Excellent course, certainly challenging. Very hospitable staff and buggy service. Very hilly and on most of the holes need to get over lost ball territory in front of the tee, need to hit a good drive. Great views. The best course I’ve played and high handicappers shouldn’t be put off, just enjoy the experience if not your best score.

OMG - this is a golf course that Roman Emperors would have played on, the scale and grandeur of this club is simply amazing and awe - the size of the clubhouse is of a large hotel with marble everywhere - and the course is as long as you can imagine do not walk this course !

Firstly the place was VERY expensive. My son was €70 for 12 yr old son(that’s their Christmas special junior rate)and €70 for me. There was no buggy girl for food as she was on lunch break between 12-1...... The Dom Pedro courses are much better stay away from here and go to the other courses.

We played both courses; staying over in the apartments - the set up is very good with apartment, transport and registration all very good. The courses played well with good pace ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... all good then. Over the two days we lost three golf watches - our fault as we had attached them to the buggies but forgot to take them off when finished our rounds. We enquired afterwards only to be told none had been found; disappointed but felt they didn’t care. On the first evening we had dinner which was very good, however when a member of staff told us two sets of clubs weren’t allowed on the terrace/patio I personally asked for help to remove them only to be told, ”it’s not my job”⭐️. Not very good customer service - this was the overall experience with the waiting/bar staff and needs to be addressed if they require more golfers. A two ⭐️⭐️ is tough but it’s always been about service, and this was very poor on the terrace/patio areas - the accommodation was very good⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One point; we have been many times before; we always used to get a cold towel to freshen up after golf and they always used to offer a club cleaning service.... none of this is now offered which takes away the premium experience⭐️ It’s a shame; but these little things matter when booking next year.

Good value. Not in consistently good condition. Cart technology shows no distance which takes away from a premium experience.
