Pizza for breakfast with a stunning seaview, few steps to the beach and a lovely fisherman's village, plus best tips for activities & good food by the charming couple made our trip a dream coming true. Magnifique B&B ! Nous y avons passé un très beau séjour, l'emplacement est parfait, dans un petit village calme et idéalement situé pour une visite du parc naturel, et de toute la côte sud du Portugal. Plusieurs excellents restaurants se trouvent à proximité de l'hébergement. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et renseignés sur tout ce qui était à faire dans la région. Bons plans garantis ;-) Le petit déjeuner avec vue panoramique sur l'océan était parfait, et la chambre aussi.

bellissima esperienza in una localitá mozzafiato. Francesca e Pier sono stati molto gentili sia nell accoglienza, sia nella nostra permanenza a Salema, ci hanno fatto sentire in casa e dato molti consigli utili su dove andare o cosa fare. La stanza é ordinata, pulita e luminosa,e la colazione su quel terrazzo ti mette di buon umore giá di prima mattina! Non esiteremo a scegliare questa stessa casa quando un giorno ritorneremo! grazie ancora di tutto :-)

We highly recommend Casa de Aroma if you are planning to stay in the Sagres area, or want to experience the quiet and picturesque village of Salema. Our hosts, Francesca and Piere were very friendly and helpful, opening up their home to us in the spirit of genuine hospitality. Our room with a double bed With Ocean view was fantastic!! Every morning, we woke up to breakfast on their terrace overlooking Salema and the Ocean. Our hosts were available for any questions we might have and seemed genuinly happy to have us there. We did not get to try their Italian home made dinners, but will definitely try it next time we visit. Thank you so much for this unique hospitality experience!

Maison accueillante et chaleureuse. Pierre cuisinier et maître de maison nous a concocter un repas avec des mets Italiens (c'est sa région d'origine) à tomber par terre le tout accompagné d'un vin exceptionnel et d'un Limancello excellent. Lieu à recommander.

Positive: Wonderfull place in small village Salema. Very nice and helpful Italian hosts. 3 min. walk to the beach and restaurants. Perfect swimming pool for relaxation in the afternoon sun. Simple but tasty breakfast. Would recommend this place for everyone..

Ho trascorso due notti in questo fantastico villaggio di pescatori e l’accoglienza di Francesca e del suo compagno sono state eccellenti. Loro sono molto gentili e sempre disponibili. La stanza è curata nei dettagli, molto pulita, la colazione sul terrazzo ottima. Si raggiunge il centro del villaggio in pochi minuti a piedi. Lo consiglio vivamente!

If visiting the beautiful town of Salema for a night or two, this accommodation is everything you need. With thoughtful seaside decor lined through out the house and a hearty breakfast laid out for you on the balcony with a stunning seaview. This family of Cooks make you feel right at home when away from home. Aroma di Casa is located in a prime location just 5 minute walk from the beach. Great food places nearby. Shared pool is large, ocean view and very close to the apartment . Salema is a peaceful and quiet town to just disappear to for a while. Definitely would recommend! Private part is divided from guest part with an insectcurtain, "breakfast" contains four toasted sandwiches with a jar of nuttela, no hot water in the shower, showercurtain falls down, penetrating smell in the apartment. We have asked for a refund of the night we did not stay at this place, the host never replied on this..

Positiva: En general todo muy bien. Pier nos escribió para saber sobre nuestra llegada, fue muy atento tanto él cómo su cuñada. La habitación muy limpia y acogedora. El desayuno estaba bien y con unas muy buenas vistas al mar. Además incluía poder ir a la piscina del hotel de al lado..

The best way to complement the visit of the lovely village of Salema is staying over at Francesca and Pier, where you feel at home and welcomed everyday with a warm smile and a sweet breakfast! We stayed over for three nights and could have easily stayed longer! We also got helpful tips for hiking, kayaking and discovering the area.. We can highly recommend staying there.

Francesca and Pier are fantastic! Their hospitality is impeccable. From the moment I arrived, actually quite earlier than expected - they were there to greet me, I even got hugs upon my welcome and were more than happy to help with anything. I arranged my taxi transfers through Francesca prior to my arrival. Pier gave me THE BEST restaurant recommendations to try the locale cuisine in true Algarve fashion. There’s a little wooden basket full of brochures and bus schedules to check out places in the vicinity. With Francesca’s recommendation to hike the Rota Vicentina, I hiked from Salema to Praia Boca do Rio, Cabanas Velhas Beach to Praia do Burgau. I also hiked from Salema to Praia Santa, Figueira, Praia de Blimunda e Baltasar, and Praia das Furnas (I recommend using the app Wikiloc to hike mapped trails). She also gave me awesome tips for Olhão. So definitely seek them out for local tips! Breakfast: I was blown away by the options, the delicious coffee! and the hospitality/ service. Melon one day, homemade sourdough bread, homemade pumpkin ginger jam, yogurt drinks, green apple and aloe/spirulina juice- the list is endless. They showed me this native berry in Portugal, which was also delicious. The view is really breathtaking and an amazing way to start your morning. The room: Such stylistic touches from the color patterns, to the layout and the cute private area with seats outside and a place to dry my swimming clothes after a day out in the ocean. There were ample blankets, a fan, pillows and plenty of closet space. The WiFi connection is also reliable. Bathroom: Kept super clean! There's a blowdryer too. Visit, have breakfast on the balcony, take a deep breath and think about your next trip here to visit again because it really is that special. Can’t wait to visit again in the future!

