Wonderful family experience! This place came well recommended so we decided to accept the waiting time of up to an hour. A drink on the roof top waiting area killed the time easily and probably was no more than 30 minutes in the end. The staff took really good care of our almost 2 year old, paying so much attention to her and our needs. Helping with the stroller, carrying the baby high chair, entertaining her. This was amazing considering the place was extremely full and busy. This made our dinner the most relaxing time so far. The food was very good, camarao and tuna as starters, Americano steak and tuna steak as mains. Did I mention the great service? Thank you!

Sehr leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung, schöne Terasse!
Die Karte ist klein, aber ausreichend. Das Fleisch ist sehr lecker, das Essen gut zubereitet. Ingedamt ist dad Restaurant sehr zu Empfehlen!
Ein Foto vom Essen haben wir leider nicht gemacht. Bei den Fotos huer auf Google sind allerdings authentische dabei.

Very loud open surroundings.. good food but parts of orders were forgotten and had to be asked for later and myself and every table around me had to call the waiter back as the Bill's were either wrong or the wrong change was given.

Friendly staff. They really try to make it a cool experience without overdoing it. The tuna was average but the "hamburger" in sweet potato bread was delicious. Need to come early or have a reservation otherwise you will wait for a while. The chorizo tapas is a must.

We visited this place 2 days ago and have already booked for tomorrow. Great atmosphere. Very welcoming and hospitable staff smiling a lot and creating relaxing homely atmosphere. I had grilled chicken which was delicious. Just the chips on their own I could eat every day. Make sure you book a table as it gets very busy after 7. A must to visit in Lagos

Très bon! On a pris un assortiment de tapas et c était délicieux. Les cocktails sont à tomber. Menu spécial enfant aussi .Et tout le personnel était aux petits soins avec nous et notre fils de 2 ans et demi!!! Encore merci. Un très bon moment !

todos os pratos são criados para atender ao público que vem do Reino Unido, que mais domina a cidade. os preços são salgados e todos os pratos acompanham batata frita e salada. um prato come duas pessoas mas o camarão frito cada pessoa tem que pedir duas porções. um dos poucos restaurante que serve cerveja artesanal. atendimento cordial.

Gutes Essen mit zuvorkommendem Service. Die Portionen waren ein wenig klein und das Steak war ein wenig zu blutig, aber kein Drama. Die Qualität war jedoch ebenfalls mittelmäßig, teilweise mit Sehnen im Sirloin Steak sowie fettige Stellen. Es gibt sicher bessere Steakrestaurants in Lagos, aber die Atmosphäre und der Service sind super. Preis/Leistung stimmt ebenfalls. Wir würden ggfs. wieder kommen und dann vielleicht kein Steak bestellen.

Service was fantastic and the food was exceptional! If you don’t have a reservation I would recommend getting there no later than 6pm, as it’ll fill up quickly. Great place for dinner and drinks!

We noticed many positive reviews about the Casa do Prego. We tried its food on a nice June afternoon..
We opted for black pork tenderloin with salumi slices and chips, and tuna steak. Both meals were very good.
We paid €37 for meals, bier and small glass of Poto wine. Reasonable price for good quality food.
We liked merry, informal and attentive waitresses.

전날 저녁에 여러명이 가려니 자리가 없어서 식사를 못했어요. 인기가 정말 많은 것 같으니, 단체로 가려면 미리 예약하시길. 그 이후에 혼자 다녀왔는데 참치스테이크 맛있어요. 약간 짠데 야들야들하고 비린내도 안나요. 피리피리 소스도 찍어 먹었는데 맛있었어용. 다른 메뉴도 맛있다고 하니 도전하세요!!

We visited Casa do Prego twice during our week long stay in Lagos. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It gets very busy after 7:30pm so making a reservation is better. I had the Lisboa steak and the Samui chicken which were both great choices. They also make a tasty red wine Sangria. It’s definitely worth visiting!

