Be beware this is a tourist trap! I do not recommend this place, the prices are extreme, and the dishes are small. The food its ok but cannot defend the high prices. I will only recommend this place for a snack or drink

Für ein Restaurant am Strand, ist die Versorgung hier außergewöhnlich gut und Umfangreich. Gab absolut nix zu Beanstanden, von dem was serviert wurde.

The food was great, but the service terrible, to such an extent that it spoiled the whole meal. We waited at least 20 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. I saw someone having a dish that I liked, and on asking for the same, I was told that the person having that is the owner, and I cannot order the same. After the meal we had to eventually go our waiter and ask him to bring the bill, who then proceded to clean another 3 tables before getting the bill for us. Granted it was busy, but people seated after us got their MEAL before we got our drinks.....

Cheguei a este restaurante com traje de verão pois tinha acabado de vir da praia, o empregado vem à minha mesa e recusa-se, por ordem da gerência, a servir entradas contidas no menu, dizendo que tinha de pedir um prato principal para receber as mesmas.
Neste Inverno tinha visitado este estabelecimento mas estava deserto e aí pude pedir entradas sem qualquer problema.
Cheiro desagradável.
Funcionários antipáticos.
Não recomendo.

Após pedir três cervejas, recusaram servir entradas disponíveis no menu, alegando que tinha de pedir um prato principal para poder ter acesso às mesmas.
Cheiro desagradável no estabelecimento.

Nice restaurant with amazing view of the beach and sea. Lots of fresh fish wich you can see in the fridge. If you order, the show you the fish. Menu prices are for a kilogram, (€50), but feel free to ask the weight. The seabass was perfect, 650 grams. Not cheap (€30) but totally worth it! Friendly staff who speak English.

Este restaurante não é muito chic mas oque importa não são as aparências tem comida boa de todos os tipos ( carne, peixe e vegetariano) . Um parque para as crianças brincarem tem Wi-Fi e é bastante acolhedor.

J'ai commandé plusieurs types de poissons mais il n'y en avait pas. J'ai dû me résilier à prendre du porc (dommage pour un resto de poisson au bord de la mer). On m'a servi 3 bouts de gras avec un peu de viande et 4 frites... Décevant pour un plat portugais où on sert généralement de belles portions. Avec il y avait une demi tomate et un bout de brocoli sans sel. Pas de carte de boissons (sauf vins), pas de carte de desserts. Serveurs peu aimables. Définitivement une mauvaise expérience. Trop cher pour ce que c'est.

Atendimento péssimo. Não sabem se as mesas estão reservadas ou não!. Dão preferência aos Estrangeiros e não aos residentes que lhes pagam o Ano inteiro. Nem me sentei, sai porta fora. Não sei se mudou a gerência!

Price are extremely high, especially for fish. You pay per pk and you don't know how much it'll cost when you order. People are smoking in the restaurant. Service is quite poor. I wouldn't recommend it.

Sonne, Strand, Meer....und gutes Essen. Zugegeben, jedes Mal Fisch zu essen klingt nicht sehr nach „Heute probieren wir etwas Neues“ und dennoch taten wir das. Der angebotene Fisch war eben auch jeden Tag ein anderer bzw. entdeckten wir immer etwas Neues. Der Koch weiß Fisch zuzubereiten, die Preise sind echt moderat und die Bedienung ist super nett und aufmerksam. Es sind also alle Bedingungen für ein genussvolles Mahl erfüllt. Einfach probieren.

We stopped for quick lunch,had sandwiches with mozzarella, rocket and tomato,,but they had run out of rocket,didn't offer anything else,so I asked if they had at least lettuce, cucumber. It was a small pap seco roll,not even a nice crunchy big roll or Portuguese pao casario, disappointed.Tastless,expensive at 4.75€
The coffee was strong and I waited ages for extra milk,they were not that busy.
Would not bother again with here,much nicer places,and better service,prices,food elsewhere.

Unexpected place to eat and drink, food was great, beers were great , prices and value outstanding, but most of all the view can’t be beat.

