Nice view, very attentive staff and the food was excellent. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend.

Bonito sitio, con unas vistas preciosas. El personal tiene un poco de descontrol cuando se ve saturado por la marea de turistas que quedemos comer todos a la misma hora pero si vas pronto y con paciencia, disfrutarás de un gran almuerzo, variedad de pescado fresco y hamburguesas con buena pinta. Todo muy bien presentado.

What a great couple of days. Fantastic service and first class seafood. Absolutely a must for a day out. Decadent delightful and delicious. Cat think of a bad thing to say. Cristina and I will be back.

The views can't get better than this. Peak lunch time can get very very busy. No options for vegetarians other than grilled / roasted vegetables which was good (was served in a sweet cinnamon sauce, quite unique). Fish as usual in this part of Portugal is not cheap. Clean place with clean toilets too. Staff was very polite and kind. Speed if service could have been better. If you are there just for a cold beverage then be ready to stand for about 15-20mins.

Die Lage ist sehr schön und der Ausblick wirklich nett. Das Essen war ganz OK, aber es gibt definitiv Potenzial nach oben. Die Preise sind auf Touristen ausgerichtet (und dafür war die Qualität dann doch eher mäßig).
Wirklich getrübt hat den Besuch, dass:
1) ein Haar im Essen mit gekocht wurde;
2) ein Glas vorher benutzt und das Besteck auch nicht sehr sauber waren;
3) ein Kellner ein Getränk auf uns umgekippt hat (kann vorkommen), es dann aber keine echte Entschuldigung gab (z.B. ein Getränk aufs Haus).

Nudeln mit Hühnchenstreifen -18€ da erwartet man schon etwas mehr ... Fisch schwimmt im Öl, Kellner wollte uns einreden wir hätten das Essen sehr genossen.... alles in allem eher kein schönes Erlebnis, dafür ist der Strand sehr schön

Después de una hora y media de espera.... El pulpo y la hamburguesa quemados.
El salmón y el sándwich ( que es un bocadillo) pasables.
La cocinera gritando al camarero.
En fin, yo no lo aconsejo: mala atención, peor comida y tiempo de espera interminable.
Supongo que hoy no era su mejor día.

Muita qualidade para um simples bar de praia que de simples não tem nada... muita variedade, ótima apresentação e tudo super saboroso, o staff é espetacular e super atencioso. Se é caro.... depende do ponto de vista, paguei bem, mas fui muito bem servido.

Very good restaurant with a friendly and attentive staff! During our one week holiday we had dinner there four times and were always amazed by the food (in sharp contrast to our hotel buffet). If you love meat ask for the “Tomahawk” steak. It is incredible! But the fish dishes are amazing as well and everything is very fresh. Definitely worth a visit. Note that the opening hours are currently misleading. The place is open way beyond 19:00 and you can have a relaxed dinner (today even with very nice live music). Go there you wont regret it!

Nice location in the shadow by the beach. However, expensive food (€4 for a small plate of fries) and poor service. We were ignored for around 10 minutes after seated until we got the food menu.

Normalmente escrevo se algo me surpreende muito pela positiva e é relevante referir o restaurante. Neste caso, escrevo pelo anormal absurdo que é este restaurante e o peixe que lá vendem. Sendo português, e turista, nunca vi preços de peixe serem praticados a estes valores, nem em marisqueiras. 25 euros por uma espetada de tamboril, ou polvo, e o mais chocante 65 euros por quilo em qualquer peixe fresco, fazendo com que uma simples dourada grande neste restaurante possa custar mais que 65 euros. Está bom para turistas, e mesmo assim tenho pena deles. Contudo, fomos bem atendidos, a refeição estava boa. Mas não comemos peixe, num restaurante português, á beira mar plantado, com uma variedade de peixe disponível. Obrigado.

Great food. The best food we had on our holiday. We had lunch and dinner several times during our 10 day stay. The kitchen closes at 6 pm (late October) but they do not rush you out and are happy for you to stay until you are ready to leave. Beautiful views over a beautiful beach.

Charme unique sur la plage de st rafael ! Agréable accueil, bon service, plats très bons. Le serveur a fait l'effort d'échanger quelques mots français :) comptez au minimum 50e pour 2 (juste les plats) mais ça vaut le détour ! Spécialités locales : morue grillée, poissons locaux, pâtisseries typiques ! Je recommande.

Chiringuito con comida muy rica a precios muy asequibles, hemos comido varios días y no nos ha defraudado, están ricos tanto los sándwiches, como el pescado, los cócteles... me gustó especialmente el bacalao figeira, buenísimo!

A really good restaurant located on the beach, the staff is very efficient and friendly helped us despite not having a reservation.
The menu is very wide and varied as you can eat from a sandwich to a fresh fish and everything prepared with great care in the details; good desserts too.
As a tip try to avoid the rush hours without reservation.
The bar elaborates some impressive cocktails

Competent stuff. Wonderful view close to the sea, beach. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere with music. Fresh Food, served very appetisingly. Fish and meat Kebabs highly recommended!

Really friendly staff very attentive, food very good, better than average for the area. Very enjoyable experience and woukd recommend. Great sea bream and T-bone steak.

La nourriture est bonne, mais le service est vraiment déplorable, entre le serveur qui se gratte les parties intimes devant tout le monde et les autres qui baye aux corneilles je vous conseilles d'aller voir ailleurs !

PRECIOS: 25€
ATENCIÓN: mala. Bastante desatendidos. Tienen un extraño humor 'catalán'
A FAVOR: vistas al mar. La apariencia de los platos y bebidas es bastante atrayente
EN CONTRA: sus productos son caros para la cantidad que traen y no tienen mucho que envidiar a chiringuitos más familiares. Si quieres pagar con tarjeta, tienes que levantarte e ir a la caja.
RECOMIENDO: bacalao, hamburguesa

Fantastic fish and lovely view of course as right on the beach. Waiters not attentive although many of them. However the seafood starters were little disappointing, clams just drenched in butter and herbs. Prawns were ok but expensive €15 for starter and not that great. I don't mind paying if it was top notch but it wasn't.
Fries as side dish for lunch was awful, hard crunchy and thin, no potatoes to it!
However my fish one evening was the best dover sole I have ever tasted, it was grilled to perfection and huge! Flesh was juicy inside and crispy outside/edges. That was €52 which was shocking as we silly enough did not ask for price, staff just showed us at the fridge display and we okayed without knowing price!
Glad I tasted it and had it, it was very delicious but if I knew the price I would not have ordered. If you have the money to splash then definitely try. My husband ordered kebab on skewers, came hanging on a display looking posh, he said it was ok but nothing special. That was €25 so we didn't get knocked off our chair. However they must need the money to pay the rent for that location.
Tip - remember ask for the price before ordering!!

Really good food with an amazing view. The staff are very friendly. But is also expensive. We got prawns as a starter and the fish of the day for a main dish which was seabass with baked potato, vegetables, and salad on the side. For desert we took the Portuguese traditional almond's cake. It costs us 56.5€ for the two of us. I would recommend it for an afternoon visit.

THE RIP YOU OFF.
If you buy wine they give wine from € 27 per bottle
They give way too much food, you can not eat all of it.
If you buy fish you get fish but this is therefore far too big and the price is 2x.
They indicate that a fish for example € 60, - but mention not that this is pro kilo.
If you want to buy something cheap like salad as a meal, then they suddenly don't have it no more.
They waiter that help you in the beginning was nowhere to be seen at the end.
Appointments ????? their know nothing .....

It looks very pretty and the view is excellent. Pity they don't let you to sit just for a drink. It takes ages to get a drink in the bar.
