020
Schöner Laden und Essen ist gut
06/17/2020
Simply brilliant! Great service, great food and fantastic people work here. Added some pictures of Rojhit (Rocky) with our young Thomas. Thanks so much for a great experience
06/17/2020
06/17/2020
Nos encantó todo.. El trato y la comida.. Nos dejamos asesorar.. Aunque íbamos guiadas x los comentarios.. Exquisito arroz..
06/17/2020
Comida boa de qualidade e bom preço.
Serviço impecavel
06/17/2020
First time in Portugal. Eaten at some lovely Portuguese resturaunts. Hubby's birthday so he wanted an Indian meal. We live in France so don't get to eat at a good Indian restaurant!!! The restaurant was very close to our apartment, so we thought "why not". Well we were not disappointed. Delicious food, excellent service, excellent price, going again before we return to France. If you require spicy hot food just ask for more spice. We so enjoyed our meal. Thanks you.
06/17/2020
Comida riquísima y los camareros muy atentos. GENIAL!!!!!!
06/17/2020
Decent Indian at a decent price. Location very convenient and good service.
Food could be bit better.
06/17/2020
Comida muito boooa.. os empregados muito simpatico. Jantamos sempre que da
06/17/2020
I am seriously confused how this place has got 4.2 stars...
This place is not authentic Indian food.. It only deserves mediocre review...
Waited 1.5 hours for my food and to make it worse the food literally had no taste...
Next morning was a sore morning in the toilet not just once might I add...!!
06/17/2020
Excelente restaurante indiano no centro de Portimão
06/17/2020
Heerlijk gegrilde indiase vlees gegeten, goed service ,
06/17/2020
Nourriture fantastique.
06/17/2020
Adorooooo a comida e o staff
03/17/2020
03/17/2020
Atendimento impecável e excelente menu
03/17/2020

