I have been wanting to go to Portugal Equestrian forever and I was not disappointed. I went with a friend for one week and we had the best time. Everybody there is super nice and professional, super coordinator, super trainers, super horses, super facilities. I loved every flat, jumping and dressage lessons. Top class! Thank you all.

Fantastic horses and instructors. During 5 intensive days, me and my son took both dressage and jumping lessons at the beautiful Portugal Equistrian stable with the most skilled and nice teachers that we ever have had. I can sincerely recommend this place.

This equestrian club is an amazing place with first its lovely people who I felt are like friends or family I know for some time. They are friendly, caring and motivating. At the end of my training week I achieved 130% of my goal. I wanted to gain better confidence in riding but I jumped a course including stretch and oxers and had significant improvement with dressage in flat works. So, I had 3 lessons a day for a week, two were for show jumping in the morning and one for dressage in the afternoon. There are plenty of good horses which will definitely be suitable for your riding experience. It's location is in middle of farms enjoying fresh air and quietness away from crowded cities. It has a nice layout of an open jumping arena and two covered ones. We had the chance to try many nice and different Portuguese restaurants around the town. The accommodation was in the town Esposende in front of the beach where you can go for a walk or run along the courniche. I also enjoyed walking around the Centre of the city with its old and authentic Portuguese building. It's a small town and peaceful. Special thanks to Melissa who took care of our daily needs, Anna our show jumping coach, Miguel our calm dressage coach, Bruno and rest of the team. I'm glad that I made it and I would love go again.

Great place for someone interested in serious learning. Excellently organized, beautiful facility, very friendly and knowledgeable team. I did Premium program dressage, rode 6 very interesting horses during 9 private lessons, and enjoyed every minute. Will definitely come back again!

Sometimes what sounds too good to be, is actually even better! I went to Portugal Equestrian last month for a week and what an amazing time I had. I was very anxious to get back in the saddle after pretty much a break of 12 years with the odd ride in between. There really wasn’t a reason for it. The staff was so friendly and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. The hotel provided was lovely too and Melissa took us every day to a different restaurant for lunch, all places were well chosen. In short: All instructors and staff were so lovely and competent, the horses are fantastic and so well-looked after. I met lovely people in that week and I can’t wait to be back next year.

I spent 3 weeks with amazing Trainers, it was a great package for me, the horses were just what i asked for, and I completed and it was worth the visit, i came back home more confident and with more experience, i will be back for sure, great people who will not make you go home without getting the experience you need..

I hade a great time with my daughter, 8 years. Both of us are beginners and after 5 days training with Portugal Equestrian’s wonderful instructors Anna and Astrid, we could improve our riding skills very much that I couldn’t believe my eyes when my daughter took a pic of me sitting so stable and in a perfect position in gallop. Amazing! The people are friendly and accommodating for you. The horses are lovely and very well cared for .I had a lovely time and can't wait to go back ,hopefully with friends! Totally recommend!

I really loved my dressage lessons and I tried a few jumping lessons for my birthday and I loved it to. I tried some of the things I learned there on other horses and it worked really well, which shows the amazing skills of the trainers. So all in all it was perfect and I cant wait to come back.

I came to Portugal Equestrian in August 2019 whilst travelling during the year and it was the best riding holiday experience I have ever had. I am an adult rider from Australia and due to constant work and travel commitments I am unable to ride as much as I would like. I was looking for a riding holiday that offered proper tuition (showjumping for me) and high quality horses and Portugal Equestrian absolutely ticked all the boxes. The riding facilities were world class and the horses were very well schooled and perfect for riders of all capabilities. I had two showjumping lessons per day and ended up adding a couple of dressage lessons and a beach ride since I was enjoying it so much. I am not a dressage rider but once I saw the gorgeous Lusitanos I had to try them and it was definitely a highlight. The quality of the lessons were fantastic, I found the instruction was simple yet so effective and I was able to learn and build each day of the week, progressing to better quality riding in my jumping courses. Each day lunch was provided at a local restaurant and the afternoons were free to explore the surrounding areas so it was a great balance. I am so thankful I found Portugal Equestrian and I am already booking my next visit! Big thank you to Anna and Antonio for the great instruction and of course the wonderful horses.

Me myself am one of the jumping instructor, I’m Swedish and have competed up to 1.60m international GPs. I work professionally as a rider and instructor, and give lessons in Swedish, English and Portuguese.