Rien que du bon ! Une équipe de jeunes souriants et sympas. Parlent peu le français, mais on arrive à se comprendre très facilement.. plats très réussis. Petite terrasse ombragée. Beaucoup plus de place à l'intérieur. Cuisine ouverte. Toilettes propres....N'hésitez pas !

Been there 4 times, this is like my cafeteria when I stay in Lagos and I'm blessed for that. People there are warm welcoming fun and really love cooking(I guess), try their meal it's full of good food.Just go there and feed yourself I say!

Casa do Prego is a must stop if you’re in Lagos. Some of the most professional staff we’ve ever encountered and the food is top notch! Vegetarian options are also available but be warned, the salads are huge!!! The sweet potato bun on the O Prego and their unique chips are a perfect combo!

Op Nieuwjaarsdag waren veel restaurants gesloten, dit restaurant was wel open. Hierdoor stond er wel een rij op de trap bij de entree, maar het personeel stond ons vriendelijk te woord. Na een kwartiertje wachten konden we eten. Het eten was erg lekker, een volgende keer in Lagos kom ik dan ook zeker terug.

Super restaurant! Produit de qualité, service rapide malgré beaucoup de monde en saison.
Très bonne organisation. Cet été nous étions sur liste d’attente, les serveurs nous ont installé en toit terrasse le temps qu’une table se libère. On vous propose des jeux de table afin de passer le temps.
Les plats sont simples mais bon. Ce n’est pas un restaurant gastronomique mais la carte est vraiment bonne.
Il est devenu notre repère à Lagos.

Atendimento informal sendo indicado para clientela mais jovem, embora seja aberto a todo o público.
Ambiente acolhedor (gostei do pormenor rustico do mobiliário, do pequeno terraço exterior - onde providenciam uma mantinha para aconchego do frio), comida super fantastica e preço a justificar a qualidade da comida/serviço.
Preço médio por refeição 25€ com bebidas.
Bom espaço e experiência a repetir.

We came here after reading the rave reviews but it was slightly disappointing. The service is good and the vibe is more modern than the average Portugese restaurants that are everywhere. But the food is not great and the prices a little bit on the high side. Some faults with our dishes: we were advised the steaks come medium rare as standard, but mine was definitely rare. I like rare steaks too, so I enjoyed it anyway, even though the quality of the meat was mediocre. The plates were not pre-heated and the chips were served almost completely cooled off, so after a couple of minutes I was eating a hot dish cold. Chicken breast was too dry. I don't think the place deserves the 4,8 average therefore I rate it lower.

The chocolate mousse is heavenly and the beef is really good!
We visited on two consecutive days at lunch, day 1 everything was outstanding, day 2 we ordered almost the same food and it was slightly less so - maybe two different chef's with slightly different skill level cooking those days? But it wasn't a big deal, we were very happy with both of our visits. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and I can't thank them enough for returning our forgotten camera when we came back 30mins later!

We (as a couple me and my wife ) really like the ambience and food , the biggest positive is the service , when you enter a restruant you would expect someone to greet you and ask us where to sit , the service here is extremely awesome for that reason

Such a great atmosphere, very welcoming. Outstanding food... seriously. I live in the states and I can't wait to go back and have their beet root hummus and the tuna in garlic YUM. And the Sangria?! Worth every penny. Our waiter (didn't catch his name) was so friendly and even brought out a map and drew us a route on how to get to the beach and gave us advice on which beaches to go to. Loved it

Wir waren heute mit 4 Personen zum Essen da. Ohne Reservierung haben wir sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Wir konnten sogar wählen zwischen drinnen oder draußen. Da der Abend noch schön war, haben wir uns für draussen entschieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nach den guten Rezessionen für das Tunasteak haben wir uns dafür entschieden. Ausserdem für Steak Americano und Lisbon. Der Thunfisch und die Steaks waren genau so gegart, wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten. Geschmacklich hervorragend und von der Größe der Portionen waren wir sehr zufrieden. Wir können die guten Rezessionen absolut unterstreichen und besuchen das Lokal mit Sicherheit wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Le restaurant casa do Prego est situé un peu à l’écart de la rue principale où tous les resurgirent touristiques proposent la même chose. L’entrée au restaurant peu de faire de 2 côtés. Personnel très agréable, nous avons vraiment bien été reçu.