Super zeer goed gegeten. Aardig personeel.
Super verse vis.
02/17/2020
Sehr sehr gute Kost. Hat seinen Preis und seine Qualität. Sehr Weiter zu empfehlen. Muito gostosooo
02/17/2020
The way owner treats you is no complaint all you are gonna do is enjoy cause they treat you as a home and all I noticed once I was there is all the staff smiles while you have been hospitalised there
Love to visit again there
02/17/2020
Wonderful place in Portimão. The owner is very friendly and the dishes are simply amazing. Well done!
01/17/2020
01/17/2020
Reasonable food taste. Quick preparation. But,
Less quantity
Credit/debit card not accepted giving funny reason that it stopped working just now
12/17/2019
Excellent service but one meal in the group was disappointing. Not a reason to miss trying this restaurant.
11/17/2019
The food and service were both amazing. Rohit seemed very passionate about food! We ordered the lamb biryani, cheese naan and a shrimp curry and each dish was delicious.
11/17/2019
I'd been here several times and recommended it to many friends, but my last visit in November 2019 I was very disappointed. Four of us went out for a meal, unfortunately i should have known we was in for a bad night when four starters could not be served together. There was a 15 minute delay between the first two (Onoin Bajiis) and the next two coming out (Sheekh Kebab) not good when you are dining as a four. I understand fresh food takes time but there was only some 10 people in the restaurant in total. When the second set of of sheekh Kebab arrived it was tasteless not spicy at all and when we was nearly finished these a slightly spicy marinade arrived not good really. The mains wasn't great well below the usual standard not the normal fresh ingredients, this also came out in dribs and drabs. I could go on but I think for me its better to vote with my feet. Never again.
11/17/2019
Just had a lovely lunch here. Would definately come back again. The lamb madras was delicious and no fat or gristle. Highly recommend.
11/17/2019
10/17/2019
I live in London, and if this was in London it would be an average curry house. But it’s not in London, it’s in a small town in Portugal, and it serves very decent Indian food, and the service is good, and it’s not expensive. So I gave it five stars for being above expectations. And of course like most Indian places it’s vegan friendly.
10/17/2019
Un bon petit restau indien à Portimao. Menu à 9 euros et service agreable :)
10/17/2019
Please read. Food happy with, bill something wrong 3 people,3 starters 3€ each 4 beers 2 coke 3 main meals €10 rice and naans
Came to approximately €60+ then they added tax on at a total of 33% bill came to approximately €93 the excuse was Portuguese tax is highest in Europe please be aware before ordering.
What a shame they have to do this if I'm wrong I apologise but I expect price shown includes taxes.
Never had such a expensive curry .
10/17/2019
Another 5star meal. 3 years in a row means its consistantly putting out good food. Try the goan fish curry
10/17/2019
Ristorante con tavoli all'aperto con cucina portoghese e cucina esotica
10/17/2019
Não foi surpreendente
Mas um jantar bem passado
10/17/2019
Bom atendimento. Comida muito bem confecionada e preços acessíveis.
09/17/2019
Delicious food for a very friendly price! We had the mixed starter and were amazed by the taste. After the starter we had a curry and the tandoori chicken. Both were very tasty as well.
Very friendly staff which, together with the tasty food, makes it a recommended restaurant!
09/17/2019
09/17/2019
Amazing food, best restaurant in Portimão! Can't say bad word about food or service. 5 stars is not enough.
09/17/2019
09/17/2019
Maravilhoso! Atendimento nota dez. Comida ótima! Vale muito ir conhecer.
08/17/2019
Tasted a lot of Indian food in our time and this is the best I've ever had in this price range. Asked for our spice preference and got it just right (hot, in this case). Terrific find, didn't expect something so good here in Portugal. Strongly recommend for Indian food lovers
08/17/2019
Bloody excellent food. We haven't had spicy food since we left home as there doesnt seem to be much in Europe, so we were very thrilled to get really amazing Indian where they asked how spicy we wanted it. We said HOT. Beautiful food. Very happy.
08/17/2019
Très bonne nourriture. Le personnel est au petit soin.
Le soir il y a un peu d'attente.
Je recommande le butter chicken
08/17/2019
Værd at besøge igen.
08/17/2019
08/17/2019
Heerlijk gegeten!
08/17/2019
Amazing restaurant, food out of this world and didn't expect Indian food of this calibre in Portgual! Service brilliant and so attentive. Highly recommend a visit!
07/17/2019
A comida é excelente e o staff é 5*
Para voltar com certeza
07/17/2019
We have been regular guests for last 5 years. Food always lovely and service exceptionally attentive.
07/17/2019
Vorzügliches Essen. Sympathischer Service.
07/17/2019
Lunch menu is incredible value, less than 9€ for any dish plus naan and a drink. Good food and service.
07/17/2019
Provavelmente o melhor restaurante de comida tradicional indiana no algarve! Staff e serviço também 5*. A não perder.
07/17/2019
Delicious. I wish I could eat here everyday. We had the Palak paneer and mushroom muttar which were fantastic. The staff are wonderful as well.
07/17/2019
Food is great. Service is great. Crowd is great.
Best thing is even if you come after 11 pm, you will not be refused, such is the great service.
If you don't like the food, they are open to constructive feedback and next order is exact to your liking.
