Fast paced nice Asian food. Stumbled across this place on our first night in Lagos. Nice food, it was busy but a nice atmosphere.

We visited Gorilla based off the reviews. The cuisine is Asian however we were disappointed with the food. I had the ramen which was under seasoned/bland.

When you are tired of local portuguese cuisine, Gorilla is the place to go. Love it! favourites are: duck ramen, jackfruit stir fry (vegetarian) and tofu pad thai! I was enjoying it too much to take picture. next time

Nice restaurant , the starters were delicious especially the smoked salmon kebab ! The restaurant is crowded at night , food comes in big portions

I wanted to give this place 6+ stars
I like to think of myself as a bit of a foodie, I’ve traveled a lot and eaten in many places.
And after reading the reviews I really wanted to give this restaurant a try, first impressions were great with welcoming staff. They couldn’t have been any nicer if they tried!!
The food came and the presentation was great and smelt out of this world!!! And the taste was to die for, the brain done over time trying to think of a time my taste buds were so alive with joy. Had to be one of my favourite meals of all time, eat here you won’t regret it :)

Beautiful and innovative Asian style food, the dumplings are gorgeous and made perfectly. The katsu starter is crispy and tangy and the accompanying sauces they give you for starters are gorgeous. The main we had was a noodle bowl with prawns and goodness me it was lovely. Deep rich broth allied to fresh prawns and vegetables as well as flavoursome chunks of some other white fish. The staff were lovely too, one went on his break just after we ordered and came over to wish us a lovely meal. Our waiter was beyond attentive and helpful as well as friendly. Highly recommended

Went for dinner as we were missing Asian food from home and it was a full house, but they were able to seat us outside.
Nice decor. Friendly service.
The food took a long time (seems like they are working on some kinks out with the utilities). They were apologetic about it.
The curry, wings, and soup were good. These were recommended
However the pad Thai was overly salted. The noodles were fried well but too much salt or fish sauce was used.
Would also love to see a chewier type of ramen noodle used in the ramen.
I do appreciate them trying a new cuisine In a small town, just wanted to give some feedback for them.

Wirklich gutes und leckeres Essen! Die Karte ist klein, aber dafür fein und alles frisch zubereitet. Das finde ich super! Die Bedienungen sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.
Was ich auf jeden Fall als Aperitif empfehlen kann ist der Lemongrass Basilito (mit Gin). Vorweg hatten wir die Dumplings und eine Kokosnuss-Shrimp-Suppe, danach eine Ramen-Suppe mit Shrimps und rotes Curry. Könnte schärfer sein das Curry, aber geschmacklich dennoch top!

Great Asian restaurant. All food prepared fresh including the dipping sauces. Red Thai Curry was beautiful and best Pad Thai I've had outside of Thailand ! Lovely home made desserts. Great staff too.

Besides some domestic issues between the staff the food and cocktails were excellent. The best food we have had in Portugal so far.

Another really delicious meal here. The dumplings for starters & the pork belly ramen were wonderful. Great stuff Ali. My frozen mango coconut daquiri was gorgeous Pinky! Love the new menu. Definitely a restaurant to go to frequently. Thanks for making food so enjoyable Barbara.

A lovely find in Lagos. The first Thai food I have eaten here for 3 years. The place is clean, the staff are helpful and the food is incredibly tasty. The red curry was delicious and spicy. My only very small complaint would be to have a larger choice of curries or stir fries on the Menu. This is only because I am limited by what I can and cannot eat

Os sabores diferentes que Lagos estava a precisar. Ambiente descontraído, atendimento simpático. Mas a limpeza não pode ser descorada. O local onde me sentei ( e estava vazio quando cheguei, por isso tinham tempo) tinha migalhas e formigas a passear. Às vezes acontece... Mas aquele cheesecake desconstruído, ui ui...

Really good place! Helpful and friendly service, nice location in the middle of the city, but a bit hidden, delicious and beautifully presented food. They have a few vegan options and even vegan desserts!

Ist okay , asiatisches Essen natürlich auf den Touri eingestellt. Darf man nicht zu viel erwarten , schwer aber asiatisch ( thailändisch) zu essen in der algarve .

Lovely little Asian restaurant in the centre of town. Good quality food and friendly service. About €12 for a main course and €5.50 for a glass of wine. We asked for tap water but they brought bottled.

The staff, atmosphere and food we all fantastic. A must place to eat. The pork dumplings were so delicious we had a second order! I have a shrimp allergy the chef and owner took special care to ensure that I was ok.

Good food but: the dumplings were a little burnt. We ordered a side of dumplings and pork bites to share but received two portions of dumplings.. no real issue there anyway. We ordered a bottle of rose wine, double checking it was the rose wine when he brought a sparkling rose wine. When the bill came it turned out is was a lot more expensive then what we ordered.. felt like a scam to be honest..

Fantastic food. Friendly staff. Portugal needs more fusion Asian food places and this is a perfect place for it. Went back a year later and they took out the rice dish in this set of pictures! Disappointing!

Das Restaurant findet sich in einer kleinen Seitengasse. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Geschmacklich ist das Essen sehr gut. Wir haben für eine Vorspeise, zwei Hauptgänge und zwei hausgemachte Limonaden insgesamt 34€ bezahlt. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es leider, da wir über 1h warten mussten bis das Essen kam. Dafür aber alles frisch gekocht und sehr lecker

Loved Gorilla for it's superb food. Menu is small but the variety is enough for any Thai lover to get what they want. I asked for something off menu and they were happy to oblige. Make sure you book, very busy.

This restaurant was incredible! Excellent food, and the dumpling appetizer was so good we ordered another round. Or waiter was very fun to talk to and they accommodated a bit allergy very well. Our favorite entree was the bao buns, but the massaman curry and pad Thai were also both excellent. They only take cash, so make sure you have some! There’s an atm down the street.

Buen sitio de comida asiática con curry, noodles y ramen. Todo es picante, así que ten cuidado si no te gusta. El pan bao fue un poco decepcionante. Las alitas de pollo están muy buenas. Hay opciones vegetarianas y veganas.

Best Asian restaurant in the region, your taste buds are spoiled. Everything freshly prepared in an open kitchen. We have been there twice and recommend Red Thai curry and Pad Thai with shrimp as well as the noodle soup! Good homemade desserts. Great young staff, can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Great service and friendly staff and not to mention the food is really good. I had the tempura prawns for starter and I ended up ordering another one. For mains I recommend the Pad thai noodles and Bao buns with 4 different stuffings.

Came here with my mum for drinks after lunch. The staff recommended the Portuguese green wine which was delicious! Great service and friendly staff, hope to come back for food sometime as the menu looked lovely (and the place smelt great!)
