Delicious selection of port, tasty (basic) tapas and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended.

Really nice and relaxed atmosphere and you can truly feel that the people love their port wine. This place sure is a bit more expensive than other places but they don't use any of the big brands but instead smaller more family run vineyards. The staff is knowledgeable and explains port to you. We had the 6 port tastings and no food pairing so can't say anything about the food but this place introduced us to the brand Bulas which tawny was the best port we have ever tasted. We think that the big brands taste more the same and these smaller brands have a bigger variety which means that you have the possibility to stumble upon a true treasure. The couple doing tastings next to us had the exact same experience. Thank you!

Wirklich coole location. Es gibt nur Portwein:) Man kann verschiedene Portwein Proben machen. Wir hatten eine 3 er Probe. Einen weißen einen ruby und einen tawny für 12 €. War echt super cool und interessant. Lohnt sich

I’m glad I followed the advice of a friend who’s a port aficionado and who recommended Vinologia portvinsbar. The staff are brilliant. The port selection is fantastic.

Great, great, GREAT. I just wanted a nice, authentic way to get to know port and learn about it and this place definitely helped me achieve that. I didn’t have a reservation but I was seated instantly. Everyone was supernice to me, even though I was by myself. I think his name was Rafael, he had a nose piercing, who did the tasting, he gave a lot of information about the different ports and clearly was very knowledgeable. His english was great! After that they gave you some time to try it for yourself: I’m not a very port coinnosseur, so I don’t know the quality, but it sure tasted great! Had some chocolates to go with them which was nice, it definitely added to the experience. After I decided to do even more ports to try and this time a lovely girl in her 20’s helped me. Also very good. Afterwards, I bought one white port which was only 12€ and a smaller ruby as a gift for someone. Honestly, if you have the chance and want to experience port, go here! :)

Very useful and personal explanations about the different types of port wine. They are working with smaller producers, so you won't find the big names here. Interesting tasting menues, vertical (different ages) or horizontal (same ages, different brands). Spent a good amount of time here :)

Dreadfully overpriced ... €30 for 6 dreary tasters 5€ for 3 thin individual 'pieces' of chocolate ... And the ports were mediocre at best and tiny portions. Compared with the ports we had yesterday at a restaurant, for a third of the price, these were disappointing. Definitely a case of style over substance. There are much better places to enjoy a good portion.

These guys introduced me to Quinta Seara d'Ordens, and I can't thank them enough. The porto guided tastings are nice though a little expensive if you want good porto, and the waiters explains everything you need to know about the porto you chosen to sample.

Hot, too busy, slow service, but ultimately still a nicer way to try a variety of wines than doing a tour of one specific winery.

Fantastic Port tasting experience. Recommend the 6 port 2nd tasting... (see picture) from dry port to tawny to ruby vintage.
