Prostředí nic extra, docela tmavé místo, ale na jednu noc to ničemu nevadí spali jsme tam ve 3 lidech a dostali jsme soukromí pokoj, což bylo moc příjemné. A platili jsme i velice příjemnou cenu 22€ + 4,5€ záloha předem za 3 osoby. Takže na jednu noc to bylo fajn.

Very discreet place and there are no sign outside, but Augusto sends you an email with all the details so you find the place right away. It's oldish and dark and some might find it a bit creepy (kind of in a movie ..) But it's an old house and it's very spartan. I actually kind of liked the feeling.. Perfect if you stay a night and have to catch a train or bus as it is a few steps away. Quiete place.. There are only 2 bathrooms which might be uncomfortable during high season. It was good for me and I found Augusto welcoming and very accommodating.. If you are looking for a cheap place well situated this is a perfect option. I liked my basic room, I didn't need more than that. It's a small hostel, nothing fancy.. But won't find anything cheaper and so well placed... And I found it clean too!

Very rude owner who has some kind of anger issue. I arrived at 12pm although check in is only from 3pm onwards just to drop off my luggage and asked if it was ok to take a shower. The staff who let me in said yes no problem, so I did. 10 min later the owner appeared shaking with anger because I had showered before the checkin time. Same with the next morning. The lady told me no problem to leave my luggage in the room after check out until my train leaves, but then the owner appeared again and kicked me out with all my bags.

I booked this place 1 month before hand. The evening before my arrival I received an email requesting passport documents at 6 pm. I didn't see this email until after I returned home. He had sent another email at 9pm saying my reservation had been cancelled due to me not responding quick enough despite all the bookings having been pre- arranged. I went to the hostel and he began by explaining that I wasn't welcome with hostility with no explanation as to why, and I hear from the hostel that I found around the corner that he is doing this to male guests only. Seems very suspect... Do not trust this guy. AVOID!

Het hostel komt absoluut niet overeen met de plaatjes op Hostelworld, het is er donker, duister en lichtelijk vies. We hadden een reservering gemaakt en een deel van het bedrag betaald, eenmaal in het hostel aangekomen kregen wij de mededeling dat onze reservering was geannuleerd omdat we niet hadden gereageerd op zijn email van die dag ervoor. Hier waren wij het absoluut niet mee eens omdat verder alles in faro vol zat. Na wat uitleg was het opeens geen probleem om toch in te checken. Omdat wij maar een paar uur in het hostel zouden verblijven besloten we hier toch te blijven maar voor de rest zou ik hier absoluut niet naartoe gaan!!!!

Really weird place...we waited a while for the owner to show up and rang a bell to enter the hostel. The owner is friendly and knows the city well but the room had no lockers and staff members would just come in and out. We didn't have enough plugs for chargers and not enough lights, and had one fan for ventilation in the 6 person room. This morning the cleaning lady was in at 8am while we were all sleeping...plus she took things (shoes and shampoo for example) from our room because she thought it had been forgotten by someone else. Other than that the kitchen doesn't have much to offer and bathrooms smell really bad.

O dono deste hostel e' extremamente sem educacao. Eu tinha uma reserva pelo hostelworld. O check in era ate as 23h. Expliquei por email que eu chegaria as 22h05 no aeroporto, e que pegaria o ônibus ate la (ele informou que o trajeto duraria 15 minutos), mas mesmo assim perguntei se haveria problema, mas nao houve resposta. O onibus atrasou um pouco e estava a porta do hostel as 23h04 literalmente. O sujeito não fez meu check in, falou que eu estava atrasado e mesmo eu explicando o motivo e falando do email, ele mandou eu ir procurar outro lugar. Falei que era um absurdo, que o tempo que ele estava falando isso, ja daria para ter feito o check in. Ele simplesmente disse que o hostel era dele e que ele fazia as regras. Ou seja, NAO PERCAM SEU TEMPO COM ESSE LUGAR HORRÍVEL E COM ESSA PESSOA SEM O MINIMO DE RESPEITO COM OS HOSPEDES. O PRECO PODE PARECER CONVIDATIVO, MAS NAO SE ENGANEM. Ha outras reviews muito ruins no hostelworld. Alem de tudo, Lagos e' muito mais linda que Faro.

The staff had apperently a vert bad day. Allso the hostel lists age restriction 35 years online, but on arrival it sayd 30.
