Great red house wine and generous portions of meat! Dinner for 2 with wine cost us 26€. And we couldn't even finish:) I recommend vitela and tell the chef how you want it to be cooked.

Our worst food experience in Portugal. We usually choose places that seem not to be very popular among tourists but that was absolutely terrible. Fish was burnt on the outside but not done inside the same with bloody meat. The best thing was the local wine and the prices. But I would prefer to spend 30 Eur more and have a decent meal.

An absolute MUST for tourists and locals. Excellent cuisine and good local wine. Fantastic Gambas ao Acafrao, and ao Alho. Delicious Bifinhos de Peru com Cogomelos. Very affordable. The best cuisine tasted in over two-week of traveling from Lisbon to Porto to Guimaraes.
