Kay McMahon: The house is lovely - absolutely enormous, more than enough space for two families and within walking distance to local restaurants and various coves. Other beaches are a short drive away. The BBQ area could do with some lighting as it's difficult to cook in the dark. The location is suburban with views of nothing but other houses, & either side of the villa two new huge houses are currently being built. The house managers (Algarve Vacation) charge 2.9% to do literally anything so you end up paying for a service that is ultimately frustrating: we had 2 bathrooms unusable from day 1 due to slow drainage, and we told 3 different people yet nothing was done for our entire stay. They spam you with boat trip emails and even send round a (perfectly lovely) person to try to sell boat trips which I find intrusive and unnecessary (we had no intention of going on a boat trip despite the relentless hard sell).  It cost £12 to get our security deposit returned (despite not breaking anything) due to the 2.9% fee. And I'm still waiting for the change for paying for my welcome hamper as they didn't have any cash when we arrived.

Kate Newell: Love this place, it’s so relaxing. The staff are helpful and the pool are is lovely. There’s a convenience shop and a lovely restaurant.

Fiz uma viagem de sexta-feira à noite para escolher a decoração do Halloween, encontrei alguns globos solares e outras guloseimas. Enquanto a minha mulher resolvia isso, eu peguei nas lâmpadas de LED para a cave. Em seguida, verificamos o novo Ryobi um mais a pistola de cola quente para terminar decorações de bricolage e depois luvas de trabalho. No total, uma visita de 30 minutos muito produtiva.

Eu continuo tentando apoiar a Best Buy, mas o atendimento ao cliente é horrível. Frequentemente entro para ver o que há de novo e a única pessoa que sorri consistentemente é o tipo da segurança à porta. Nenhuma camisa azul ou membro do esquadrão nerd parece feliz, tudo é lento e eu nunca consigo ajuda imediata. Esta noite, depois de uma longa espera por alguém para me ajudar, tentei comprar um PC de caixa aberta e o gerente Bernard disse que não podia honrar o preço da caixa! O sistema informático não me deixa vendê-la por esse preço. Em que mundo de varejo isso é possível? Não vender algo pelo preço de um autocolante!? Eu saí e não tenho nenhum desejo de voltar à Hwy 280 Best Buy novamente!
