We had a great tour through the old town of Faro. We received a lot of interesting historical insights about buildings and streets. The guide was very enthusiastic and you could feel his passion for Faro. He also provided a lot of tipps for great places to dine and explore Faro after we finished the tour. Thank you very much for having us today:)

Took in the free walking tour with Rita on Saturday, April 6th. Although the weather was not very cooperative we muscled through and were glad we did. Rita was very knowledgeable and provided an educational and interesting two hour tour. She took us places we would never have gone on our own. We were a small group and interacted with each other as well. Highly recommend Rita and her group.

Did the tour on Friday. I'm ashamed to say I don't remember the name of the guide but he was very sincere and very proud of his town and his heritage. It was a pleasure to spend time with him and we learnt a great deal. Thank you very much.

Great tour with a friendly guide and a good introduction to the history of Faro and the surrounding region. I also love the pay-what-you-want nature, it ensures that you always get your money's worth But don't worry, because it will be a great experience.

Nice way to find out what the city has to offer from a local! Our guide Rita was very informed on the history of Faro and answered all of our questions.

We did the walking tour Yesterday with Rita. She is a lovely and passionate guide and she shows a deep love for the city of Faro. However, we know that this project is pretty new and there is room for improvement, it can focus a bit more on the history and slightly less on trivia, it seemed that we missed the Faro Castle. Overall a very enjoyable experience and probably the best way to start your holiday in Faro.

I loved the tour. It was very rich in the history of Faro and Andrea the tour guide had a great knowledge and very passionate about this city historical past.

sehr cooles Angebot! :) kannt ich bisher nicht. Bei uns war es eine bunt gemischte Gruppe aus verschiedenen Ländern und allen Altersklassen. Man bekommt eine kostenlose Führung und entscheidet am Ende zu 100 Prozent selbst, wie gut es einem gefallen hat und wie viel man dafür als Trinkgeld geben möchte. Wir hatten einen sehr sympathischen Führer, der einem auch ein paar Insider Tipps gegeben hat und mit dem man sich sehr gut unterhalten konnte

El casco antiguo es bonito,precios razonables gente simpática,aunque de visita es rápida recomiendo 1 día de visita o una tarde o una mañana

I really enjoyed this walking tour. I had never been on a walking tour before but the guide was super informative about Faro. He provided us with knowledge of the historical events that had taken place and even showed us local businesses that locals would normally dine at. I'd highly recommend doing this tour.

Un paseo por Faro en el que no solo cuentan la historia de la ciudad de una forma amena salpicada de anecdotas sino que también te recomienda lugares y sitios que visitar . Muy recomendable

Perfektné miesto na trávenie dovolenky. Pre tých, ktorí nepotrebujú vylihovať na pláži je jar, alebo jeseň ideálna. Menej ľudí a pobrežie Alarve na dosah na obe strany. Pre tých dobrodružnejších dáte v pohode aj Gibraltar :) Alebo opačný koniec, romantický maják Cabo sao Vicente. Auto sme si prenajali takmer na letisku za 110€ na 5 dní (VW Up) a prescestovali sme naozaj hodne. Auto šlo požičať aj bez kreditnej karty, zaplatili sme debetnou, akurát kauciu za diaľničný transpordér sme museli platiť cash (50€) V blízkosti aj kopec prírodných parkov, plantáže a mnoho ďalšieho, čo sa naozaj oplatí vidieť.

Wonderful experience. Our guide Andreas was very informative, fun, and knowledgeable. We had a great time walking around and learning about Faro with him. Exactly what I was hoping I would get out of the tour, highly recommend

An absolutely amazing walking tour! The time flew by as we walked throughout Faro and the old town. The walking tour was rich in cultural and religious history too. Our tour guide, Marcel was excellent, he was so passionate about Faro and the history of Portugal, it was fantastic to hear about all of it. Marcel was approachable and humourous and answered all of our questions about Faro, he also really got to know all of the people in the tour group and tailored the information to their backgrounds and interests. Fantastic 2 hours well spent! The tours were all in English too.

Absolutely enjoyed my tour with André, who I find captivating, knowledgeable and passionate about Faro. The two hours went by quickly learning awesome facts in an entertaining way. Highly recommended.

We had a great tour this morning with our guide Rita. She was lovely, very interesting and informative and easy to listen to. We had already explored a bit of the city ourselves the day before, but she took us to some new places and gave us some added information about places we had already seen. The tour was a nice mixture of the historical and the contemporary. I would definitely recommend it.

Andrea was an excellent guide, a well received (by the whole group as far as I could tell) combination of history and the current state and culture of the city. The bridges he made between the places you saw and their history were pure comedy when walking through the city, which made it very fun. Just take the tour when you are visiting Faro.

This was absolutely great and I'm glad I went for this tour when I arrived to Faro. You get to know the history about the town and how it became the town it is today. The tour guy was great and had a lot of knowledge, both old and information about today. I feel I learned a lot and some of the information actually stucked in mind. I really recommend the tour if you like history or just want to know interesting facts about Faro
