Dropped by off the cuff and the owner was very accommodating. Let me have a quick look around and discussed his beers. Tried the pilsner which was crisp and refreshing. Also had the piri piri pilsner. Nice chili taste. Worth checking out their beers as they are very good. Looking forward to seasonal stuff in the future.

Great brewery to stop at for something other than Super Bock. Met the owner and they gave us a tour and we tried some fresh beer out of the carbonation tank. Bought a 12 pack to go and the beers are great!!!

Amazing experience and outstanding brewery! We were just working our way back to the Algarve from Spain when we decided to stop by this establishment to have a taste of their beer. The owner Gary was ever so inviting! Craft beers are a tad harder to find in Portugal as Super Bock tends to run the game of distribution. Not only does Algarve Rock Brewery make delicious beers for Portugal, but it competes with many we've tried across the globe. The owner shared tastings of beers he had in shop and then gave us additional locations we could find their beers in stores. My husband went "bananas" for the Weiss and I am obsessed with the Piri Piri Pilsner. A spicy beverage in a location rare for craft beers? Amazing! We most definitely recommend anyone to visit this brewery if you are staying in or passing through Faro. And if not, find their beer in Baptista, Spar or Apolonia stores in Lagos. Absolutely delicious!

A must-visit place for a beer geek! Very kind staff would guide you through the brewery, patiently answer all your questions concerning their beers and their manufacturing process, and finally offer you a degustation. Very good beers, i.a., accidentally "smoked" Weiss Bier and quite unique Piri-piri Pilsner. Moreover, the owner himself would happily advise you on some other interesting places to visit during your stay in Portugal!

Very nice experience and great beers. The owner was very welcoming, showed the brewery and was clearly passionate about the beers. The delicious beers can be bought for a great price, among the best craft beers in Portugal for sure. I especially enjoyed the Piri Piri Pilsner. All in all, a great place to visit!
