We could tell it was a busy night and the staff looked run off their feet. We sensed a bit of tension but overall the staff were eager to please and even a bit comical. The seafood was pretty good. My partner loved his duck. The rose sangria was delicious. The setting is gorgeous.

excellent food, service, views and atmosphere! The seafood was fresh, so well cooked, and tasted so good. No complaints. One of the best restaurants we had in south of Portugal. The Fish was clean, skin crispy, perfectly cooked. Highly recommend to all!

You instantly feel at ease here. Warm welcome, not overdoing it. Service with a smile. We went for grilled octopus as a starter and the fresh dorade "to share" (offers differ for 1 person or to share) accompanied by a copo of vino verde. Perfect combination for a fab evening! Do check them out when you are in Salema.

Pour moi c'est un 4.5 sur 5 étoiles. Repas très bon, poisson frais, service impeccable et serveurs très sympa. Joli vu sur la mer. Dessert excellents. Je pense que vous devriez proposé plutôt des desserts de la région. Mais si non nous étions très satisfait.

Un restaurante de 10 no, de 15, comida exquisita por lo menos lo que yo pedí, pulpo a la brasa y pasta con almejas y mejillones, ah y el postre mortal de bueno, con nuestra perra tuvieron el detalle de ponerle un taper de agua fresquita, nos transmitieron relajación y fueron super amables.
Sin duda repetiremos!!!

Worst food I have had in a long time. We were a party of 5. Service was above average for Salema and the restaurant looked nice. The food was appalling. I had "Vegetable soup" to start. Chef doesn't season food or use stock to make his soup. The rest of the party had garlic bread, and chicken wingsI was jealous of the garlic bread. It was good. The chicken wings were served with a bottled bbq sauce on the side, it was not good. For mains I had duck breast with a honey and orange sauce the duck was way over cooked and the sauce tasted like bovril. My wife had linguine with a tomato and oregano sauce it was vile. The linguine was over cooked and almost mush the sauce tasted of neither tomato or oregano. One kid had French fries which were ok, another had "chicken steak" which was a wafer thin piece of breaded chicken that was way way overdone the last kid had chicken Caesar salad chicken over cooked and again bottled sauce. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Pleasant restaurant by the beach.
Helpful and nice staff.
Menu is simple, with good meat and fish options. Children menu is also available.
Main room not very spacious, but enough place for a quiet meal.
Meal quality is good, and plenty
Prices are high for what's on offer, but expected since you're at the beach.

OMG this is such a find!!! By far the best meal in the Algarve after 8 years! Tiger prawns, mussels, fish, desserts (totally worth every calorie- apple pie to die for!) and such incredibly fabulous service - just the best ever!!! Lovely sea view too! Cant recommend highly enough!! 5 stars & more!

Vitrine com boa variedade de peixe local ( pargo, robalo, dourada, corvina, linguado, peixe galo...)

War OK nichts außergewöhnliches. Für mal eben mittags war es ok. Ich hatte Spagetti mit tomatensoße war wie gesagt OK aber geht sich viel besser. Die Muscheln waren normal. Preis is auch gut.
Personal muss sich zwingen zu lächeln. Tolle Aussicht

Very pleasant evening, twice in a row, in this fish restaurant by the sea. Extremely professional and friendly staff matched with the freshest of fishes. Even the dessert on the menu claiming to be the "best chocolate cake in the world" probably is. Olhos N'Agua has to be the best restaurant address I have experienced in Portugal so far..

This is a great restaurant on Praia de Salema with great views, but even better food. Tapas selection is one of the best. Owner Alex and his staff are very welcoming team and make you feel special while you have a drink while ordering your meal. Highly recommended restaurant. A great new addition ate the fans with water cooling so you can enjoy your visit and not overheat. Salute and Enjoy!

This a regular place of my bosses and I got the opportunity to go myself tonight. They NEVER disappoint!! The staff a real breath of fresh air. Attentive... bubbly...friendly... The service is top notch and you're never waiting long for anything. This should be top of your list of places to go when in Salema...

Rated from a family perspective. Fantastic service, very well looked after. Food for kids was amazing and the seafood out of this world for adults. Wine recommendations fantastic. Location amazing, on the beach. Hopefully we'll get a chance to return.

Fijn restaurant. Uitstekende vis, maar ook de vleesgerechten - zoals eend en kip met geitenkaassaus - zijn bovengemiddeld. Personeel doet vriendelijk en professioneel zijn werk en maakt er een mooi avondje uit eten van.

Wieder einer der Geheimtipps von der Algarve. Direkt am Strand von Salema. Keine Reservierung möglich. Vor 19 Uhr dort einkehren. Super Personal und toller Chef.

Un buen restaurante justo enfrente de la playa del pueblo de Salema. Repetimos varias veces. Siempre pedimos pescado fresco del día. El sitio es sencillo pero bien puesto y agradable. La atención fue muy buena. Depende de lo que se pida puede no ser muy barato. Pero vale la pena.

We showed up early (for Portugal) around 7 PM without reservations and were able to get a table for 2 right away. Staff was attentive, probably the best service so far in a week, and fun/friendly. Ordered the bream for two and it was delicious, cooked perfectly and just the right amount of food. Side vegetables and potatoes were really tasty as well. Music was good too. Definitely would go back and order the cataplana (24 hr in advance) next time!

Stopped in here for lunch after taking a break from the beach. Had delicious fresh tiger prawns and an octopus salad that was amazing. Service was excellent and quick and the vibe is relaxing and laid back. Awesome view of the beach too

Schöne Strandbar mit gutem Essen zu angemessenen Preisen (Hauptgerichte cs. 8-12 Euro) für die Lage. Der weiße Sangria ist klasse, frisch und nicht zu süß. Leider ist die Atmosphäre steif und unentspannt, daran reicht die Qualität des Essens und die etwas gewollt gehobene Einrichtung dann aber doch nicht ran. Die Portionen haben zudem nicht alle satt gemacht.

Nice place to have a snack at the beach with a wonderful view of the sea! BUT this restaurant is quite expensive because you the portions are very small and it's nothing phenomenal.