Sehr preiswertes Restaurant mit super Speisen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist modern gestaltet. Das Personal hat teilweise Deutsch, Französisch und sehr gut Englisch gesprochen. Ein Besuch in diesem Restaurant ist definitiv zu empfehlen.

Pour commencer l accueil est top, leur système d attente est bien fait.
Un rooftop avec cartes et plaid pour patienté.
L attente au final n est pas si longue 10 à 15min grand max... Le personnel conseil (nous sommes français et avions quelqu un qui a pris le temps de traduire toute la carte), de plus le personnel est vraiment au petit soin. Nou avons fait des découverte local (très bon) et le raps dans son ensemble étais aussi bon.. Bref je recommande !

Our third visit to Lagos and our third visit to Casa do Prego. Their food is delicious and the service outstanding.
A small error regarding us not getting our food at the same time was excused and after the meal they surprised us with a free taste of their desserts (also delicious :-)
Everything done with a smile and a genuine feeling for giving us a really nice evening out.
Their rooftop bar was a perfect place to finish and a card game on the table gave an extra ++

The most overrated place in Portugal. The food was lower than the average, but the prices were quite high. We ate some horrible prawns and an even more horrible ham platter. The beef and pork tapas were OK, but I would definitely not come back. The drinks were bad as well, especially the wine. So overrated!!!!!

Em Lagos eu e meu esposo comemos em bons locais, mas Casa do Prego foi o melhor. Vale á pena esperar pois sempre está muito lotado, comi a melhor batata da minha vida e a carne e salada perfeitas. War super, das Essen ist perfekt, wir haben 45min gewartet, weil die Location immer voll ist, aber war wunderbar. Wir können gerne empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Leider war von der Bestellung bis zum Bezahlung nurca 35 min vergangenen und das obwohl wir 45 min auf einen Tisch gewartet haben. Hier wünsche ich mir mehr die portugiesische Entspanntheit.

We did not reserve a table so we tried one's luck. There wasn't a free table for four persons but 30 minutes later. We got a timer which blinks when your table is ready. Meanwhile we had some drinks on the rooftop bar. It is a really nice bar with firendly employees. The food was good and totally ok for the price. One of our steaks were well done and not medium, the waiter offered us a new one. Inside the restaurant it is very loudly and the atmosphere is a little bit stressfull. There was another room for lunch outside maybe it is more relaxing if you get a table there.

Bestes Restaurant in dem wir in Lagos gegessen haben. Sehr freundlicher Service. Es ist zwar sehr voll, aber es ist cool, dass man oben auf der Dachterasse warten kann. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig, aber lieber etwas weniger, aber dafür richtig gut. Jederzeit wieder!

We had a wait for the table due to us being a big number the tables upstairs have different games on which passes the time. The drinks were great. The staff kept us informed and also brought us a selection of nibbles for free which was a lovely touch too. The food was all Exceptional. Very attentive and friendly staff, our waitress was especially great asking my young nephew what he wanted instead of asking the adults and ignoring him. Well done all

Lovely food, lovely place, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. We had a great meal here on our last night in Lagos, and Caso do Prego really lived up to the hype - especially the prawn and tuna starters. The tuna steak main was notably fantastic too! Would definitely go back - do arrive early however, as when we left (at around 9) there was a queue for the queue.

