We were lucky enough to be just us two so had a very peaceful private tour. Very relaxing, the boat is almost silent to just the sound of the water, wind and birds. Our guide explained the features of the water way, the bird species and the local clam digging industry. It was great to look back from the water at the old town set among the newer surrounds. Only problem with the trip was it came to an end!

Today we went for a 2.5 hours bird watching trip with our guide Avelino in his solar boat. Saw and heared a lot of birds on the Ria Formosa. Had a great time. Thanks again Avelino