This reactive and progressively proactive approach is signs of greatness and bodes well for future.
Special mention of the service by Rohit. He was attentive to our needs and product (i.e. dishes ordered) improved drastically and so did the ratings of this review. His immaculate service deserves special mention though everyone in the crew was efficient at service but special care/service by him went extra mile between a content customer and repeating customer.
07/17/2019
Excellent food.Really authentic quality. The staff are fun as well.Recommend you try it.Reasonable prices also.
06/17/2018
06/17/2018
Repas copieux et serveurs très gentils
06/17/2018
Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung. Das Naan-Brot war hervorragend, unbedingt probieren!
06/17/2018
I’ve tried and tested Indian food in asia, middle-east, europe and other random spots you name it and no where have ever been as goooood, fresh, heartwarming as this place. I do not care so much to bother and write a review, but this spot deserves a review and much more.
Awesome Staff - helpful, confident food critics and so so sweet
Food - I am speechless! Let the waiter recommend for you a couple of must trys and do not miss out on their daily menu for only 8 euros ( food was enough for me and my partner)
Environment - beautiful portimao weather
06/17/2018
Me and my wife got a very bad food poisoning after a dinner here. Maybe a bad luck, but we'd never visit again. Waiters were friendly. Food not as tasty as in plenty other Indian restaurants we've eaten.
06/17/2018
Gostei bastante.. serviço rápido, simpatia, para quem adora coco, o peshwari naan e perfeito...
06/17/2018
Excellent indien. Tout etait bon et tres bon accueil
06/17/2018
We have ordered takeaway delivered a few times arrived in good time but the portions are small for the price the quality is ok not the same as the UK
06/17/2018
Buena comida a buen precio. El menú con bebida menos de 10€.
06/17/2018
06/17/2018
Comida boa e atendimento cordial e simpático.
06/17/2018
How nice to walk into a restaurant which has heating and serves it's food on hot plates. This restaurant is modern but comfortable with stylish decoration. The food was delicious and the staff is very caring and friendly. I can only recommend this restaurant and will visit again.
06/17/2018
Closed at the moment. Could be reopening some time in 2018. This was a great Indian resteraunt until reports of employing and sleeping above the resteraunt issues.
06/17/2018
06/17/2018
Espaço muito agradável e a comida é ótima. Recomendo.
06/17/2018
06/17/2018
Muito agradável. Bom vinho da casa. Comida muito fresca e saborosa. Excelente ambiente. Boa esplanada.
06/17/2018
Para quem goste de caril recomendo
06/17/2018
Good quality food, pans and nans are really good compared to others restaurants.. prices really affordables
06/17/2018
Todo muy bueno y buen servicio. Recomiendo pollo Tandori espectacular
06/17/2018
Fantastic food both times we visited on our trip. Every dish we ordered was perfect and suggestions from the staff about amounts to order were just right. The staff were very friendly and helpful even with making sure our allergy needs were met.
06/17/2018
Boa comida e muita simpatia.
06/17/2018
Although the food was nice it was not as we have had before from indian restaurants the chicken somosa wasnt filo but short crust pastry and filled with a dry crumbled chicken my chicken rogan josh was rather thin and watery but tasty however there was far too much tomato in it for me.
My partner left quite a lot of her korma and her chicken pakora were very different to what we were used to so they were left too. The place was clean and the prices not too bad for a tourist area.
06/17/2018
Boa comida e um bom atendimento
06/17/2018
06/17/2018
Really delicious food! It was a good desicion going there! The staff is really friendly and the food tasted fresh and was well spiced.
06/17/2018
06/17/2018
Masala House was the most amazing restaurant in Portimao, Algarve. The ambiance was spectacular and unique. The restaurant was spotless and had a great vibe. You could tell the tourists and regulars
enjoyed the food and the service. Rohit and the staff went above n beyond to cater to our needs. The food was delicious and made to satisfy the needs of the customer, Mild to hot they were so accommodating. Masala house is a happening place, you could see the customers enjoyed the tasty food. The staff were so friendly and i will go back the next time i travel to Algarve. I recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Portimao. They will absolutely love it, as much as i did. THANK YOU Rohit Patel and staff, will never forget this experience.
06/17/2018
Excellent variety of food and sauces, nice staff, good and adequate music for the restaurant environment. All in all, it was an excellent choice to have dinner
06/17/2018

Delicious Indian food!
The menu do dia with a starter, naan, Rice and a small portion of any meat, fish or vegetarian dish and a drink for 9€ offers great value for money for a lunch.

Comida tradicional indú bien elaborada a precios asequibles.

I didn't go to Portugal in search of fabulous Indian food, but I found it at Masala house!! I had the chicken sagwala which was full of flavour. The pickles were great, and the waiters couldn't do enough to make us all relax. Brilliant restaurant well worth a try!

On holiday from Scotland, visited Masala House after seeing it advertised and didn't regret it. Food was fantastic, and the staff could not be more helpful. Prices reasonable (especially at lunch time) and ended up visiting 3 times on a 7 day holiday. Definitely the place to go in Portimão for a curry.
