We came to this restaurant regularly in the past , and when we returned to Carvoeiro we were determined to come again , sadly the quality of the food is really disappointing . We would like to remember what it used to be like a beautiful venue with gorgeous food , the venue is the same unfortunately the food is not .

Amazing food, staff were so lovely and warm, perfect location with the stunning town views at a height! 10/10!!

It's okay, the food is nice and not expensive. Staff is friendly and hard working but there seem to be a organization problem. We got 1 wrong meal which was not ordered and after returning they did this a second time... The 3rd time we got the correct ordered meal.

Wir hatten Heute Abend unser letztes Essen an der Algarve es war einen schönen Abend! Der Service war OK vielleicht eine Servicekraft mehr wäre passend für die Lage des Lokals! Der Salat und die Vorspeise waren sehr gut, der Aperitif war lecker! Wir hatten Pizzas, der Boden war mit weitem der Beste von den Lokalitäten in Carvoeira! Leuk restaurant qua sfeer, goede keus op de kaart, mist alleen een kindermenu. Bediening weinig servicegericht . Top: heerlijke pasta’s en redelijk snel het eten op tafel. Tip: als Italiaans restaurant echte cappuccino serveren, dessertkaart maken, is nu niet uitnodigend een dessert te bestellen als hier geen kaart van is en de bediening niet goed kan opnoemen wat de keuzes zijn.

Desastroso, para lo único que merece la pena es para contemplar las vistas que tiene. Comida muy poco aceptable. Tiene unos precios normales, por lo que es preferible ir a cualquier otro restaurante italiano de la zona. Un trato tan nefasto que ha llegado al punto de amenazar física y verbalmente por decir que un plato estaba malo. Sinceramente, pongo una estrella por no poder poner cero.

Le cuisinier s'engueule avec la patronne et se trompe de tables. Le serveur est peu avenant. Les tagliatelles au pesto baignent dans la sauce à la crème fraîche. Beaucoup d'attente. Seuls points positifs, des légumes sont servis et la vue est appréciable.

We kregen na 20 min te menukaart en hierna ook pas drinken. Na 50 min was ons voorgerecht nog niet geserveerd en zaten we tegenover lege glazen. De erg onvriendelijke en arrogante ober kwam na aandringen van ons na 70 min met het hoofdgerecht. Nadat wij aangaven dat wij eerst ons voorgerecht wilden. Zei hij verontwaardigd ja maar dan wordt het hoofdgerecht koud... (het is niet mijn fout dat ze het omwisselen) . Afgezien van het hoofdgerecht hadden we pizza besteld deze was slecht belegt en erg droog. Na 5 keer om de rekening gevraagd te hebben konden we gaan zonder bedankje.

Matige pizza's met taaie bodem, waren salade vergeten, wij gaan hier niet meer naar toe.

Voorgerecht wordt zonder dat je het besteld op tafel gekwakt, met dezelfde onverschillige volharding staat het later toch op de rekening. Huisgemaakte pasta is inderdaad huisgemaakte, als je het openmaken van een pak pasta van de Aldi als huisgemaakt ziet. Bediening is gehaast, gestrest en ongelooflijk lomp wat leuk is als je daar de humor van inzien Rekening klopte niet, de prijzen op de rekening zijn duurder dan de prijzen op de kaart. Ook duiken de voorgerechten "Van het huis" op bij de rekening . De rekening werd extra gepeperd met een aantal vreemde bedragen voor "toeristenbelasting" Leuk restaurant voor als je eens goed ouderwets in de boot genomen wil worden....

Sorry, nice place and location but no control. Small dishes with to much salt and sauce for the ravioli and tagliatelle, small pizzas, late serving.

Maten i beste fall OK, tok lang tid, kun 1 kokk og 2 til 3 servitører som prøvde sitt beste. Styr unna!

Waited nearly three hours for food to arrive, and when it did, the pizza wasn't anything special. Waiters were too busy and the owner was extremely rude. Avoid this restaurant, there are plenty other nice ones in Carvoeiro!

Não compreendo estas avaliações, eu tive um jantar muito agradável , com um ambiente acolhedor e uma vista top. A dona é realmente a alma do restaurante, muito conservadora e disponível. A conta é o normal para um restaurante daquele nível, isto não é um Mcdonalds.

Weinig eten voor je geld. Slechte bediening door toedoen van de eigenaresse. Medelijden met personeel dat de chaos probeert te redden. Voel me bedrogen dat verkeerde rekening gepresenteerd werd. Zie andere reviews. Nog nooit zo’n kleine dunne pizza gehad. Weinig pasta, wel smaakvol.

Les pizzas sont garnies mais la pâte est beaucoup trop dure à couper, les spaghettis aux Fruits de mer avec du surimi !! Et les desserts manquent de fraîcheur... Les serveurs font ce qu’ils peuvent pour compenser le comportement de la patronne qui se mêle de tout même des conversations des clients. Dommage car le cadre donne de la hauteur.

