Best Hostel EVER! The owner is the friendliest most welcoming host that sits down and keeps you company while he offers you 1 Euro beers. We left for Largos to a few days and he was more then happy for us to chill out the back and drink his beers while we waited for our flight later in the day. Would recommend indefinitely.

This place is personal... Loved my stay. It was quite out of the way.. The owner is awesome and will definitely go back!!!!

It is a very special place! Nuno the owner is an open heart and is welcoming everyone with a smile. The atmosphere in the hostel is very cosy and familiar and makes you feel like home. We've been here on a monday and that was a good idea because every monday there is a party in an old warehouse by the seaside. Definitely worth a stay. And the beer next door was 60 cents :D

What a great welcome in Faro! The staff is super friendly and helpful with any questions. Also gave us a generous compensations as the showers weren't working for one night due to a waterpipe damage. The backyard and rooftop view are amazing. Would stay here anytime again!

Wunderbare Atmosphäre, schöne und saubere Zimmer und super freundliche Menschen dort. Es fühlt sich eher an wie bei Freunden zu schlafen als in einem Hostel. Gut gelegen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Lovely and helpful staff, and facilities. The hostel is in a great spot, central and easy to get to and from the bus station, into the shopping area and old town. The rooms are quite spacious, and give you your own locker to keep your things which makes you feel very safe. The hostel isn't a party hostel so people don't come home making a big ruckus, however your welcome to go out and enjoy yourself. The rules enforce or remind people to be respectful of others! The kitchen is great can make up your own meal very easily! 110% would go back an awesome experience.

Extremely helpful "pirates" Chilled atmosphere, light breakfast. Very cosy backpacker-styled place; makes a backpacker feel at home when on the road. Really hot room, couldn't be countered by fan at all. But part of the experience.

Best hostel I have been in Portugal so far! Nuno and Diogo are very welcoming and helpful when it comes to giving tips what to do/where to go. Keep it going! Hopefully see you again next year

très mauvaise expérience cette auberge refuse les enfants, sans prévenir, alors que nous avions réservé et donné une avance, nous nous sommes retrouvé dehors sans hôtel avec nos deux enfants après 19h il n'y a eu aucune raison valable à ce refus, aucune sensibilité non plus d'ailleurs la personne est restée indifférente et n'a proposée aucune compensation, aucune solution alternative ! alors que leur site prône la bonne humeur le respect et compagnie ! on ne sait toujours pas pourquoi ils refusent les enfants, pourtant nos enfants (6 et14 ans) n'ont pas eu le temps d'être mal polis et n'ont rien cassé !

If you are looking for a clean hostel, roof terrace, positive energy and nice people, then the Backpackers Asylum has to be your choice. My favourite in Faro! Besides: Nuno is an awesome host

Nice place. Good common area. The host, Diego, was accommodating. 8 room dorm was quiet enough. Location is a 10 minute walk from the train and bus stations

I was only there for one night for about 10 hours a's it was a stop gap to get to the airport but was given a warm welcome and the bed was really comfy would defiantly stay there for longer in future
