Beautiful villa about 20 minutes from Faro. Well-equipped but lacking written instructions for appliances and lighting/shutter system. Also had to use VPN quite a bit. Do bear in mind that it’s situated in the countryside in a farming area, so we did see rats in the garden on a few occasions, which was why it lost a star. Not for the faint-hearted!

I have visited this villa twice this year and it has been amazing each time. The host is extremely helpful and friendly. The grounds are kept spectacularly clean. Large open spaces very bright and modern. So many stunning bathrooms to choose from. The pool is lovely being a Salt water pool. The only two downsides for me were the gardeners being in all day on a Wednesday literally there until 2pm... Having lost a whole day sunbathing when I'm only there a few days is disappointing but needs the upkeep. The other let down is the stray dogs outside. When leaving the villa your greeted by angry dogs. I felt very scared and uncomfortable on this occasion and wouldn't recommend children be left alone!!! Plus they bark loads, but being a country house it's fair to say you should expect noises lol. I would still recommend as the pros completely outdo the cons.

Amazing place to stay, location is in the countryside so extremely quiet apart from a ticking noise from the local water tanks. The beds weren’t that comfortable and we did spot the odd rat in the garden. Apart from that, the host was really nice and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. (July 2019)