Nos ha encantado este sitio, llegamos y no había mesa, pero la espera es mucho más amena si es en la terracita tomando algo y jugando a las cartas. Pedimos un plato que se llama "Americano" y el otro "Évora". Recomendamos sin dudar el primero. Los camareros son todos súper majos y el lugar es muy agradable. Repetiremos.

lugar muy recomendable. le doy máximo puntuación por dos motivos. uno; la excelencia carta (yo recomiendo el atún porque está increíble), quizá sea un poco más caro que otros restaurantes pero os aseguro que lo valen (los raciones son considerables). y dos; si tienes qué esperar porque no hay mesas tienen un sistema original y a la vez efectivo, te dan un dispositivo electrónico y te suben a una terraza donde puedes tomar algo mientras esperas y jugar a las cartas, dominó, etc. cuando el dispositivo se ilumina tu mesa está lista.

Небольшое меню и не совсем обычные блюда для Лагуша. Недёшево, но того стоит. Очень вкусный тунец идеальной прожарки и не менее вкусный стейк. Попробовали ещё тапас- креветки в лимонно-имбирном соусе. Объеденье!

A popular and hip restaurant in the centre. There's always a line up but if you go before 7pm there should be seating available. Some of the tapas we had were pretty good. My ahi tuna entree was amazing. My friends ordered a chicken dish and the steak sandwich and were not too impressed though.

We loved it here. Our waitress was incredible and made us feel like we were the only table she was taking care of, despite a full and busy restaurant. This place clearly looks after its staff as they were glowing and happy in their work. We’d cancelled at another restaurant after hearing the manager yell at his staff when we were booking, so this was a breath of fresh air. The food was delicious and we were treated to some local port on the house afterwards. Cant wait to go again!

Personnel très sympa et accueillant. La nourriture est convenable. Le steak de thon est bien cuit, bof pour le steak de bœuf. En revanche, je ne recommanderai pas en terme de qualité prix. Le lieu est victime de la ''hype'', le temps d'attente est interminable. Il y a en revanche des cartes de jeux et des couvertures en cas de léger froid pour aider à patienter.

La primera vez que pasas es posible que no veas el restaurante ya que esta encima de una tienda de ropa, pero cuando ves el cartel el acceso es muy claro. Muy buen ambiente y la carta sin muchísimas opciones pero de 5 que probé realmente exquisito. Es verdad que hay que esperar bastante y llegar pronto pero ellos mismos te avisan antes de hacerte esperar. Lo bueno es que arriba tienen una terraza donde puedes pedirte algo de beber y jugar a juegos de mesas rollo uno o cartas españolas lo que hace que la espera sea mucho más amena. Ademas tienen un lugar abierto ( el techo) dónde puedes comer pero cerrado para temas del viento y frío. Los dos camareros que me han atendido han sido muy amables y se han esforzado por hablar en mi idioma aún entendiendo yo inglés.

Had a meal in here a day before we left for home and wish we'd found it earlier!
The staff were very friendly and attentive and the roof top terrace a lovely place to sit and have a drink while you wait for your table.
Our daughter accidentally dropped a glass of coke and they cleared it away no fuss and the staff made her feel at ease by making a joke about it and even replaced her drink without charge.
The food was cooked really nicely and was served quickly and the atmosphere was buzzing. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Will be our first stop next time we're here

The food was very nice and the restaurant is very very cute. The only problem was that we have to wait for 1 hour and a half to get a table. We didn't know that when we get to the bar, we thought that I would be around 30 min but we spend like 90 min waiting. The staff is very friendly and they did their best but it was very busy. The servers were attentive and the place had a beautiful outside terrace to eat on which we loved. Get there around 6pm to avoid a lineup out the door. We definitely will be going back!

Wir haben während unseres Lagos Aufenthalts hier zu Mittag gegessen und wären gerne ein zweites Mal wiedergekommen - die riesige Warteschlange am Abend hat uns da aber einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. Wer hier in der Sommersaison essen möchte, sollte also für den Abend reservieren oder zum Mittagessen herkommen.
Die Beliebtheit des Lokals spricht für sich: Die Tapas sind hervorragend (vorallem die Gambas in Knoblauch und der Thunfisch in Senfsauce), die weiße Sangria ist sensationell lecker und mit pfiffigen Zutaten zubereitet (Minze, Gurke, Orange, essbare Blüten).Was uns nicht so sehr geschmeckt hat, ist die Hummuspaste aus Roter Beete - hier wird viel mit dem in Portugal offenbar sehr beliebten Korriander gearbeitet. Muss man mögen...
Weiterhin positiv anzumerken ist das Servicepersonal, das sehr freundlich und aufmerksam ist und zügig arbeitet. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, die Toiletten sauber. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist insgesamt absolut angemessen und lädt zur Wiederkehr ein! Klare Weiterempfehlung!

