Beautiful views. Great tasting of a wide selection of rose, white and red wines plus one port. Our host provided detailed descriptions of the wines and how they were made. She shared a great deal of expertise but was easy to follow. The price of the tasting was quite reasonable. We were all quite impressed.

Deixamos para o último dia da viagem no Douro e, ainda bem que visitamos a Quinta Maria Izabel. Foi a melhor visita de todas as Quintas. A vista da Quinta é espetacular! A visita foi hiper personalizada, com a muito simpática jovem Sofia (desculpe, mas acho que esse é o nome), que explicou tudo com detalhes, mostrando os vinhedos, o método de produção, armazenamento e finalmente a degustação. Fui com a minha família, com duas crianças (8 e 11 anos), que também adoraram. Não deixem de visitar a Quinta Maria Izabel, principalmente se a Sofia for sua guia.

Quinta Maria Izabel was a great winery to visit. Sophia is delightful and very knowledgeable. She took us on a great tour giving us expert knowledge on very facet of the winery, winemaking and the business. She oozes passion for both the industry and this winery. It was also great wine. We are Australians who have a good understanding of the wine industry and loved our time here. Highly recommended

We recently visited Quinta Maria Izabel and did a wine tasting afterwards. It was a great experience thanks to Sofia. She was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. She took the time to give us a complete tour of the Quinta before we had a wonderful wine tasting. Sofia took the time to explain every wine we tasted without rushing letting us enjoy every wine. The views of the Douro valley from the Quinta were breathtaking as well. By far our best visit to a Quinta in the Douro valley. I would recommend it to all.
