This is a normal carpark on both sides of the Rio Tamega bridge. There are no dedicated parking spaces for motorhomes. The spaces are all car sizes except for 7 larger spaces beside the exit. There is no signage but that's where we parked for the night. During the day it was pretty empty but at night we were the only vehicle.
During the day you can park under the bridge for shade but during the late evening it's used for car/people meetings and that's why we moved.
There are NO services.
There are some small bins in the carpark.
The town is 5 minutes down the river path towards the Roman bridge, the oldest bridge in Portugal. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from but most close at 7pm.
The old town is interesting especially the old ramparts.
We had a quiet and peaceful night eventhough some cars and people were talking in the carpark until 1am. There was also some road noise but it didn't bother us.
Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..)
We did not encounter any mosquitoes here.

O MELHOR PESSOAL DE SEMPRE! Tenho sido um cliente fiel há mais de 20 anos. Como em qualquer negócio, ocasionalmente o pessoal não estava prontamente disponível. No geral, sempre fiquei satisfeito com os seus produtos e serviços. No entanto, no dia 13 de Setembro de 2020, na loja Hanes Mall Blvd., a minha experiência foi mais do que satisfatória. Eu fiquei doente enquanto estava na loja. Liguei para o número do Home Depot para pedir ajuda. O gerente, Ryan, rapidamente avaliou a situação e enviou Susan para me ajudar. Fui tratado com dignidade, respeito e empatia por Ryan e Susan. A Susan estava disposta a fazer tudo para me ajudar. A frase indo além do dever não descreve nem mesmo como Susan e Ryan me trataram. Eu encorajaria aqueles que tiveram que esperar muito tempo para que uma pessoa da equipe se lembrasse, a equipe pode estar ajudando outra pessoa em diferentes partes da loja. Eu acho que Susan estava me ajudando por cerca de 20 minutos ou mais. Eu partilhei a experiência com meus amigos e os encorajei a dar um grito a esta loja.
Tive uma experiência avassaladora na loja Chamberlin s Natural Health. A Sra. Renee R ajudou-me em 2 produtos que me sinto muito confortável em experimentar. Ela conhecia muito bem o produto e o seu sorriso caloroso e assistência amigável fez-me sentir muito especial e bem-vinda à loja. Excelente serviço!