우노를 비롯한 카드게임 및 보드게임이 있으니 기다리기 지루하면 카드게임 하면서 기다리면 됨. 저녁에는 여름이라도 춥기 때문에 담요도 있음.
참치 스테이크가 이 집의 대표메뉴라고 하는데 진짜 맛있었음. 이 메뉴는 옆 테이블 뒷테이블 앞테이블 다 하나씩은 시켜서 먹고 있었을 정도로 인기가 많은 요리임.
미디움 정도의 굽기로 나오므로 웰던으로 먹고싶은 분들은 미리 말해야 함.
삐리삐리 소스로 양념된 새우 요리도 하나 시켰는데 이것도 맛있었음.
모처럼 매콤한 메뉴를 먹으니 입맛이 사는 기분ㅋ
음식을 다 먹고나면 작은 잔에 포트와인 주는데 이런 작은 부분으로 만족도가 더 높아지는 것 같음.
라고스 온다면 꼭 한 번 가볼만한 곳!

I actually enjoyed this restaurant so much that I came back twice in 3 nights in Lagos. The last time on my own!
Don’t be put off by the queue. They have a system where you are taken to the roof terrace while we wait and you can have drinks and enjoy the terrace.
Food is really yummy, prices are ok and the service is very friendly. Try out the tuna steak and the beetroot hummus. Oh yes, and the sangria!

We had lunch there, but the food was so amazing that we went there back again on the same day for dinner. The shrimps, the chicken, the steak , the cheese and of course the wine are just savoury!
I highly recommend it. The prices aren’t really high in comparison to the other restaurants in Lagos. The service is also excellent, the waiters are very friendly. Because the food is really awesome, the place tends to be full in the evening, so we had to wait upstairs on the terrace where we had ordered some drinks until we got a table.

Mixed feelings about this place. Staff were very good and the place itself was nice. But to be honest the tapas was average.
It was too trendy for it's own good. Loud music was a bit of a turn off. But then I think it's aimed at people younger than me.
On the plus side the tapas isn't expensive.

여기 정말 강추예요!! 너무 맛있어요~ 기본적으로 분위기도 좋고 직원분도 친절하고 맛도 있어요^^ 여자 둘이서 참치스테이크랑 비프스테이크 그리고 피리피리소스 곁들여진 새우타파스 먹었는데 정말 맛있었어요~ 스테이크도 알아서 미디움레어로 구워주시고 샹그리아도 맛있고 망고데킬라도 맛있었어요^^ 정말 강추입니다~

Hier gibt es super Steaks, leckere Tapas und frische (ungewöhnliche) Salate. Der Service ist großartig und die Preise sind moderat. Man trifft hier ein junges internationales Publikum an, aber auch viele Familien mit Kindern sind zu Gast. Cooler Laden, der zu empfehlen ist.

Si se estás harto de la comida tradional portuguesa (pescado a la graella, cataplanas, arroces...) es el sitio. Comida actual, como el precio. Picamos unos camarones que estaban de rechupete, y de segundo un atún con salsa de lima, gengibre, y otras cosillas, muy buena, suficiente para preguntarse el motivo de añadirle una salsa tártara. Yo comí un bife con una salsa de pimienta, y tuve la desgracia que me tocó el trozo con más nervio. Los acompañamientos los de siempre patatas (siempre buenas) y ensalada. Servicio: la chica que nos atendió muy simpática y atenta, pero de la cocina... de la gente que entró con nosotros, fuimos los primeros en sentarse y los últimos en levantarnos, por la tardanza en servirnos. Horrible. Supongo que soportamos una conjunción astral negativa.