Lovely setting, great food, nice friendly staff. Enjoyed our evening meal there. Good choice of meals and plenty for veggies.

We were very disappointed with the restaurant staff, the waiter failed to engage with us, appeared to be reading from a script and lacked any personality. He placed an appatizer on the table and walked saying nothing. It was clear from those around us that most were only staying for one course as it was overpriced compared to so many of the other restaurants. When I received the bill I asked what the charge of 8 euros was for, an elderly lady (possibly the owner) said it was customary in Portugal to charge for the appatizer, I suggested that they consider telling customers that there is an appatizer available, what it is and that there is a charge. The lady was shouting at this point, given her approach I asked for the 8 euros to be removed and I paid the remaining 102 euros for four main course meals, 1 bottle of house wine, 2 colas and 2 beers. Summary- very pretentious restaurant which serves Italian food, very abrupt owners, there are so many other restaurants in And around we will never return to this one

Leider können wir nach den Erlebnissen unseres letzten Besuches nur 3 Sterne vergeben. Ohne Reservierung haben wir nach einem Tisch gefragt und wurden an einen Tisch gesetzt, der es uns nicht ermöglicht hat, die Beine darunter zu bringen, denn auf jeder Seite waren Querstreben angebracht, nun dann wir behalfen uns damit unsere Beine neben dem Tisch unterzubringen. Das Essen hatte eine gute Qualität, die Preise sind hierfür angemessen. Dies lässt sich für die Getränke leider nicht sagen. Zwar gibt es eine Weinkarte, allerdings wird kein offener Wein angeboten. Die Preise für Softdrinks und Bier werden nicht ausgewiesen, der Blick auf die Rechnung zeigt auch warum: für ein großes Bier verlangen sie 6 € und wir reden hier von dem spanischen Exportbier San Miguel das einem in Spanien literweise für 1 € nachgeworfen wird und nicht für extrem hohe Braukunst bekannt ist. Klar ich hätte fragen können, aber ehrlich gesagt bin ich in Portugal noch nie so über den Tisch gezogen worden und das ärgert und maßlos.

The Italian restaurant is a bit of a hit and miss the staff were friendly enough but the time between a starter which was only a tomato salad (give this a miss) and a main of tagliatelle was almost an hour. Sad as we love Italian food but although they try hard the smile had slipped off my face after an hour.

They bring a fresh tapa to the table. Nice. Complimentary you think because you did not order it. And then they charge you more than what it is worth for what should have been free. Two of our drinks were priced over what was stated on the menu. Then they charge 4 euro for a bottle of water and will not let you take what is not consumed. The pizza was pretty good but the seafood risotto was lacking. Fake crab stick???! We recommend you go elsewhere as this restaurant left a bad taste in our mouth(pun intended!!!)

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great, traditional well cooked food. Delicious and will definitely go back on our next visit to the area

Mama is in charge Book a table and forget it as she will let any have it. She thinks customers come second to her rule. What restaurant of any good does that ? Poor husband who she brings out the kitchen to back her up with her total control doesn't any customers with her attitude to them even when they are civil. We waited 30 minutes for our reserved table and she could have sorted it easily but she didn't. Don't don't ever go there.

Excelente y el dueño no podia ser mejor, siendo de mi tierra, de Huelva, casualidades de la vida. Volvere sin lugar a dudas.

Absolute disgrace! Didn't even get to the point of ordering, paid for drinks and left. Hostess clearly has mental issues and was shouting constantly, we were sat next to the kitchen and could also hear the chef shouting and banging aggressively. Felt so sorry for the 2 young waiters who seemed to take the brunt of it from the hostess. Do not go here!!

O local é muito bonito. Ontem entrámos neste restaurante para jantar, ficámos sentados numa mesa com uma vista fantástica. Deram-nos a carta para escolher, quando de repente começámos a ouvir gritos vindos da cozinha, que se foram espalhando pela sala, em simultâneo ouvíamos copos ou outra loiça qq a ser partidos... viemos embora! Quem tem uma porta aberta não se pode prestar a este tipo de espetáculo. Aqui nunca mais!!!

La cena con espectáculo está asegurada. Es un digno restaurante para participar en "pesadilla en la cocina". Según la suerte que tengas la dueña te trata bien o mal. Un cliente se fue sin pagar porque le insultó, le chilló a una chica por entrar con la maleta al comedor, los camareros no sabían dónde meterse, pedían disculpas al marcharse todo el mundo... Y de número final una bronca monumental con su marido, el cocinero (que cada dos por tres salía del restaurante a fumar). A pesar de todo la comida estaba buena, aunque nos trajeron un aperitivo sin pedirlo de pan con aceite y tomate y olivas que luego nos costó 14€ (habían ocho panecillos).

