The resident is an old school one run by a family. The room is spotless and each day got cleaned and the bed was made. What I loved . The price includes a very simple breakfast. Next door exists a bakery, where if one doesn't like white bread, one can buy other type of fresh bread and gave it instead. The owner was very friendly, she would talk with me during the breakfast. The resident is right in the old and historic part of the town and from it one wals almost everywhere. The only downside for me was that it was a bit noisy at night, because of the bakery that baked at night. it is better to have a room that is towards the street and not to the back.

Terrific! The recepcionist was unbelievably rude. He wanted to take a photocopy of my ID, but as I asked him not to, he blackmailed me: "no photocopy, no check-in". This is arguably a crime. First time in my life I'm refused a check-in because I don't want my ID to be copied.

Hotel centrale, abbastanza economico

A good option for accomodation when u are going to Guimaraes. It's placed in the center of the city, the price is good, the rooms are nice and pretty large, the bathroom it's ok and u will have the breakfast included. The cleaning service it's very prompt and the room is check ed daily. I recomended I u don't want a luxury place to stay.

Wonderful place, cheap price, large room, clean, central position. Parking is near, but is toll parking.
