L'emplacement du domaine: dans un petit village typique et au cœur des vignes. Le design de la chambre mêlant tradition et modernisme et particulièrement de la salle de bain (tout en béton ciré). Le personnel très accueillant et une vraie mine d'information pour toutes les choses à visiter dans les environs

Absolutely outstanding! Was a dream setting, beautiful food, stunning decor, pool, vineyard in old manor house. Wonderful host, wonderful in every way. Make this part of your journey in Portugal. It was a highlight for us.

A most gorgeous setting you will not find anywhere. Lovely rooms, with walk-in showers and direct access to courtyards and pool. A nice breakfast and walks around the vineyards. Restored 17th century Villa where you might be lucky enough to have dinner in the old family dining room. Make reservations the food and ambiance is other worldly.

Todos têm que conhecer este aconchegante local. Além das excelentes acomodações, você tem na pessoa do proprietário uma pessoa amável, solícita e preocupada com o seu bem estar.

O local é interessante e bem enquadrado. Os quartos de paredes brancas e uma cadeira de lona e a sala comum da casa com mobiliário tipo ikea sem elementos de ligação ao passado. Pessoal simpatico e atencioso. Pequeno almoço na única sala comum muito limitado.

Hotel muito agradável, localizado em uma quinta. Acomodações boas, tratamento excelentes. Café da manhã mais simples quando comparado com outros hotéis que passamos. Jantar no hotel combinado com prova de vinhos produzidos pelo proprietário, tem que agendar, bom mas, achamos caro pelo que oferece.

The *superior* rooms are small and without view or windows. Only white walls. The hotel is almost the only place in the village without a view of the wonderful valley. After one night we asked for clean bed sheets, as our kid spilt in the bed (there's no other place to feed in the room, no chairs or furniture), then we were told it was not allowed to feed the kid in the room. Pretty absurd while paying 110 euro a night for the small room! Never experienced something like that. After mentioning this in a review, the owner sent us an aggressive mail, where he yelled at us for not being clean enough, in a really rude and unpleasant mail. «I never saw a family with such low careful of his personal hygiene like yours.», «The room have to be clean in such a deep way because it was unbelievable dirty. No words...». After ONE night and ONE tiny baby meal of porridge, come on! So, remember to clean the room well before you walk out in the morning in this «hotel», and bring plastic bags for garbage disposal, because the trash bin is very tiny. You should probably also bring some washing cloths and soap. The pool was also without a view, and had a temperature of around 10 degrees. And there was no stopper for the bathtub.. The emergency exit sign started lightening up the entire room at 3 AM in the night - and was almost impossible to turn off. None of the guests were told it was possible to get eggs to the breakfast. Only bread and cereals. When asked for some advice for walking tours - we were sent to the tourist information, which was closed. But the dinner and wines were very, very good. We had high expectations after several extremely good hotel experiences in Portugal, especially when you pay the double price for a quarter of the room size of for example «Aldeia da Mata Pequena» (in my opinion almost as spectacular hotel as Hilton Rangali Maldives). The village is wonderful, absolutely worth a visit! But I would recommend a more professional and pleasant hotel.

Apesar de colocarem fotografias do palacete os hóspedes são alojados numa zona nova que não tem nada a ver com o palacete. No entanto os quartos são simpáticos, mas pequenos. Na altura em que lá fui a água da piscina estava mal tratada.

Really one of the best places for a quite rural weekend in northern Portugal. Super helpful staff, a very committed local owner and a place full of character. I almost forgot, there's a swimming pool too.

Uma estadia ótima, marcada pelo bom gosto, simpatia e conforto. Recomendo vivamente.