Très bon restaurant et personnel chaleureux et accueillant malgré un resto bondé. Nous n'avions pas réservé mais le serveur nous a de suite trouvé une table et nous nous sommes sentis à l'aise. Plats autour de 15€ (steaks de thon, poulet et pièces de viande) et tapas autour de 7€. Cocktails excellents. Menu enfants à 8€ (gélatine en dessert par contre, les enfants n'ont pas aimé) et coloriage pour les occuper.
Pas typiquement portugais mais une très bonne adresse que je recommande.

Buena comida y un servicio muy amable y políglota, la carta es corta pero variada a la vez. Afortunadamente para nosotros cuando llegamos había una mesa libre, pero rápidamente el local se llenó y el ambiente acaba cargándose un poco. Precios un poco altos.

Delicious food but relatively affordable (average 15€ for a main dish). Staff really easy going and friendly. Nice patio on the back to have a pleasant lunch. We shared the tuna steak (Açores) and the pork dish (Évora) which was delicious. A great place for some contemporary Portuguese flavours. Recommended

The meat was excellent very well cooked and arrived on time.
My wife was pregnant so when we noticed that her meat was bloody they took it back and prepared right away a better one.

Viemos pela indicação do google e é fantástico. Enquanto aguardam a mesa vc pode subir no deck e lá ganha até uma cobertinha, fantástico. Atendimento ótimo, garçons mto atenciosos.. o meu prato estava gostoso foi o peixe, mas meu marido pediu a carne e veio um pouco fria e dura.. a sangria é uma delicia!

Merci Google pour cette excellente suggestion! Tel que d’autres l’ont mentionné, tout est parfait. Service hyper sympathique, le menu donne envie de tout essayer. Nous avons partagé trois excellents tapas, dont le thon dans une sauce à la moutarde et à l’ail. Divin. Très achalandé même à 19h en ce mercredi, ils vous offrent l’option d’un avertisseur électronique pendant que vous dégustez d’excellents cocktails sur leur très agréable terrasse sur le toit. Notre 30 à 45 minutes d’attente (on nous avait annoncé une heure d’attente) a fondu comme neige au soleil. Dès que l’avertisseur a sonné, nous sommes descendus avec nos cocktails à notre table sur une autre jolie terrasse à l’arrière. Et que dire de nos plats principaux! Le thon fond dans la bouche! La musique est bonne et juste pas trop forte. L’acoustique permet des conversations intimes, sans effort. Une expérience à ne pas manquer à Lagos. Enjoy!

Great food and atmosphere, best place to eat in Lagos. I took tuna steak which was perfect and my wife took an tenderloin, everything was good but definitely our mistake we forgot to say she like it well done, so she eat all except steak because it was rare and when stuff saw she didn't eat they felt bad asking for a reason and we didnt had to pay for it. We didn't want to be douchbags diva and tell people to recook it but this is reason why weitreess ask if all is ok during you eat - and at this place they really care. Great people, Great food.

Very nice staff!! we were a group of 8 without a booking but somehow they still managed to get us a table and food was very quick and really tasty. The photo attached is the O Prego sandwich. My friends also took the cheese, prawn and chorizo tapas which looked delicious. Highly recommended!

Ravintola on viihtyisä ja palvelu on ystävällistä. Ottamani alkupala oli herkullinen. Pääruoka taas ei ihan osunut nappiin, sillä liha oli hieman kuivan puoleista. Mutta kaiken kaikkiaan suosittelen paikkaa. Ja vinkkinä kaikille: tilatkaa liha mediumina - eipähän jää kuivaksi.

튜나 스테이크와 새우 요리 타파스를 시켰는데, 굉장히 맛있었다. 내 입맛에는 짜지 않고 간이 적당했음.
그리고 로제 상그리아도 맛있으니 꼭 마셔보길 추천한다.
종업원도 친절하고, 가게 내부 인테리어도 깔끔하다.
