Silver Coast - the lovely place for couples My husband and I went to Silver Coast this April. Despite being there for only 10 days we really got used to the comfort and cosyness of Maria's apartments. The apartment is located in a new building and is very clean. It has stylish design, good furniture and appliances, air conditioning in each room, a big balcony where it was nice to sit in the afternoon and have a couple of glasses of sangria. We found it especially useful that the apartment has a washing machine and a dishwashe After morning run it was very nice to swim in the swimming pool that is located on the ground floor. You can also use wifi there. Even though we didn't spend much time in Sao Martinho and travelled a lot to the neighboring towns, I would like to say that Sao Martinho is a quite, calm and welcoming place. Apartments are located only 5-10 minutes from the beach. There are nice little cafes along the beach that offer a variety of food for anyone's taste, but seafood is their speciality. In April it wasn't that expensive and two people can have a nice dinner for only 30-40 euros. Ocean was unfortunately a bit too cold for our taste, but we really enjoyed strolling along the beach and being invigorated by the fresh air.