If you had made the mandatory registration, you would know I stayed at your place for 3 nights starting 17th. We thought it was very unpleasant that you asked us to pay you cash just as we got there, without letting us even the time to unpack our stuff (and we told you that already). I put one star because we were very unsatisfied by the apartment, as we told you from day 1. It was not what we expected and the price was rather high. No problem for the karma, I am immune to any spell Se tu avessi fatto la registrazione di ogni ospite, com’è d’obbligo tra l’altro, avresti saputo che sono rimasto da voi dal 17 al 20. Abbiamo trovato davvero brutto che appena arrivati ci avete chiesto il saldo cash + cauzione, senza neanche lasciarci il tempo di scaricare la macchina, e te lo abbiamo anche detto. Ho messo una stella perché siamo rimasti insoddisfatti del servizio e te ne abbiamo fatto parte dal primo giorno. L’alloggio non corrispondeva a quello che ci aspettavamo né nel suo aspetto né nella sua agibilità e servizi. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo é stato per noi molto inconveniente per questo alloggio. buona continuazione e nessun problema per il karma...sono immune da ogni tipo di sortilegio!

Posto favoloso, vacanza stupenda legato alla cordialita' e gentilezza dei gestori. Alla prima occasione ci tornero' ben volentieri e lo.consiglio a tutti.

Aroma di casa is the perfect place to relax, admire a fantastic landscape with our loved ones and appreciate the tranquility of a picturesque and traditional fishing village. The rooms, very bright and comfortable, are exceptionally clean, as are the bathrooms and common areas. The owners, Francesca and Pier, are sunny and helpful people, they gave us many tips on beaches to visit and typical places to eat. It is also possible to have a delicious breakfast on their terrace overlooking the sea, with excellent home-made bread. What can I say, highly recommended!

We spent a lovely time at Aroma di Casa (actually, it was our honeymoon!). This location is perfect for people who are looking for moments of peace away from the crowds of tourists. Francesca and Pier are great hosts - very friendly and helpful. They have recommended us places worth exploring on the coast of the Algarve and those which are not so common. Thanks to them, we have discovered beautiful, almost empty beaches where we could really relax. Moreover, we could enjoy delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Aroma di Casa was the best choice for our accommodation - we heartily recommend it. We took wonderful memories from Salema! ❤️

Francesca and Pier were great hosts! Their helpfulness was amazing. Francesca was ready to tell us about anything worth seeing in the region (best beaches around, best restaurants etc.) and Pier's breakfasts were tasty! Room was clean as well as whole place :) If you want to find your perfect rural retreat - it's your place!

Francesca e Pier mi hanno accolta con grande disponibilità e professionalità... con un mare di indicazioni riguardo alle spiagge, ai luoghi da visitare, sulle attività che si possono fare, e dove mangiare: sono meglio di qualunque guida turistica. Salema e la loro terrazza sono un piccolo paradiso, con una vista mare mozzafiato, con tutte le comodità necessarie (piscina, spiaggia di sabbia incantata, possibilità di noleggio attrezzatura, bici, tour... ristoranti...) ma con la tranquillità di un borgo di pescatori (nulla a che vedere con il caos delle grandi città sulla costa)! ... grazie hai consigli di Francesca ho scoperto la ‘rota vicentina’ ... un modo diverso x raggiungere tante spiagge e calette, alcune solitarie xké nn raggiungibili in macchina... e comunque con un punto di vista tutto diverso! Pulizia eccellente, camera spaziosa e un’abbondante e curata colazione vista mare... Insomma... grazie Francesca e Pier... spero di poter tornare presto!!!

Pieralberto and Francesca are very nice and gentle hosts. The room is as expected and the bed is very comfortable! The bathroom is shared with the other guests, but always clean and welcoming. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, with home made bread as a top detail which makes the experience really enjoyable - and the view from the balcony is perfect. The flat is right in the center of the town, which makes it easy to move around without using the car. Definitely recommend!

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits dans ce logement avec vue sur l'océan depuis la chambre, nous avons fortement apprécié les petits déjeuners sur la terrasse toujours face à l'océan. Le logement répond parfaitement à la description et nos attentes. Il est aisé de se garer à proximité du logement, et de descendre à la plage a pied. Francesca et Pierre ont par ailleurs été de bons conseils en nous indiquant leur petits endroits préférés de la côte ouest de l'algarve (plage magnifique peu fréquentée, spot de surf, lieux pour profiter du coucher de soleil, petit restaurants etc.), autant de bons conseils qui nous ont permis de profiter au maximum de cette partie de l'algarve sauvage et peu fréquentée. Accueil chaleureux, on recommande fortement !

Francesca e Pier ti accolgono con sorrisi radiosi e con la loro cura e simpatia ti fanno sentire a casa. La vista sul mare é stupenda e la prima colazione é ottima e abbondantissima. Questo posto é magico veramente da provare!

Wspaniała atmosfera, pomoc na temat lokalnych miejsc i atrakcji, otwarta postawa i chęć pomocy w każdej sprawie. Francesca i Pier stworzyli wspaniałe miejsce, w którym czuliśmy się bardzo swobodnie. Śniadania na tarasie, zapach gorącej kawy, widok na ocean i muzyka w tle, to wszystko mówi samo za siebie. Perfekcyjne miejsce na nocleg, poznanie ciekawych osób oraz posmakowanie tradycyjnych smaków portugalsko- włoskich. Gorąco polecam ❤️

Francesca and Pier are wonderful hosts! They have created a beautiful space for guests in their apartment and provided great local tips. Breakfast on the balcony is a real highlight! (You must get the big breakfast at least one morning-crepes are delicious!) Would recommend for anyone visiting Salema!!
