Ich kann die Surf Schule uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Unser Coach Tatiana hat sich extrem viele Mühe gegeben und war immer super drauf und mit viel Spaß bei der Sache. Auch in der knappen Zeit konnte sie uns die Basics vermitteln und erste Stehversuche konnten wir am ersten Tag verbuchen. Wir kommen wieder!!! Vielen Dank noch mal. Obrigado ‍♂️

We did two lessons with Freeriders, both at the beautiful Praia do Tonel. Hugo and Tatiana were fantastic teachers. They got whole group standing like pro's within a few hours. Lesson was very chilled, informative and hands on. It certainly delivered on the laughs and fun department :-) Suits and boards were all in fantastic condition - a first for us. We will definitely come back... and 100% recommend to others .

Did the 3-day course and can definitely recommend Freeride for any beginner. Everybody is super nice and competent. The rental boards and wetsuits where in perfect condition. We did the lessons at Praia da Cordoama and it’s absolutely beautiful there and has great conditions for learning to surf. Hugo was our coach and instructed everyone very well. We had a lot of fun and will definitely come back.

Hugo did a great job! I really enjoyed the 4 sessions and the whole team is very friendly, supportive and flexible. Thanks!! Addition: came back several times over the last 2 years and had private lessons which helped me a lot to improve my surfing skills!!

I booked a beginners lesson with Freeride Surfcamp for my wife as a surprise, a long way to go from the UK I know but we were not disappointed. Our lesson was booked for the Saturday. The weather on that day was awful, high winds and driving rain. Our tutor Hugo rightly suggested that we would not have a great first experience to surfing so the school showed flexibility and moved our lesson to the Sunday. Sunday came and the weather was much better, still breezy but the sun was out. Hugo is an amazing teacher, in just 3 hours we were riding waves like the professionals... albeit laying down on the board! We managed to stand up a couple of times for a second or two which shows he is able to transfer his knowledge and experience effectively. Many thanks to the Freeride School, we had a wonderful first experience to surfing and came away wanting more ! Highly recommended.