J ai commandé un plat de spaghetti aux gambas 16 euros et il est arrivé un plat de spaghetti au bout d une heure et quart environ avec 3 crevettes non décortiquées avec leur tête qui flottaient au dessus ,tomate en boite , heureusement Parmesan a volonté sans gout pour cacher la misère . Et là la patronne peu sympa me fait un discours moralisateur et condescendant pour me dire qu il fallait mériter ce plat tout frais!! Lol !! Voila libre à vous de ne pas y aller évidemment . En résumé mal reçue , et nourriture plus que médiocre !

Le désordre était présent dans la salle entre les serveurs qui tournent partout et la patronne peu aimable qui ne veut pas prendre notre commande, 1 heure d’attente pour un plat de pâtes à là tomates et origan sans excuses de leur part. Suite à cela, la sauce tomate n’était pas fraîche et très liquide. Si j’avais su j’aurais acheté un pasta box.

Das Essen war sehr gut und die Italienische 'Mama' ausgesprochen nett. Preise sind angemessen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre im Lokal war super und auch die Aussicht auf die belebte Straße unterhalb war nett. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Very very very very bad service by the hostess. The hostess is like a game of Russian roulette...... We will never go there again and don’t recommend any one on this earth or someone in outer space to vissit this place. But if you like the game give it a try!!!

No volveremos. La dueña es una absoluta maleducada.Soliamos frecuentar este restaurante pero ha cambiado. Pedí unos espaguetis fruti di mare,cuando los traen vemos que contiene palitos de cangrejo o delicias de mar (en portugués).Nos intentó convencer que los palitos es un producto natural. No puedo comerlos por temas de alergia. Le dijimos que contenía productos no naturales y su reacción fue lamentable, elevando la voz en medio de la sala llegando a insultar a los españoles como clientes.Nota ,hemos comprobado que en las enseñas aparecen otros cometarios que aluden a la actitud de la señora.

Le doy una estrella porque google no me da otra opción. La cena ha sido desastrosa, una experiencia fatal, el trato de la dueña ha sido desagradable y mal educado. Sin ir más lejos, nos ha puesto pegas por pedir pasta sin gluten para una persona alérgica, al parecer, dice que es una moda la comida sin gluten. Para colmo, en la cuenta nos ha encasquetado una botella de vino que no hemos pedido. Un desastre!

Food was poor and staff were rude. Very rude. Like previous reviews they tried to overcharge us too with coffees we didn’t have. My advice.... Avoid!!! Oh and if you don’t enjoy cooking, don’t order the grilled steak as you have to cook yourself. Seriously it comes out raw. Got to practice my chef skills though :-)

We left without touching the food. The only thing that reached our table the way we ordered it was the bottle of water. We had to consecutively send two martini, a melon and two pizzas back to the kitchen. The staff tries very hard but there is a flagrant issue in organization. The location and decor of the place is amazing though!

La vue est magnifique, les chaises sont confortables. Un potentiel important au niveau de l'amélioration de l'organisation. Finalement nous sommes parties après l'apéritif.

El trato al cliente deja mucho que desear. La dueña es grosera y maleducada, tuvimos que repetirle 3 veces lo que habíamos pedido y se marchaba sin casi tomarnos nota de la bebida. Nos cobraron el cubierto que son 2 euros por persona e incluye aceitunas y tomates secos pero estos brillaron por su ausencia. Tenía mucha prisa por despacharnos, ojala nos hubiésemos ido, una decepción sin duda. Para el mal servicio que dan me parece muy caro.

Super cadre personnel sympa mais il faut éviter a tout prix les pizzas! !!!!! La pâte est dure et elles sont grasses. Pour le dessert les profiteroles sont tout sauf des profiteroles. Bref a éviter aussi. Avec l apéro on vous sert une tartine qui vous est facturé deux euros !!!!! Restaurant a éviter

Do not go to this total rip off. The food was horrible, the waiters too stressful and on top of that very rude. I'm quite sure there are plenty more viable options out there. I do not recommend this place at all.

Comida buena con precio acorde a la zona los hay mejores,merece ser visitado por el conjunto en total,buena decoracion y ambiente la señora que lo lleva muy simpatica y graciosa.pizza y pasta bien hecha, tambien hay pescado y carnes pero no los probamos.un plato de pasta + pizza y botella de vino blanco 46 euros.

Patronne du restaurant complètement folle, raciste...elle a insulté et injurié sous mes yeux un chauffeur vtc, prête en venir au main parce qu il bloquait la rue pour prendre des clients, petit rue de Carvoiero qu elle empruntait à vive allure sans ce soucier des limites de vitesse.. Franchement n y aller pas

The seating was fast even in the busy hour. Generally, nice looking restaurant but the waiters are rushing around nearly running, the food was not the best for the price. I had spaghetti del mar that where so spicy that nothing else could be tasted. When we ordered the bill they tried to overcharge us and got even rude about it when we pointed it out.