Some people love it because of all you can eat offers but I think it compromises quality over quantity. Service was not good enough because it doesn't have enough staff for the amount of clientele

Es un Rte de playa por la ubicacion pero los precios por las nubes.
El trato demasiado fino para la zona donde se encuentra.
Y los detalles de servirte el pescado y el agua estan bien pero tambien te fijas como el metre le hace el comentario al camarero que no se preocupe al servir.
Y a los unicos clientes que tambien habia 2 hombres, por que el bebe que llevabamos lloraba y les molestaba, les hizo la puntualizacion de que no podian hacer nada aunque no fuesemos de su agrado.

Preislich sehr gehoben, besonders die für den frischen Fisch.
Preislich schwer kalkulierbar für die Preisangabe je Kilogramm.
Festpreise, beispielsweise für die Sardinen, waren allerdings top.
Geschmacklich war alles aber sehr gut.
Die Kellner waren freundlich und für Fragen offen.

Falta de simpatia dos funcionários (se falares em inglês) já existe simpatia.
Uma vez que também é apoio de praia, as instalações sanitárias devem estar desponiveis como tal, não à hora que os senhores querem, às 10h30 da manhã.
Uma das vezes que utilizei as ditas instalações (wc), disseram para ir fazer as necessidades ao mar.

El lugar es muy bonito, la comida es sabrosa pero la atención deja mucho que deseas, sobre todo la parte de la heladería, para pedir tienes que ir a la nevera y cuando ellos quieres te atienden.

Never go here, Absolutely disgusting food and service. Asked for anchovies, there was none, then asked for sardines none, so settled on fried the fried fish fillets. We were served cold battered mackrel with all the bones in, it was soggy and covered in vinegar and grated carrots. They then charged us an extra 20 euros saying you can't order a starter on its own because they loose money? Staff had a terrible attitude aswell

Horrible service! ⚠️
My family and I were attended by an uneducated and stupid waiter. The food is horrible, the meat was served raw and when I asked to roast the meat, they complained.

Greek Salad for 7€ without any lettuce-unexaptable. But they took it back,wheras we ate the burger. Not tasty,but stuffing.

Pésimo. Nos sentamos, leímos los comentarios de aquí y no nos gustó nada. Después de 15 mntos sentados y que no nos atendieran (el bar estaba con una ocupación normal) nos fuimos. Sin sentido con lo bien situado que está y el provecho que le pueden sacar.

Great location but the bar maid appeared to be very put out by the fact me and my friends ordered 55 cans of beer throughout the day. Weird. You'd think they would be grateful for this business, but they weren't.

Demasiado caro para o tipo de comida banal que é servida e o atendimento é muito fraco. Os empregados fazem um esforço mas nota-se a pouca experiência que têm. no geral, não é um sitio que pense em voltar a não ser pela vista.

Great fresh fish, very simply but tastefully prepared.
My only fault comes from the price that seems its a bit much for what you get, but I guess you also pay for the location.. The restaurant accept smokers.
Just ask the main waitress for the freshest fish and don't be afraid to listen to what she suggests and go to the stand and look at the fishes there to help on your choice! Most fishes can be shared and you won't be hungry, specially if you eat a starter.

Marisco e peixe frescos são uma constante no restaurante São Roque, localizado em plena praia. Percebes, ostras, carabineiros, lagosta e condelipas são petiscos impossíveis de recusar para quem lá vai. Se procura algo mais substancial, opte por uma cataplana ou caldeirada, ou até mesmo pelo peixe ou carne grelhados no carvão. Espaço simples, a decoração invoca o mar, que se avista a partir do interior do restaurante e, principalmente, da sua esplanada. A carta de vinhos apresentada está em sintonia com a oferta da ementa, havendo vários néctares a necessitar de atenção.
Seafood and fresh fish are a constant in the restaurant Sao Roque, located in the middle of the beach. Barnacles, oysters, prawns, lobster and condelipas snacks are impossible to refuse to anyone who goes there. Splendid view with big terrace. If you want something more substantial, go for a cataplana or fish or meat grilled over charcoal.

Muy poca cantidad, tuvimos que pedir patatas fritas después de ver lo que nos habían traído. El trato horrible. No recomiendo para nada
